I don't see it like that. It is short yes but it still serve a purpose and is not completely wasted.

Through this tribulation we found out that them both dying can nullify the downside of one dying over the other.

They still achieved in finding out the hint which I believe will connect to the later story.

They were able to help ZH regain his memories.

I don't mind how it ended like this tribulation since I see that it still serve a purpose and I enjoyed it and actually glad they didn't drag it out with this tribulation.

They went to this mortal tribulation because they want to find hints where Immortal Li went since after their third mortal tribulation (the master and disciple one), Immortal Li went missing. From their eyes they didn't know what happened because they were not at the scene when Heavenly Emperor killed Immortal Li.

The hint was revealed to be in the nursery rhyme that was sang by the children (that was the hint, by Immortal Li).

To me personally I love BFTB better than the other two drama and quite honestly TTEOTM was a huge disappointment in my eyes.

I know they have kiss during their mortality tribulations, but this is the first time, that he in CK immortal self did it so I was excited when it happened .

I love the parallel on the differences of how he said about burning/tearing down the marriage pavilion, the whole back then vs now and showing the developments and how far they've come in the progress of their relationship was done very nicely, up to the point that (oh yeah I support what he did next) CK sneakily gave XY a kiss, he is getting more bold with his actions hahaha 🤣🤣

They both timed it well where they die together to return back to the heavenly realm, so I guess that is the trick to nullify the downside of one dying over the other.

P.S. It was funny, but cute how XY was jealous of Jin Luo touching "CK" in her body lol.

Oh that's darn then. Here I am saying I will not watch another IQIYI drama again since SOTM. But I came back because I cannot pass on LY7T.

YouKu should have done something similar too since a lot of fans love the casts in BFTB too and they did hit the heat index too .

But for BFTB I enjoyed all the live stream since they did have 3 and each one just brought a smile to my face!

I love HMH and ZY chemistry off screen too 💞💞💞 I need another drama with them in it.

But that all aside I am happy for LY7T with the variety show since it's good content.
