Episode 22 trailer... Wow... Just... What is going on?? 😳😳
It seems Yin Fan is affected by something but then I can tell that he seems like he was injured from the episode 20 trailer so I don't know what happened.. will be interesting to find out though.
Fr I really find mu yu nice but he is so different like I first thought he was nice but behind that attractive…
Yeah I like him too but I know he's the spy because I got spoiled from the trailers. I think he's the one who is in white and wears a mask when he first made his appearance in front of Wan Yue
I mean I don't hate him yet, and I hope I won't later.... I just don't like that he was the one who caused her to have those nightmares in the first life and now in the second life.
When he told her he will take her inside the Pavilion Hall I'm like "oh no not again...."
In the novel after the orb’s destruction Min Yun Zhong sentences Chong Zi to execution by lightning for disrupting…
Omg haha.
I didn't think Shu Ke will write his ML like this since I've read his other novel which was adapted to a drama (Song of the Moon) and I love the ML (Yue) in the novel....
I don't know those unspeakable acts you spoke of since I am not up to that part yet... But from what you're telling me... I am glad they changed it and make the ML (Yin Fan) more likeable in the drama....
If I'm going to read the novel since now you got me curious I will keep an open mind about it I guess....
Well as you will see later(depends on how you interpret it when that time comes), he did let her down the mountain....…
I won't get into the topic of replying to you because I will feel like repeating myself lol.
We clearly interpret it differently on how we access the scenes.
If everything goes smoothly in the first life then there won't be something known as "regret" and "character development"!! This is important in all stories to build on and if everything can be done the way you want and she is protected etc then there won't be a 40 episode story to tell.
Sigh back then it was Mu Yu who took her to that Pavilion Hall....
And now in the second life the history repeats itself...
I hated how the old bastard told Chong Zi to kneel for 2 hours. Every time he opens his mouth and suspects her I just want to 😡 at him...
But I honestly love when Yin Fan came and save her from kneeling down, and to shut his Shixiong up!!! And I love how coldly he looks at his shixiong like he doesn't give a crap about what he's going to say!
In the novel after the orb’s destruction Min Yun Zhong sentences Chong Zi to execution by lightning for disrupting…
I was going to read to see the difference among the two versions since I know that there will be pros and cons. But what you're telling me does make the ML (Yin Fan) to be more appealing in the drama.
I guess I will still check the novel out but I'll take it slow with the novel then lol.
In the novel after the orb’s destruction Min Yun Zhong sentences Chong Zi to execution by lightning for disrupting…
I only started reading the novel recently, if this is how the novel is like, I actually prefer the drama better, to be honest. At the end of the day, it all depends on one preference there.
Well as you will see later(depends on how you interpret it when that time comes), he did let her down the mountain....…
That scene when Chong Zi asked him to give her one day because of a promise she made with Wan Jie, at that moment, his Shixiong (the old bastard) was already pointing fingers at her that she is working with the demons etc. All Yin Fan wanted to do was to prove that she have nothing to do with Wan Jie and that she's an innocent in this. The only way to shut his Shixiong up at that moment was if Chong Zi were to return with him.
No one is saying that when Chong Zi embrace her demon side she's going to be evil that's why the demons are so misunderstood but you need to cut Yin Fan some slack here, he once knew Chu Bu Fu and treated him as a close friend but what happened after he was possessed was he went into a complete 180 degree change in character and started killing immortals, those 3000 immortals that was said to be killed by him. He didn't want to risk Chong Zi going down that path . Because he puts her to be a very important place in his heart. He didn't want her to become another Wan Jie where his fellow immortal sect and his shixiong going after her. He didn't want to come down to that path where they are on opposite sides like what happened between him and Chu Bu Fu. What he felt for Chu Bu Fu was he see him as a friend but what he felt for Chong Zi was more than that so he's afraid with the reference of what happened to Chu Bu Fu to happen to Chong Zi and she did prove that she was attacking the immortals after she was being manipulated by the dark energy. When she thanked Yin Fan after he killed her, it shows that she wanted him to kill her so that already implied that she didn't want to walk down that path of no return....So we can't fault Yin Fan completely given that Chong Zi didn't have any resentment towards him when he killed her more like she was freed from that evil energy...
Also, Yin Fan said so himself that what he's afraid of the most is Chong Zi leaving him... Should we fault him for that? Despite he knows that to protect her from walking down that path was to keep her in Chonghua palace but he still soften and let her down the mountain in the end which lead to that tragedy in the first life. He wants her to always be by his side the same way she wants him by his side, to stay by each other side, and that's not wrong if two people love each other that much....
But you need to consider that he does have a heavy responsibilities on his shoulders and that is to protect the peace of other people on his shoulders. So he doesn't want to risk (he can't risk it) for Chong Zi to become another Wan Jie.
Aren't you being harsh in judging him there? The one who hurts the most to have to do this to her and be the one to kill her is him. He killed her but let's not forget that her last words to him was in no relation to resentment but she thanked him for it. This shows that she wanted that to happen because she didn't want her body to become someone who hurts innocents and those she cared for and that result (killing her) was not an easy thing for him to do either..
He sacrificed his freedom and using that spell to give Chong Zi another chance to live a NORMAL life away from the conflict and danger and he was even alright if they never meet again.... He even said so himself that all the wanted for her was to live in peace and be happy.
The one who pushed her back to the Path of immortality and conflict again was Wan Yue since he suggested her to cultivate in Nan Hua...
I felt like we are really interpreting it all differently...But it shouldn't be too hard to see it from all sides and angles here.
Honestly even if she were to embrace her demon side I really don't think he will kill her again because that one time was already enough for him to not want to live through a second time. This all goes into character development!!
And what's a story to be told if there's no drama there?!
She could of lived a normal life for the rest of her life in her second life but destiny had brought them together again (more like Wan Yue), so if anything don't fault this on Yin Fan here! Since he said it himself that he wanted her to be safe. He even traded his freedom and and have been protecting the town she grew up in all these years...
That's enough to show me that he does care for her...
Basically let's just say that I don't hate Yin Fan because he has shown me on multiple occasions where all he wanted was to protect her, although there could be better ways to do it as some might say but when the others were accusing her, he still stood in front of her and protected her against those accusations.
Yeah he pointed a sword at her at that time but then let's not forget she was the one who used that spell on him first. Which shows in that moment she is going against him when he never thought the same spell he taught her she would use on him which lead to his Shixiong (the old bastard) mocking him afterwards when what Yin Fan wanted to do was take her back and away from her being accused by his Shixiong earlier...
While everyone (including JT) seems to scream "oh, how could he do this?" I kind of understand why the ML had…
Oh bring on that dark character hahaha. I love Gray characters if done right.
I don't mind him showing me this side and change in him because it just all emphasize how much he loves Chong So(FL) in the end and how it also went against his original character without any human desires to who he is now. If it's a positive change than I always welcome it on my end.
I keep telling myself there must have been something that he saw in this role... so still hoping for a chance…
Yeah I will see how it all plays out later in the end. But right now I don't particularly mind how it shows his actions. Like his jealousy as seen in the restaurant in episode 13 was hilarious and adorable at the same time to me.
For me personally I don't mind the change if it's done in a way that appeals to me. Or is a change for the better and I love seeing him showing these human emotions when it comes to her because it is showing me how much he loves her (as well as the way how he went up against his Shixiong to protect her etc).
I also started reading the novel last night as well as I was waiting for the episodes to air.
So I guess I will see how the novel plays out in the end.
I guess to sum it up, for me, I have loved their relationship since the moment he accepted her as his disciple. I love that she's the only disciple he accepts on his end. Yeah it goes in a way as possessive but then again in every romantic relationship that sort of possessiveness can be seen because naturally when two people is in love they only want that person to be with them and have eyes for them.
As long as it doesn't stray away from the comfort zone of the FL, I think I will be fine but like I said I will wait and see how the later episodes plays out
I don't have a problem with "Gray" characters if they are written to the way they doesn't bother me and for Yin Fan, I don't have a problem with him in the drama on my end.
Let's just say that how others may see his actions as questionable but because I like their relationship I don't mind that he shows me these changes when it comes to his feelings for her because it's better than not showing it to me.
Let's just say that if I were to compare their relationship to Journey of the Flower ML and FL, the chemistry in this drama (Journey of Chong Zi) is done better in that aspect.
"A high immortal growing back his human desires due to love" <- I also find this romantic on my end
I keep telling myself there must have been something that he saw in this role... so still hoping for a chance…
Hmm I don't see his affection for her is toxic since I love his affection for her and find it endearing.
But I can see that he's subtly changing from who he is before he accepted her as his disciple.
I mean the fact that he hid the truth from everyone to protect the FL and her identity already went against his initial character since I don't think he had ever lied in the past. According to ep 20 trailer how it shows his Shixiong(the old bastard) when he asked "Is she....."(showing the suspects) and Yin Fan replied "she's not"(I mean I don't blame him for replying that though), but yeah I can see the subtle changes in him but I don't hate it since it shows his strong love for the FL
What kind of sick bustard is this ML.... what dose he think, that chong zi is his pet or something !!! he is the…
Well as you will see later(depends on how you interpret it when that time comes), he did let her down the mountain....
He didn't want her down the mountain is his way of protecting her because when she's down the mountain it attracts unnecessary attention from those who is after her to push her further into that (demonic ) path that lead to those "righteous" immortals pointing fingers at her when it relates to those demons and when she's in the scene...
Don't just try to see it from the surface but try to see it from all angles and access the situation.
But in the end, if that's how you see it and interpret those scenes than I can all say, we can watch the same drama but interpret it differently...
Personally for me I can't fault the ML because he has shown me on multiple occasions just how much he cares for the FL (Chong Zi) on his end.
While everyone (including JT) seems to scream "oh, how could he do this?" I kind of understand why the ML had…
That's how I feel exactly and it is obvious that decision hurted him the most to the point that he discarded the same sword that killed her in the end.
Chong Zi thanked him for killing her because she didn't want her body to be controlled and in the end hurt those that she cared for (including him).
I actually felt sorry for Yin Fan(ML) to be honest because no one seems to really understand how much that result(Chong Zi death) hurted him. It wasn't easy for him to do it. But in the end there was no other way at the time.
While I know he was the one who did it but I can't bring myself to hate him because (1) Chong Zi thanked him for that decision when she died and (2) because of his grief and how hurt he was after she died. When he cried in episode 15, and how he held/hugged her in that episode , I cried too.... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
It seems Yin Fan is affected by something but then I can tell that he seems like he was injured from the episode 20 trailer so I don't know what happened.. will be interesting to find out though.
