It's been almost a month since this drama ended but I still can't forget about it or leave it behind me...This is insane. I miss Luo Ge x Liu Shao pairing on my end.....
he does and yes there is a reason why he can't for now. He also not just know martial arts, he is the greatest…
Yeah, ironically the romance in Wulin Heroes, I don't feel the chemistry in the main pair 😂 So I can't really stick to it. I thought I will take a break on that one and check out the Blood of Youth since I've seen a lot of people make a comparison because Li Hongyi is in both these dramas. So I decide to check out both on my end lol, since I have nothing to watch at this stage. The story in Blood of Youth seems to be better even when there's no romance so that goes to say a lot from someone (me) who prefers romance genres lol 😂
he does and yes there is a reason why he can't for now. He also not just know martial arts, he is the greatest…
Thanks!!! His character being so mysterious is appealing to me . So I will watch on. I hope it won't be like right towards the end that he gets his martial arts back since I like to see him with martial arts or something but the beginning seems interesting so I will stick to it and see what happens later.
Two endings depending on the choices made by Liu Shao. First ending is Liu Shao wanting to save Luo Ge by drawing…
I know how you feel about ending side of things since I felt the same with an ending to the story. It should be a conclusion to the story as a whole and shouldn't leave more questions after/at the ending.
An ending to me is important as well, but for me an ending that makes sense is equally as important but yeah you can watch to the end to decide for yourself. I do love the main leads and the main pairing on my end though. I will always love them even when I am not fully satisfied with the ending on my end .
Two endings depending on the choices made by Liu Shao. First ending is Liu Shao wanting to save Luo Ge by drawing…
I didn't mean to confuse you, but it will sound confusing if you didn't understand the story/context of what happened, but you can watch it for yourself and decide on which ending is to your preference.
There are 2 endings to this story that got aired. How both endings played out is determined by Liu Shao's choice/decisions. Take it similar to being a Visual Novel where there's multiple Endings.
"Will Liu Shao sacrifice herself to protect the one man she loves whole-heartedly" OR
"Will Liu Shao have no choice but to kill the evil spirit, which this leads to Luo Ge's "death".
First ending (Episode 39) - I love/prefer Liu Shao's choice in episode 39 ending better since that's how I see she would decide on her end especially when she have been saying all along that the person she wants to protect the most is Luo Ge. I still love what she said to Luo Ge in this ending
**** FURTHER SPOILERS ***
"10,000 years ago, Yao Ling have to painfully kill the one she loves, 10,000 years later, Liu Shao can finally protect you" <-- that's a powerful quote for me that I love. This is one of the reasons why I love and prefer episode 39 ending better. It kinda gives a sense of growth to her character for me since this time it's her turn to protect him instead of the other way around.
Yes, episode 39 ending is an open ending, but it didn't leave me with any doubts when it ended, because I know Luo Ge and Liu Shao will reunite, since this ending ties in similar to the Novel, where it ended, and in the Extra's he was able to find her again and they got their happy ending.
I love episode 39 ending in terms of main pairing ending goes, because I like how the writing was being handled between this ending (in ep 39) and episode 40 ending.
At the end of the day, you just have to watch both to decide for yourself, but for me episode 39 ending touched me more and makes more sense. If I am going to be honest, I didn't like Liu Shao's choice in Episode 40 ending, since it didn't make sense to me but oh well, episode 40 got a happy ending, even when it felt rushed and raises questions for me.
Two endings depending on the choices made by Liu Shao. First ending is Liu Shao wanting to save Luo Ge by drawing…
You're welcome. Glad to be able to help. Some like the first ending better , some the second ending better . Both have its pros and cons, so for me I just take whatever scenes I like better in these two endings 😊
Wait I'm a little confused about the ending.. are there 2 endings? I mean in ep 39 and 40? Oh and I remember that…
Two endings depending on the choices made by Liu Shao.
First ending is Liu Shao wanting to save Luo Ge by drawing the evil spirit into her and because of their conflicting powers, they both die. This ending Luo Ge is saved, in the end where it leaves Luo Ge finding Liu Shao again. This actually ties in to the novel ending because in the novel, Liu Shao also sacrificed herself (for a different reason) and God of Moon was trying to find her again (which took a lot of time and effort.... )
Second ending is when Liu Shao killed the evil spirit which leaves to Luo Ge's "death" in the end... I was confused in this ending when I first watched it but after watching the final episode 40 a couple of times I came to pick up some details:
- So when Luo Ge "died", we see that Liu Shao was playing with her Corroding Harp where you see both Luo Ge's Moon Sword and Moon Bell was there. And you know what the effects of Corroding Harp actually does.
- Then we have Liu Shao was wandering the mortal realm and she saw A Fu and Luo Ning reincarnated, so this signify there's a time skip here
- And then in that ending scene, we saw Luo Ge using his fan to tap on Liu Shao's shoulder lightly to show that he's back.. And he have his moon bell back with him even when this was kept with Liu Shao in the immortal palace.. and I think Luo Ge did have his full memories intact.
So in the end, the two ending is determined by Liu Shao's choice.
As a personal preference, the first ending in episode 39 touched me more.
The two ending is not connected since the ending outcome will differ based on Liu Shao's choice. Think of this like a Visual Novel or something.
I'm currently on ep 30. There's 10 more episodes left and I feel like it's a lil bit too draggy tbh. 😅 somehow…
It's fine for you state your opinions. Even when we don't all feel the same way in interpreting the story.
If you paid attention to the story, and context of the story, it will explain why it's like that. Luo Ge is cultivating to become a God, it was stated in the story. And becoming a Supreme God is not a simple process either.
Also, bear in mind that spiritual powers aren't limitless, if you overuse it, then it can worn you out, and it could also put your life at risk.
For me personally, I don't see Luo Ge is weak, because I understood that he have been using up his powers to suppress both, not physically but mentally as well what the evil spirit throws at him. That alone is considered impressive on it's own, to show that while he is not at 100% of his powers, but he can still tie or hold off the evil spirit on his end..
It has been stated several times in the story already that Liu Shao's spiritual powers influence Luo Ge, their spiritual powers are both mutually destructive on each other, if they used it on each other. Without spoiling you the later story, you can see later what will happen when the extreme Yin energy does to Liu Shao. So this alone, along with what the Immortal Master said to Luo Ge earlier when he(LG) was helping Liu Shao open her Qi Hai to help her cultivate on her immortal path, he got hurt in the process, when the symbol on Liu Shao's forehead (which was God of Sun's divine spirit) activates. Luo Ge got hurt because he withdrew some of his powers in the last minute, so Liu Shao life was save. If not, not even her bracelet would have saved her in the end. She would have died...
So in context of understanding that situation, every time when Liu Shao is hurt/injured, and Luo Ge use his powers to heal/help her, it hurts him in the process, and we can make a conjecture here because Liu Shao is fine each time when Luo Ge heals her or use his powers on her, and only Luo Ge is affected by this, shows that Luo Ge is holding some of his extreme yin energy/powers when he use it on Liu Shao, when he does that you can say that it leaves him defenceless against Liu Shao's extreme yang energy so this hurts him....When he is hurt, just like everyone else, it takes time to recover, and it was pointed out that when Liu Shao is beside Luo Ge, he can't recover back fully (that's why Immortal Master was so against them being together). So what Liu Shao is like to Luo Ge when he's injured is similarly opposite to what Wan Shui is to Liu Shao when she is hurt (after Luo Ge received the three lightning punishment in her place instead). Wan Shui said that him being near her will benefit her recovery quicker because of the medicinal effect of Wan Shui being the 10,000 years king herb. But for Liu Shao, unfortunately that doesn't benefit Luo Ge because of their conflicting spiritual powers of being extreme yin and yang.
So you need to take into consideration, or at least try to understand the situation is that when Luo Ge is hurt/injured, he would not say that he's hurt because of Liu Shao's spiritual powers, but truth is, that's the main reason because Luo Ge's spiritual powers is based on God of Moon (which is extremely Yin) whereas Liu Shao is based on God of Sun (which is extremely Yang). This is also the main reason why Liu Shao wanted to seal her divine spirit, so that her spiritual powers don't influence/hurt him anymore.
Even when he was already injured, he can still cast the formation in the yin-yang cave, that strong formation does not come without great spiritual powers, you need to have enough spiritual powers to be able to use it... So let's refresh our memory here, and put these into step by step, Luo Ge was already injured earlier because of the conflicting powers, then he went and set up the formation in the yin-yang cave.... And then when he returns as he was trying to recover back his spiritual powers, the evil spirit have to continue to throw all these at him where he have to use up (again) most of his spiritual powers to seal them all into the sphere when he was in the Bone Melting Pool.... So honestly, can anyone just cut him a break there... Even Wan Shui said it himself, that he can't continue on like this, because he will eventually die... And again, spiritual powers aren't limitless. People need to understand this... BUT even when that is the case, why don't people ever consider the fact that yeah, Luo Ge wasn't at 100% of his powers, but he can still stand his own against the Evil Spirit and what the Evil Spirit throws at him... Isn't that good enough to prove that he's strong, and NOT weak?
Side note, Luo Ge is not selfish if he considers He Na his friend and cared for him enough to actually get the Water Dragon Vein to help He Na with his injury. He Na wanted to help Liu Shao, so it is not Luo Ge dragging He Na into the trouble to help Liu Shao. Also bear in mind that the one who hurts He Na indirectly (and directly) is A Fu, not Luo Ge, so try to NOT put A Fu faults onto Luo Ge.... Luo Ge knew it was A Fu, but he let He Na handle this himself instead of him going to his den/water kingdom to trash the place... He cares for He Na enough to give him some face to let him deal with A Fu... So this is already Luo Ge showing me (personally) that he cares for He Na enough to let him handle this himself.
Personally, for me, I like He Na as a character too, so I want him to be happy as well... But what I love about the three relationship between: Luo Ge, Liu Shao and He Na is that, while Liu Shao only loves Luo Ge, she still cares for He Na as a friend. While Luo Ge is seen to be jealous of He Na, but he still cares for He Na to went out of his way to get the Water Dragon Vein to help He Na with his hand injury (did A Fu did anything to help get these rare medicine to help He Na recover? No, but he just continue to hurt He Na indirectly). And also, one of the reason why I love the main pairing Luo Ge and Liu Shao is that when Liu Shao wanted to help He Na, Luo Ge didn't stop her, instead he trust both Liu Shao and He Na, and Luo Ge can trust He Na enough when he asked He Na to look after Liu Shao when he stay back in the Yin-Yang Cave to help Xie Lingqi and Shi Wei. Luo Ge also didn't stand around when He Na was in trouble when he was trapped in the desert (a trap by A Fu)... He still went and save He Na, even when immortal master advised against it. As for He Na, what I like about He Na is that, even when he loves Liu Shao, but he doesn't force his feelings onto her and support them on his end. These three are great characters in its own way where they care for each other.... So don't make He Na into a pitiful character that he doesn't get the girl, because if Liu Shao doesn't feel that way for He Na then it's not her fault.... Love is love... You can't force love onto people, He Na deserves someone other than Liu Shao who can love him the same way Liu Shao loves Luo Ge. He Na deserves this much to be happy.
At the end of the day, you can find whatever pairing appeals to you, just like you have your right for not liking the main pairing is equally as much as me saying I don't like A Fu and Luo Ning pairing and find their scenes draggy and forced, but that's my opinion.
I finished watching since I thought He Na is supposed to have a happy ending on ep 40. Not at all! I'm so mad!…
I think their happy ending for He Na is he's alive in Episode 40 and he got his powers back.... But I agree that A Fu should suffer more than that though.
I have some questions.1. How's the main couple's romance and chemistry? And breakup or misunderstanding?2. Any…
1. The main couple romance is loveable, and I do see chemistry between them early on, but their chemistry became stronger in the Immortal arc. There is one misunderstanding between them early on in the first arc, but that got resolve without dragging on so I personally love that. The main pairing is strong and healthy in a sense that there's trust in each other. Even when the ML is jealous/or can be seen to be jealous, he still respected the FL and let her do what she wants, so I quite love that about their relationship. When I think of the Main pairing, I see that there's trust and mutual support in each other. They have their own developments they have to go through, but through their developments, I love what I saw in the main pairing in the end (personally this is better than the second pairing for me).
2. Yes, there is: Shang Yurong and his Shi Jie (I like this pairing on my end), Xie Lingqi and Shiwei (this is a nice pairing too). Yue Guang and Yao Ling(God of Moon and God of Sun) - I also like this pairing. There's a second pairing in this drama: A Fu and Luo Ning (I personally don't like this one though.... Mainly from A Fu side quite early on....), however whether it's appealing or not is up to an individual person...
3. There is... He Na loves Liu Shao, but Liu Shao only loves ML (Lu Li/Luo Ge). Bai Feng is delusional, she loves Lu Li (ML), but Lu Li only loves Liu Shao. He Na is a great character, and he deserves happiness on his end, but I don't ship him with Liu Shao, because Liu Shao and Luo Ge is the only one for me. I do wish he could find someone else who can love him though. I like that he doesn't force his feelings onto Liu Shao, but instead support them instead. For me, while Lu Li/Luo Ge can be seen to be jealous of He Na, but I like that he did show me he shows concern and he cares for He Na as a close friend too, I quite love their friendship on my end
some viewers are really always critical of Vin. I notice that.
Then they should hate the character, not the actor. Actor is just playing out the character, so when that story ended, they should just let it end in that story and move on.
I haven't seen much of Vin Drama's the only drama's I've seen him in was: Eternal Love (TMOPB), and personally I like his character in that one. Love O2O(this one was by chance since I originally watched it for Yang Yang), and I like him in this drama too, he is a really great actor who can bring out the emotions in the roles he played. He definitely became my favourite in Song of the Moon
some viewers are really always critical of Vin. I notice that.
Those viewers makes me facepalm at them. Vin did an amazing job in his acting in this drama, but they will still criticize for whatever their nonsensical reasons is just because they don't like him. I feel for Vin here...
Sometimes it really makes me wonder if people (who say he's weak) actually pay attention to the story, or context of the situation when they said Luo Ge is weak, because if they paid attention to the story, then it pretty much explained why it's like that.
Fact is: They did explained it that Liu Shao and his spiritual powers influence each other. So when he uses his powers on her, it will affect him and it will take him time to recover due to the conflicting powers.
It's not his fault that he got the Soul Devouring spell placed on him and Dark God of Moon can activate it on his end in their battle. And knowing this, no one bother to consider how he was also fighting off both the Soul Devour Spell AND Dark God of Moon at the same time, and in the end TIE with him? So that's not good enough to prove that he's strong? Or at least strong enough to battle two things (Soul Devour Spell and Dark God of Moon) at the same time?
Did people missed the part: - when Luo Ge used/gave his 1000 years of cultivation to his Immortal Master when Bai Feng who disguise as "Liu Shao" injured Immortal Master?
- When the Evil Spirit planned to exhaust Luo Ge's powers, by having these Evil Spirits out of control, and Luo Ge use up most of his immortal powers when he was in Bone Melting Pool to trap it inside the sphere? It was the evil spirit intention to tire Luo Ge out, since if his immortal powers is tired out, then the Evil Spirit gets stronger...
Spiritual powers aren't infinite you know. When you look at all that, and then consider the fact that Luo Ge is not at 100% but can still put up a good fight (and tie with Dark God of Moon when they have their internal battle) and continue to do all that to stabilize the four seasons monument where the evil spirit(Dark God of Moon) throws at him AND hold off the evil spirit until near the end shows he's worthy and strong (not weak)
Even when Dark God of Moon took over, he made a point that he was surprised that Luo Ge can still remain his sanity and consciousness, so that alone shows he's strong...
And Luo Ge does NOT spit blood most of the time, so not sure why people said that. At least it's not as much as some other dramas I've seen of the ML spitting blood almost 90% of the time. When He Na or A Fu spit blood, did anyone complain....Not that I can see it anyway ... So why the double-standard... So Luo Ge can't be portrayed to be understandably worn out and explained why it's like that, but people just chose to ignore it?
I guess this really shows that we can all watch the same drama, but interpret the story differently... On a side note, I don't consider Luo Ge is weak, I actually have to give it to him for holding off the Evil Spirit and what the Evil Spirit (Dark God of Moon) throws at him up until near the end...
Episode 39 - - The dying moments of Liu Shao where Luo Ge grief for her death and how he expresses (and he acted his emotions well!) his pain in losing Liu Shao!!! - The dying moments of He Na made me sad too! T_T - How both Liu Shao and Luo Ge went to their Mortal house, the same place where they have the wishing lantern, that scene really touched me to be honest, it was so sad, and it really shows how much they both love each other - The ending scene where Luo Ge was looking for the 3 leg Pheonix, which was said is the Supreme God Liu Shao doppelganger and when Liu Shao "died" she turned into that divine spirit and flew away.... Luo Ge was trying to find her again, and you see her divine spirit (Liu Shao) has been following / staying by Luo Ge side all this time, although Luo Ge can't see her yet (sad) but this leaves hope that she will regain a human body one day, it just takes time, coherently this makes sense to me, and like I said, Liu Shao sacrificing herself and God of Moon (ML) finding her again, which was said that he spent a lot of time/effort to find her again, but he DID find her again, so this is why in terms of writing this makes sense to me, at least it didn't make me doubt even when it was not a happy ending onscreen!
Episode 40 - - I love that we get canon wedding for Luo Ge and Liu Shao and they are finally married and they shared another kiss!!! I wasn't expecting that! - The battle at least was handled better and not anti-climatic like in the episode 39 version! - He Na didn't have to die!!! And he's back to black hair yay! - While I don't like A Fu anymore, but I did like how he contributed to helping in defeating Dark God of Moon! (Evil Spirit) - I like that he gave his brother He Na powers back (even when he was the one who stole it in the beginning) - Well everyone has a happy ending!!! - Canon that Bai Feng is dead (at least I think so!) and hooray it's the Dark God of Moon who killed her! - Luo Ge came back.... Yeah he came back!! (it is not a dream..............although I wish it provide more of a solid ending instead......)
Episode 39 - - The dying moments of Liu Shao where Luo Ge grief for her death and how he expresses (and he acted his emotions well!) his pain in losing Liu Shao!!! - The dying moments of He Na made me sad too! Someone please tell me... Does Xiao Se knows martial arts?
He strikes me that he does but he's not using it for some reason...

Did people missed the part:
- when Luo Ge used/gave his 1000 years of cultivation to his Immortal Master when Bai Feng who disguise as "Liu Shao" injured Immortal Master?
Episode 39 -
- The dying moments of Liu Shao where Luo Ge grief for her death and how he expresses (and he acted his emotions well!) his pain in losing Liu Shao!!!
- The dying moments of He Na made me sad too! T_T
- How both Liu Shao and Luo Ge went to their Mortal house, the same place where they have the wishing lantern, that scene really touched me to be honest, it was so sad, and it really shows how much they both love each other
- The ending scene where Luo Ge was looking for the 3 leg Pheonix, which was said is the Supreme God Liu Shao doppelganger and when Liu Shao "died" she turned into that divine spirit and flew away....
Episode 40 -
- I love that we get canon wedding for Luo Ge and Liu Shao and they are finally married and they shared another kiss!!!
(Evil Spirit)
- I like that he gave his brother He Na powers back (even when he was the one who stole it in the beginning)
- Well everyone has a happy ending!!!
- Canon that Bai Feng is dead (at least I think so!) and hooray it's the Dark God of Moon who killed her!
- Luo Ge came back.... Yeah he came back!! (it is not a dream..............although I wish it provide more of a solid ending instead......)
