For the most part I get why fans wanted a more fulfilling and an actual explanation from the writers so people who don't understand will understand it, but I won't get into that concept since I've shared my opinion on my previous reply to you.

You are looking at Xianxia genre, so they are being able to come back is not impossible.
The thing is, from my understanding of censorship becoming strict these past couple of years, they cannot fully explained why they are able to come back because Resurrection and reincarnation will not pass censorship if they have to go into detail in explaining the reason behind it. That could be one reason that we need to take into consideration when it comes to adaptation...
We(viewers) can only take hints from what's been shown in and take our own take on the ending
I am not saying I don't want a fulfilling or an ending that explain how he can come back but I'm just seeing this in a less harsher light due to censorship and also because looking at xianxia genre, the possibility is not impossible especially if the hints is highlighted in the story
I am not saying that LY7T is the best ending, I get why fans is upset and want a more fulfilling ending BUT in my eyes, this ending is still better than, The Untamed, Love between fairy and devil, The Starry Love and Song of the Moon Ending(2) for me.
Of course we all want a better explanation then what we were given, but honestly, if CH can be reborn as XY and then later after everything she regain her CH status, why can't CK do the same? Given that we are looking at xianxia here?

It was explained. In the final episode after CK "died" from protecting XY because of the SPS, he made a promise to her that he will come back to her one day.
He also said to her after he mastered the power of the demon king that even if he were to forget himself he will never forget about her again.
Fast forward to the scene where it was explained that ever since CK "died", XY was at the Star platform looking up at the sky in hope that there will be a miracle and when XM went to pay her a visit they have their talk and then XY saw CK celestial star lights up and flew by the sky. His celestial star(star of war)was gone the moment CK died, so the fact that she can see it again, she said that CK has returned. XM questioned if she was seeing it by mistake and she said that she is certain she saw it because she spent many days at the star platform to search for CK celestial star again. That is already the answer that CK have came back and that is how XY started to go through the mortal gate to find him again.
The fact that his celestial star appeared in the star platform is revelation that he came back as his original status being the God of War(as an immortal), but everything needs a condition is how I see it so CK and XY will go through their final 7th mortal tribulation again before they both return to the heavens.
XM did said the position he take as Heavenly emperor was only temporarily, and he and the others is looking forward to one day XY can come back with CK so honestly if CK wants to he can take over the position as heavenly emperor. But one thing I don't doubt in that ending is 100% CK is back with his full memories and he will be back in the immortal realm at the end of all this. Just too bad that we don't get to see that in the drama ending because they have to go with their ongoing trend of the very last minute happy ending....

It actually does explain with the hints thrown in the drama in the final episode that CK has returned because his Star of God (Celestial star) lights up and flew by the sky and XY also said that she have spent many days since CK "died" and so she couldn't have mistaken it.
It is not impossible for CK to come back since the writers hinted that he could through the final episode leading up to that point.
For me, LY7T is a happy ending, although it's short but it didn't leave room for me to doubt.
I actually like the fact that XY went through the mortal gate to find CK again in the mortal realm because it felt like to me they will have one final tribulation before they both can return to the heavens. At least for CK I think that is the case. As a condition for him to return to heavens(back to his former God of War status). And it was a nice parallel that the place they met each other again (without the red string of fate) was the same place that CH met CK back then.
There is a lot of parallel and deep meanings in LY7T, the title to drama "Love you Seven Times", showing that the final 7th tribulation was based on that ending where CK came and meet XY at that place and they will go through their 7th tribulation and after that they will be able to get their HEA at the end. The hope and possibilities is there.
Well to put it simply, from how I understood in that ending, CK did came back with his memories intact, and XM and the others also said that they're looking forward to XY returning with CK one day and in xianxia these miracles can happen and we got that miracle at the end.
I'm not saying it couldn't be better, of course I want the fully satisfying ending one like once upon a time in xianxia world like LAR.
I'm just saying for LY7T, with all things said it was explained through the hints and the revelation pointed out in the final episode that CK has returned because XY saw his celestial star in the Star Platform, which she was waiting for that miracle and which the writers have made CK promised XY that he will return to her one day(and and XY made a comment saying that he didn't break his promise). At least for me thats how I understood that ending.
I didn't doubt that CK has returned with his full memories because if he had forgotten about her(he wouldn't look at her that way that we got) the way they look at each other and the way how CK wipe her tears in that scene was powerful to convey this to the viewers (me at least), so while I honestly wish they extended that and have a more fulfilling ending, to me LY7T is still better than some very last minute ending where you can't see their face or you don't know if that's real or it it's a dream.

I felt like those commenters is a bunch of hypocrite. And honestly if I don't like an actress and actor (trust me I do have some I don't like), I won't go into that drama or just turn off my notification to show that advertisement.... I wouldn't go and ruin it for the others who likes it. I wish people don't just have a one track mind and let others enjoy and learn that what they're doing will one day get back at them (karma). I sure as hell hope I don't have the same preference as those haters who ruin it and make other people (who enjoy this drama and pairing) ....

It's even more beautiful when you think about how they don't need the red string of fate to tie them together and he was able to find her again. That was the same place she met him 30,000 years ago as well. It's all back into a full circle but this time they will be able to get their happy ending.
And yes it did prove their love is stronger in that sense.
I believe with all the clues hinting to it, that after this "7th tribulation", CK will be back to being his former, God of War, only this time they will live on for a very long time happily without HX plotting on his end.
