I don't like those type of "Open" ending for a pairing I come to love so I don't consider that a satisfactory ending at the end of the drama for TSL.
For ALP, that is more of a satisfactory ending although it's a last minute happy ending where the ML is the God of War in that one and I felt that one did a better job with conclusion side of things in comparison to TSL .
How this drama and CK will be like we will have to wait and see although for me I am loving his character and pairing in the drama right now. But I won't judge LYST until I completed the drama as a whole.

I love how CK is showing more human emotions after he did that mortal trial where he can't stop thinking about XY on his end and he will create opportunities to see her is just 💓💓
Poor Chu Kong, didn't get to eat XY crabapple cake. And he really wanted to eat it too (because it was made by her) 😥😥 but I'll be honest I find that scene so hilarious adorable with that expression 🤣🤣 of his where his chopsticks was midair when he watched the last piece got taken away by XM (I still don't like XM for butting in their relationship although I know he's in there to cause annoying trouble and obstacles, but his way of doing it is annoying for me).
I really love how Chu Kong used his magic to wipe away the tears for her, that was such a sweet, tender moment that showed he cared about Xiang Yun now 😍😍
And the way how Chu Kong came back after he "left" to indirectly drag XM away because he was jealous that he is having a moment with Xiang Yun is so hilarious!! 🤣🤣
Xiang Yun didn't get the hint from Chu Kong when he invited her to see him lol, Chu Kong wanted her to thank him, not the heavenly king 🤣🤣🤣
P.S. Copying the heart sutra is an excuse lol, he just wanted her to stay by his side so he can spend more time with her on his end that's just ❤️❤️
After coming back to heavenly realm does Chu Kong remembers now what happend in the mortal world?
There's no reason why he shouldn't and by the way when he came back (although it's subtle), the first person he want to see was her , and the way he looked at her when he saw her was different to how he first looked at her.
But I haven't read the novel so not sure how the later scenes will play out but just basing through my analysis of the scenes. He might pretend like he doesn't remember the time they spent in the mortal trial in the next episode(although I hope he won't though and be honest about it)
God. The Second ML is so toxic... I have a feeling I'm going to really hate him at the end.
Now I finally understand where the title "Love you seven times" comes from.
The first (love) trial got me crying bucket of tears at the end. But I think this first trial of love that they experienced in the mortal realm would be considered the second time Chu Kong(ML) love her? Since from glimpses of flashback they seem to have a past in the heavenly realm , and that's the part of the memories that Chu Kong forgotten.
But honestly for me I have to say everytime in Xianxia when they undergo a mortal trial, I always say "Please let them die soon, since I want to get back to the heavenly realm etc" and to think this won't be the last of it is 😅
Disappointed that QP still want KML to be the first one to say something(and apologize) to her and she not doing the first step in speaking out her feelings for him...
Like honestly why does it always have to be KML doing the mending in this relationship.
Usually I hate annoying LT that comes into the picture but SH being in the picture kinda does let QP to act up and be the one pursuing in this relationship and being more 'vocal' about it....
I think those people (maids etc) does have a point in that sense that QP doesn't really deserve KML (at this stage), but if she put her actions into it and be more vocal about it then at least she will show them and us (who's disappointed on her so far in this story) that she does deserve KML. She needs to do the chasing and not just have KML do all the work in this relationship...
How I see SH is just a plot device to have QP get her act together in taking the first step in proving her love for KML IMO!

First reaction I can understand but her having a prejudice against KML and not believing in the good in him where she can't accept him or trusted his words and confession when he revealed the whole truth to her, I will never understand.
She already showing sign in ending part of ep 26 (asking HX to invite KML over).
I am talking about the next episode from what she is going to show me. I want her to be the first one to open her mouth to apologize to KML for the hurtful words she said to him and confess to him.
How the next episode play out no one knows. But if it is KML to be the first to apologize to her again I will be disappointed since I personally don't see that is fair. Like why do he have to make the first step by saying something when she can do the same on her end.

That's not really true. I mean if you put the comparison that when she is blind, just for the short moment, she was able to open her heart to KML.
In the end, she didn't fell in love with KML first is because of her prejudice against him and that she never really opened her heart to really accept him the same way as she did with everyone else...
So in the end, it is all on QP. Since she was stubborn and have that prejudice against falling in love with KML so she shut her heart off on him until she lost her sight is when she finally see KML without that prejudice...
One thing I do find funny in today's episode is that when she is in doubt or is bad-mouthing KML, she actually wanted General Ma to defend and speak up for KML.
When General Ma said something bad about KML, QP ended up defending KML instead LOL
She wanted someone to say anything to convince her that KML did sincerely love her... To dispel her doubt.... The irony... If only she believed in KML confession for her prior to their departure. It's like a part of her believes in him yet another part of her doesn't trust in him completely thus the inner conflict so she wants someone to dispel her doubt by saying and speaking up for KML, words that she wanted to hear on her end....
