It is all part of his tribulation I guess.

The way I understood it, in this story world building, the more higher status you are, the more disastrous your tribulation is, just like his mother for being a Chief God.

Yes, from that moment we can only see if from the eyes of A-Yin, but in the eyes of the viewers, we know that Yuan Qi had protected A-Yu and I'm here waiting when she will found out when that time comes.

Yuan Qi had plans to explain it all to her once everyone left.. if only she didn't die... But the whole thing was to push the plot along and to build on YQ character in the end.

YQ made the decision to destroy Ningyun Mountain, because it was his way to keep her alive. Keep in mind that he didn't know that A-Yin immortal core was destroyed by that bitchcock already so he thought of another resolution to protect her life.

A-Yin is willing to take the heavenly thunder to prove her innocence, but if she did that she will be destroyed by the Heavenly Thunder, that's why Yuan Qi suggested another resolution since Water Divine beast is naturally weak and need to be nurtured in Ningyun mountain, so to appease everyone, he will seal A Yin immortal bones and use his spirit sword to destroy Ningyun Mountain as her escape route.

He did said in his monologue that he was going to explain everything to her once everyone left and he also said that his spirit sword will not kill her, just sealing her immortal bones. But because she no longer have a immortal core, this ended her life instead... This is what A-Yin wanted on her end anyway, as the result... but from Yuan Qi's views he didn't know that her immortal core was destroyed so we can't really blame him with that decision because he rather sealing her immortal bones(which she will be alive) over her taking the heavenly thunder(ending her life.)

Gu Jin's feelings on why he doesn't want to return to being his true status Yuan Qi (as the True God), before all this is the responsibility he have to shoulder when he return to being one and he knows that being a true god means that he cannot be partial towards anyone, therefore he cannot protect the one he wants to protect freely...

Honestly if it means being a true god cannot protect the one person he loves, and have to be "forced" into that situation, what's the point of him returning to being a true god?

And why the heck is the peacock bastard acting all mighty and calling the shots. When he opens his mouth I just want YQ to silent it! But too bad that didn't happen!

I understand why Yuan Qi did what he did but I still have to say he really did a terrible job at protecting A-Yin and hurt her both emotionally and physically 😭😭 I felt so sorry for A-Yin....

Well, I know this is all to build on YQ character developments and I hope that FY won't forgive YQ easily because I want YQ to work for it in the next "life"

I don't remember the exact word for word but in context she wanting to see the world first is similar to experience what people goes through (so this = to experiencing this herself). Since she wants to be a good queen that understands what other goes through or something. At least when she said that, that is the context I am getting.

So what she's going through right now will make her a great Phoenix queen that have been through hardships to get to where she's at now(after she returned to her true identity/status.

You know, how FY said at the beginning when she was born, she said something about wanting to experience through these hardships or experiences before she became the Phoenix Queen...😢 Well now she got her wish as AY... 😭😭

I feel sorry for her when YQ have to hurt her, when he destroyed his love thread for her. This is why for me I don't want FY to forgive YQ too easily. Let him work for it to earn back her love.

That doesn't make any sense if they want to make an "Adaptation" from the novel. If they got permission to make an adaption from the novel then they should respect the novel character names at least.

For Yuan Qi being renamed as Gu Jin at the beginning I can understand but his real name is still Yuan Qi in this drama.

That is the first I've heard of "they only had permission to use it in that drama because for Pillow Book (Eternal Love of Dream) character names tied in well to continue from Ten Miles Peach Blossom even when a 98% of the casts have changed.

P.S. I'm not having a go at you about this but I'm just annoyed they changed the names to what it is in the Last Immortal instead of keeping it tied into the novel and the canon source: Shanggu and Bai Jue
