Ohh I don't remember it being said about being a straight man. But there is one part in this live stream where it was said that TY is very blunt with what he says.
Since in the drama (at the beginning), when they were in the forest and YH leg was chained up, and TY said "Quick, cut it off(your leg)", and HMH said something about how his character (TY) doesn't say much but when he say it, it's not like a human language and can be very blunt. Because he's a demon, not a human. Maybe it's that part? Since I remember they briefly talked about it in this live stream.
