Really hope they can be a CP again in another drama!

It is explained that CK "Star of War" lights up in the Immortal sky, so CK is back, as you can see in the final scene, he's back with his full memories since he can remember her.

I like the way they XY enter the mortal gate like that because it is hinting that they will go through the 7th tribulation before they return back to the immortal realm.

To me I didn't doubt the ending and the message it was conveying. It is quite poetic , but doesn't leave doubts since there is explanation that lead up to that point

CK will return with her to the immortal realm after all this and they will have their HEA.

Omg I also love that part in friends. She was sleeping the whole time when they had the hair cut but later when DYX joins them in the car for the next destination, YCY offered the crushed snack to DYX but DYX didn't want it at first cuz it's crushed and doesn't look good , I also think he seems to be sick that day too since he wasnt there with them that morning. In the morning when one of the elder brother who was travelling with them asked DYX if he's okay , so it was revealed he wasn't feeling that well that morning

Back to the snack when DYX said he didn't want it, she looks a bit upset, and then one of the elder brother(whose name I have forgotten lol), said he's also hungry and she offered to him as well, she was so enthusiastic to offer it to him lol. And he also made that face and action saying he doesn't want it. Then DYX said something at the back to the brother telling him something in an indirect way(to not over do it and put YCY in a bad spot because of the crushed snack lol), YCY resumed to eating her snack at the back and said something and then, this is when DYX said he will give it a try lol, to join in with her , and to actually show after what happened earlier(from that brother) that the snack is actually edible

Also in Episode 4 to As you wish Variety show they were playing the name and squatting game. YCY was eliminated first because she squatted when DYX name that he picked was called out and then after she was eliminated the next round, DYX didn't squat when his name was called out. I actually felt that he lost on purpose because he want to join YCY being eliminated, which I find really cute 💓💓

Yeah he is very attentive when it comes to YCY, he always looks out for her and help her which is very nice to see. Even in the other variety drama "Friends", you can see that he is very attentive of her and helps her as well. It'd really sweet , I love that they are close IRL as well.

That part in episode 4 when YCY choke and then DYX help tap her back and give her the cup of drink and him trying out the sauce and got the same result was hilariously cute haha

I love BFTB ending going by today standard to Xianxia ending .. I long lost hope we will get the Fully satisfying one like LAR back then.

Back from the Brink and LY7T ending is still better than those very last 30 second or less than 1 minute ending where you don't know if it's real or a dream etc....

Lol, in "As you wish" (for LY7T) Episode 3 Variety show is so hilarious. I love how at the beginning they have to do the paper, scissors, rock game to decide on the team members. So there's two group YCY Group and DYX Group, so when YCY lost to DYX in rock, papers, scissors, he get to choose a team member and he chose "YCY" 🤣🤣🤣

Of course he cannot choose YCY in that instance in the show since she's the team leader in the opposite teams LOL 🤣🤣

But I still really love how obvious he makes it in more than several occasions, whether in variety shows or interviews etc, he wants to team up with YCY again/collaborate again together as a pair.

Hope to see some good news where they can collaborate again in another drama as a CP. I want to see them in a modern drama if that's possible.

I would question that people cannot read facial expression if they think CK doesn't have his memories 🤣

I made a comment in here about my favourite mortal tribulation previously before the ending, but here it is again, this time I will elaborate simply what I love about them after finishing the drama:

1. 30,000 arc. I truly love the back story to add depth to the story and explained many things and what happened in the past for us. CK in the past is so adorable and funny, I can see why LCK is like him since that's really his underlying personality before he forget the past. And I also love CH too, both their interactions and scenes made me fangirl for them. I can watch this arc over and over again minus HX scenes lol

2. The Shifu and disciple arc. I love that this one, CK have his memories so whatever he did in this mortal tribulation makes it even more sincere and real (as the him would when he's in the heaven realm haha). I also love JL and ZH(in their mortal form) with CK being their shifu(the trio and their interactions is nice to watch). It was also nice that it revealed that it isn't because CK didn't recognize Jin Lian, he did recognize him but he chose to not reveal it and treated him without any prejudice was really nice to see the. The scene how he cooks for her is hilarious and I love how he really crave XY crabapple cakes to the point that he keep reminding her even if her cooking is bad she still need to try accomplish the crabapple cake in the end lol. That's why it was satisfying to see when they are back into the heavenly realm that he finally able to get it from XY!!! (And that smile on his face when he saw it too!!)

3. The Demon arc, the only downside on this for me was that I felt like I was more worried about CK sacrifice and forgetting about her how they foreshadowed that if he obtain that power he will forget about her. I didn't like that foreshadow on my end. That really took away the enjoyment for me when I watched that arc at first, and it still resonates inside me as something I still subconsciously remember.. But now knowing that isn't the case I can happily watch that arc again without any worries. The only downside for me is that it's too short!! But I do love both their look and makeup here. Too bad we didn't get a scene where they share a kiss in this look though!!

4. LCK and childhood sweetheart life. I didn't like the political side to this life since it bores me but for every moments between CK and XY I can enjoy over and over again. Minus those XM scenes lol. I do love that the ending in this one was emotional and touch me though. How he grief over her death and the beginning that mark the point that he hate the snow was due to what happened in this arc 😭😭

5. The general and princess arc - the whole body swap was hilarious and I saw some deleted scene where I wish it wasnt deleted since it would also explain and reveal to the viewers why CK cannot cast SPS on her again, although for me I have guessed the answer right but it would be nice to have that revelation in the drama and not deleted.... But this arc was short however I see it was a necessity since it ties into the later plots as well.

6. The Pig and Tiger - this one wouldn't be considered a love tribulation lol but it was a necessity that happened which made XY the partner for CK to go through the mortal tribulation. It is short but funny. I love them in the animal form and how they dubbed over the animal is hilariously adorable. For a while it did kinda remind me of the baby lion king again lolll

7. Umbrella life. I honestly wish this was longer and we get some of the other side character scenes reduced and to make room for CK and XY before the final credit roll. But overall I am happy with the ending going by today Xianxia standard ending. I long lost hope for the fully satisfying one like LAR that we can get back then. This drama really should be 40 episodes instead of 38 and I felt cheated in the last episode because it is only like 30 minutes at most if I minus the opening and ending credit...

I see this as a HE filled with hope so I don't mind how it ended. The only downside for me is I want to see more for CK and XY but given with today Xianxia ending standard I am fine with this ending.

Oh nice! Definitely recommend this drama because I personally really like it. It's also a happy and satisfying ending too so that is plus points. The main pairing chemistry is good too.

For anything you should always check it out and give it a try if you like it or not. Since everyone tastes is different. For me I love this drama.

Exactly! To break the loop and be given a happy future where they can finally be happy without any obstacles.

This ending for the drama ending is a Happy Ending filled with hope for their future which I like.

I don't mind at all. Here are my answers to you :)

1. For Back from the Brink, it started of comedic but if you get into the story (in the Dragon Valley arc, it actually can get quite angsty for the viewers where some of us made a comment back then that we missed those comedic and carefree scenes at the beginning. Both TianYao and YanHui actually got character developments during these times as well. You need to resume watching it because there's certain scenes that really make us cry our eyes out. I remember crying at a specific scene which I won't spoil that my eyes hurts... So to answer your question, yes, it does gets serious and angsty but at the same time still retaining what we love about the story and characters.

2. The romance started of slow burn but through their travels together, YanHui(FL) really warmed her way into TianYao(ML) heart. They really do have chemistry both on-screen and off screen. TianYao is also someone who selflessly loves YanHui on his end and he really shows this through his actions and what he can sacrifice for her.

3. Yes, unfortunately BXS(2nd ML) does become an LT but it is one sided on his end since YanHui only ever loves Tian Yao. BXS will get his developments later and became a shipper of the two by the end.

4. She's just an ordinary human but later she will have another identity and will become stronger. I won't spoil the details for you on that one just watch for yourself. For me personally, I don't see she is weak at the beginning since she can protect and defend herself and even saved Tian Yao in the forest at the beginning from that demon.

5. Yes, happy ending. I'm quite happy with that ending actually and am satisfied because everyone gets their happy closure, even the main pairing.

You really should consider getting back into BFTB because that drama really does get better and the pairing chemistry is great!! If you love CK and XY in LY7T, then naturally I think you would for Tian Yao and Yan Hui too!

There isn't any plot holes in the story as it was pretty much explained from what I got out of it.

The novel plot is not as deep and compelling as the drama IMO.

I love the added back story to CK and CH that gave them a back story.

I also love the characterization for CK and XY in the drama better too..

So each to their own opinion.

Yeah I saw some of those cut scenes already.

Well here hoping Iqiyi will release this on their YT channel or something so it is easier access to download those deleted scenes..
