Can someone explain what it means when Xiang Yun got her forehead mark at the end of their 3rd tribulation?
Because in these mortal tribulation both their primordial spirit is of the same origin,
If XY sacrifice for CK than CK primordial spirit will be enhanced and get better and XY primordial spirit will get worse.
If CK sacrificed for XY(like what happened in their 3rd mortal tribulation), than it is the opposite where XY primordial spirit will be enhanced and that sign could be a symbol that she gained from this tribulation through CK sacrifice for her out of love. So CK didn't gain any enhancement from this mortal tribulation (instead it was the oppositive)
In the first 2 mortal tribulation (even the pig and tiger animal one), both times it was XY sacrificing for CK to save him etc and she died from it so CK primordial spirit recovered a bit from it.
So it looks like the loss and gain is dependent on who sacrifice for who.
I also ask this same question yesterday because stabbing moment doesnβt look traumatic for lovers in Xianxia…
It depends on how it's played out..Some I can understand and let it slide but how that scene played out in that episode really hurted me... When it happened it's a stab to my heart too...
That part when XY kissed CK on the cheek was so sweetππ, that counts as a confession from her right?! Action is better than words right?! π€£ππ But I still want to hear her say it though!
I love how she caught on that CK got his memories when he went down to the mortal tribulation in the third life.
And he finally get to taste the crabapple cake by her!!
I cried at the part when he kissed her in episode 21 πππThe way how he told her to live on well before…
It was the heavenly king that did it, we now know that he's a shady character (poor Immortal Li though, now who is going to write the fate book and stories???) but CK wanted to save her, and that's why a part of his primordial spirit was injured in the process (the exact details I'm not entirely sure) and then it is probably the Heavenly King that wiped that part of CK memories of CH 30,000 years ago, his memories and his love for her. Because I believe that CH and CK did love each other in the past(a part of his memories that he's forgotten)
The irony...When I read someone asked the question yesterday if there's any stabbing scenes.....
And then when I saw that scene XX stabbed LCK(She stabbed him!! ππ), thats a stab to my heart too!! WHY didnt she trust that LCK wasn't the one who killed her family?!? Why do she have to go as far as stabbing him. If she's mad than I would have handled it better if she slap him but NOT when she used the same hair pin that he gave her to express his love for her and stab him with it!! ππππππ He didn't kill her parents nor did he play a direct role in killing them
Isn't this like a parallel to their previous life where her parents was the one to kill his parents but at least LCK knowing it, he still never went as far as what she did πππ
I'm telling you that stab hurted me and I wish it didn't happen.....
I haven't finished that episode. Just want to drop a comment in here after I saw that scene.

Haha haha, CK, I love how you accidentally let that slipped!!! π€£π€£
I also hope he will not die too.
Just like how I suspected the flower was her and she didn't die, so let's hope for the best.
Stabbing scenes seems to be a thing in Xianxia...

The way how he told her to live on well before he dies, I love the parallel of this life ending and the previous life.
And I strongly believe CK didn't kill CH. It was a misunderstanding formed on XM end.
What I think happened is....
