I will never understand people for saying that DYX and YCY don't have chemistry.... Since to me both on and off screen they have chemistry which makes their love all the more natural and sweet to watch. I enjoy watching them interact with each other, whether it's in the drama, in the BTS, in the variety show or interview they are two people which are seen to be very close and care for each other, and how they can joke around and have fun with each other like that. That itself is already having great chemistry...

Sometimes I felt like we can watch the same thing but interpret things so differently... Shows we have different preferences about something. I will never understand those people in here or online for saying they don't have chemistry because that is just pure nonsense at this stage.

I would buy it if this is out. Since it really is symbolic of these two whether it is as CK and XY or DYX and YCY (since that's their Chinese zodiac too).

Then we can agree to disagree about the awkward part in this footage since I find this deleted footage kiss scene sweet on my end.

I used to love xianxia genre from back then a lot but considering the current trend of their HE.... I started felt like I need to watch Modern Drama with the same CP again so I can get a more fulfilling ending lol

30,000 years arc. Where their back story was revealed (minus the HX scenes) is my no.1 favourite life time

Honestly.... I don't mind that kiss scene since it's sweet. Everyone have different way of kissing... At the end of the day... As long as the feeling is brought across and conveyed to the audience I am content...

Some pairing may have "passionate" kiss scenes but if it's awkward than that makes it just as bad... So to me it depends on the feelings that is being brought out to the audience when doing it.

I want a modern drama where they share lots of sweet and passionate scenes! I think I'm more into modern drama for a more fulfilling ending. Hope they can collaborate again as a CP!

Yes and I totally agree. One deleted scene in the 4th life was significant in explaining why CK couldn't cast the SPS on XY again and he actually explained it to her which was a good moment to be left in the drama since it's relevant to the drama!

This is why I am mad at whoever deleted those scenes though!

IKR, if they can keep the one like in TTEOTM, I don't understand why they have to delete this one!

This wasn't even steamy and it's sweet and tender. Would have better if they left it in!

And yes I have seen that interview where they were asked what role they want to be when they were to collaborate again and he made a point saying he didn't want to be biological siblings. So he wants to be a CP with YCY again

There was also one moment where he was asked if he get to change his identity, what DON'T he wants to be, and he pick YCY and the reason behind it is because if he became YCY he wouldn't be able to collaborate with her again <3

Honestly to me DYX and YCY feel more than just friends to me. They are very close IRL and very nice to see.

See this just proves that we should never trust in those negative reviews because you should check it out yourself to see we see it differently.

Oh I will check it out then. It's okay since I can understand Chinese enough to understand the context of what is being said.

Also it's actually funny how in one of the Variety show DYX was asked the question about if there's any scenes he's not happy with in LY7T and he answered at that time it is the current tribulation (when they episode aired), because the acting of the scene went by so quickly that he wanted to film it a couple of times lol 🤣🤣

In the novel for BFTB and LY7T (don't know about LBFAD since I didn't read it), there's extra scenes showing they are married and have a child so it's a fully satisfying ending in the novel so this is not jiu lu fei xiang doing. It is just in the drama going by today Xianxia standard(for ridiculous reasons) it's the trend to have this type of ending.......

But IMO BFTB and LY7T is still acceptable and likeable if I don't compare it to the "once upon a time back then in Xianxia, where we can get a fully satisfying ending like LAR"..
