I actually see their chemistry on my end early on so I love their relationship and interactions. And I love all…
Well I guess we can apply the saying to you "better late than never," here

I'm really trying my hardest to get into this drama but it's been so hard...I think I'm going to drop it and I'm…
I actually see their chemistry on my end early on so I love their relationship and interactions. And I love all their scenes and moments.

At least for me they have chemistry over that master and disciple relationship in Journey of the Flower. That I don't see the chemistry on my end lol

Did I miss something?? He said that he has to watch her died by the sword when clearly he was the one who killed…
I was also confused about that scene too and had to rewind and watched it again to see if I understood it correctly.

How I interpret it was that he had to watch her died by his sword, the same sword he discarded after she died because that's what Cong Zi wanted in the end. Take note of what she said to him before she dies, since she didn't want her body being controlled by the evil spirit that is inside the sword (that is sealed).

It is obvious that he didn't want to kill her but he have to watch her die by his sword to free her. Honestly wish there was another way to that than what was shown but then I can't really completely fault Yin Fan because he's shown me how much this have hurted him in the end at that result.

I also think (my theory anyway) this is why he discarded his sword because a part of him hated that same weapon who killed her even when he was the one who did it, (I do think that he hated himself for failing in protecting her)

Yin Fan has two weapons, and he discarded the one sword that played a role in killing her...

Although ironic as it is because he was the one who used it, which I don't doubt he hated himself for that.... But I felt like how it shown towards that scene where he discarded that sword is a symbolic to his feelings and how he couldn't use the weapon who played a part in ending her there.

Can't say I dislike what it symbolises and implied (if that's the reason) since it shows his deep feelings for her.

NGL, I cried in episode 15.... I feel sorry for Yin Fan there.... 😭😭😭 I love how he expressed his emotions and grief in that episode. And how he held Chong Zi in his arms (how he played out his emotions was done so well IMO) when he cried I cried 😭😭😭

And can we please kill that old bastard of his Shixiong, he really pisses me of!

To me he looked almost scared of what she might say... Those were some of their best scenes so far.
I think being scared is understandable given that they are master-disciple relationship and it's forbidden back in Ancient China.

He's probably scare that if she say it, he wouldn't know how to reply her in that moment (because it is clear and obvious that he does feel the same way about her too), and they wouldn't be able to return to how they are with each other pre-confession.

But honestly for me, I do think that if she had confessed to him on the bridge when she gifted him that bracelet, he would have accepted her confession, because he did tell her that later when they are back in Conghua Palace, he tell her to finish what she was about to tell him (when they were in the mortal realm), but unfortunately... All that happened afterwards etc.

I actually really love that scene when they were in the restaurant, I keep rewinding it because it's so funny, and how he was drinking vinegar (jealous lol) was adorable to me, as well as that empty cup scene LOL. Those were definitely some of their best scenes so far indeed.

He was probably so embarrassed and flustered knowing FL was trying to confess to him, so he tried to pretend to…
Yeah I know right. The flustered and embarrassed part shows that he does feel the same way about her too (almost like his heart is beating very fast in that moment ) but he's trying to pretend to be calm by drinking though that kinda gives it away how he feels lol XDD
On The Journey of Chong Zi Feb 20, 2023
The fact that he didn't know that the cup was empty AND when he drink from the cup there's no wine LOL, really shows that he's completely absent-minded 😂😂

I mean how can he not know there's no wine in the cup when he actually drink it? That's just so hilarious. 🤣

Title The Journey of Chong Zi Spoiler
Episode 13 and 14
The beginning of episode 13 made me laugh so much because Yin Fan was jealous and the way how he expresses his jealousy was so hilariously adorable and lol the empty cup (how embarrassing for him XD), he even have to emphasize the "Uncle" part lolll 🤣🤣 He obviously love her because if he didn't he wouldn't have been affected by her feelings for him.

I felt like if Cong Zi successfully told her Shi Fu (Yin Fan) how she really feels on the bridge, he would have accepted her at that moment but too bad the timing wasn't right arrrgh 😭😭

And really love what he said to his bastard Shixiong that no one can hurt Cong Zi, not the immortals sect nor the demon clan....

BUT.... The last part to episode 14 was really sad... I cried.... It's not Cong Zi fault... Because she was being controlled.... I hate those immortal people. That bitch and that bastard Shixiong... I don't hate Yin Fan though.... because of what Cong Zi said at the end to him... And I know this hurts him more than anything to come to that decision in the end , I did cried in that scene..... 😭😭😭

I actually like how it showed that for Sage Tian Jun gifted fruits, Yin Fan doesn't want to eat it, but when it comes to Cong Zi bad cooking on the Jade wheel cakes , he would eat it, and not just that but I love how it shows him going out of his way to look for it is just an endearing moment for me! 😂😂🤣 To top it off, before he accepted Cong Zi as his disciple it was revealed he doesn't need to eat, but when it comes to Cong Zi sincerity on making those cakes for him, he would eat it no matter how bad it tastes! That's just "awww" to me! 😍

P.S. Chu Bu Fu and Keran 😭😭😭 I feel sorry for them on my end.

Title The Journey of Chong Zi Spoiler
Why? Lol. I like Chong Zi and The ML on my end
I already watched episode 9-10.

He did trusted her even when Min Yuzhong (his Shixiong, or was it Shidi... don't remember) said that about her working with the demons, and when Min Yuzhong pointed fingers at her, he stood in front of her and protected her against him, even when Min Yuzhong said he was going against his clan rules.

But when she refused to go back with him and how she said that about a "promise" she made with Chu Bu Fu when they now see Chu Bu Fu as an enemy (all through a misunderstanding), that is already started the first doubt BUT what hurted him the most was that she would activate that spell on him(when he never thought that she would on his end). He wanted to take her back to prove that she have nothing to do with Chu Bu Fu... But she activated that spell, which does kinda in a way show that she is going against him for the first time...

Yes, he pointed the sword at her, but what I saw was hurt in his eyes, and did you not see that part, that even when she activated the "Spirit Seal" to protect Chu Bu Fu against the other immortals, Min Yuzhong wanted to kill her when he sent his sword flying towards her, and when Yin Fan saw that, he actually protected Cong Zi, when he deflected that sword with his powers, and this was when he was already mad/hurt about her "betrayal".... Yet, he still protected her, that goes to say a lot...

So for me, I don't t think we should really blame it all on him, from his perspectives, I can see why/what he's feeling in that moment, when Cong Zi said that she can't go back with him, and the reasons behind why she couldn't was because it relates to the demonic clan... So honestly, I can't fault him entirely for feeling that way. He's mad, and it did felt like she had betrayed him when she went against him, but even though he's feeling like this now, we still see that he still would protect her from Min Yuzhong...

He pointed that sword at her is equivalent to her using that spell on him first. If it's enough for you to feel sorry for Cong Zi, why isn't it enough for you to feel for Yin Fan? Especially when he just wanted to protect her against those accusations but what she's showing him/them is anything but proving her innocence....

Anyways, with that all said, some might not like what's been shown, but.... what is a story without these dramas to build on.

Omg, 3 episodes in and I am loving the chemistry between the master (Yin Fan) and disciple (Chong Zi) relationship!

Got to say that Yin Fan eyes and the way he expresses things kinda does remind me of Donghua Di Jun in Eternal Love(TMOPB and ELOD)
