I know the drama and novel mix the time line about the tribulation.
Although the first mortal tribulation is the animal one, and I know that's their first tribulation but a part of me don't take it that seriously because nothing romantic happened in that life and it was a very short one so subconsciously in my mind when I am expressing my opinion, my mind and heart will just auto think of their first (real) mortal tribulation is the previous one they did (the wedding and died in the snow part)..

In the novel the first tribulation was actually the wedding one where she died in the snow. Not the animal one.
I don't like to count the animal one when mentioning it (although that is counted as their tribulation as well), because there's not much on that one to talk about since it felt more filler-ish in the drama(like a test try of their tribulation) to have CK realize that she is his partner for the mortal tribulation but not much other than that in the animal life to talk about, when compared to their actual real first tribulation(which is their previous mortal tribulation , the death in the snow) imo

Yup. He had that trauma because of the first mortal tribulation. She died in the snow in that life and that scene in episode 18 reminded him back to their first mortal tribulation. That's why he raised his voice at her and told her to not close her eyes.. since in their previous mortal tribulation, she closed her eyes in the snow and never opened it again ππ

It wasn't immortal Li. That part of the story was changed by XM. That is why Immortal Li was annoyed in tonight's episode and need to report to the heavenly king.
So in this 2nd mortal tribulation is, it's either CK sacrifice his Linlong heart for her, or she for him π₯
I actually want to see it's him sacrificing it for her instead (where that become the end of this mortal tribulation).
That way it will kind of be a parallel to their first(real) mortal tribulation where she sacriced for him
And the reason why CK doesn't like the snow, I wonder if anyone picked this up is actually really touching to me because the reason was that XY died in the snow in their first(real) mortal tribulation (he didn't like the snow because that was a painful memory for him and seeing her in the snow where she's weak and was sleeping and have fainted in that scene again(in the second mortal tribulation) really did scared him because he thought he had lost her for good (again) and this is only just their mortal tribulation(that whole scene touched me to be honest) especially the reason why CK didn't like the snow on his end
