I made a similar comment yesterday, and I'm glad CK told XY what he found and that he's suspicious of his own brother there.

I actually love Chongzi on my end so I was among those who love the drama. While I understand people may not like it since they prefer the novel better but for me I like the drama over the novel better.

I get why some fans is disappointed in the adaptation because looking this in another perspective I was disappointed to the drama adaptation to my favourite novel (by the same author) "Fly me to the Moon" which got adapted into Song of the Moon so I can only take the drama as a fan fiction or alternate universe.

Everyone deserves a second chance. If they don't like it then move on from it. No need to ruin it for other people who can be open minded and like the drama though.

This is why I say, not being too popular is a blessing in disguise.

Sometimes when I say I don't support my favourite actor or actress being too popular is because I dont want them to attract unnecessary (toxic) attention.

When I say I don't want them to be too popular, it doesn't mean I don't wish them well(quite the opposite actually), it means I want them to be protected away from all the toxic and that they won't lose their freedom by being "too popular".

So there are always pros and cons in seeing things.

Haters will always be haters and I don't understand the hate, but may those haters get their karma one day

I hope YCY and DYX will continue to do well and is unaffected by those negativity, here's me sending them well wishes (internationally), spiritually!

Chongzi was quite popular for international fans but I guess that's a different story for China then.

I really think those toxic should be banned on Weibo though!

I hope Karma will get to those people who is doing it on their end. They are disgusting in my eyes

P.S. I don't remember YCY getting this much hate back then when the Journey of Chongzi was filming... I don't know why she got so much hate and attention of being attacked now on this character when her character in LY7T is loveable too!

I just hope YCY and DYX both respectively isn't affected by the toxics and still can see that there are fans who loves and enjoys this drama.

This drama is good, those who badmouth or trash it AND those who are doing this for the intention to spread hate and toxicity to ruin it for other people who enjoy the drama (and attack the actress or actors), I really hope they will get karma or understand the meaning of karma so they can reflect on themselves!

This is why I hate a vast majority of those cnetz who make someone life miserable, and this is also the reason why I don't want to go to weibo. When I think of weibo, I think of these toxics....

I actually kinda had a feeling that kiss was cut... Since I remember seeing a Clip where it was longer but in the episode that kiss was just like a Peck on the lip 😭😭

Yeah if you can tell there's cut scenes that's bad editing. They really shouldn't cut those good scenes though!

Yup!! I was like "way to go CK for being honest with her and not keep her in the dark which might cause a misunderstanding later".

While I understand why the previous Xianxia ML did it is to keep her out of danger but it is refreshing for once that we get a ML that share these information with the woman he loves!

While I know how this will end for them 😢, I actually appreciate and love how they made their current 5th life more of reliving the past as part of their "mortal tribulation", and I think it was a good decision that both of them didn't have memories of their present time, because only by not having it they can fully relive the past events that happened, and this is something they both will experience personally and it will not just be a memory or flashback to them.

I am going to feel sorry for CK because he really did consider his brother as his closest relative but to have him do that to him in the past will really hurt him(it is losing a family member that he trusted)..

Just want to add something I am glad to see and that is, CK didn't hide the truth from XY when he realized that his brother was hiding something. I love that he was honest with her instead of keeping the truth from her.

And thanks for also giving me the answer that I was asking on my end, because I was wondering how CK didn't realize that was JL, since he have his memories when he did the third mortal tribulation (master and disciple one), so how didn't he know. But then I got my answer today, and that is it isn't that CK doesn't know, but he knew all along but just didn't reveal it.
