To be honest I am loving Luo Ge's character so far up to ep 16. I am loving his stoic and cold personality but…
For me, I'm glad he didn't want to go through with the blood amulet in the end because it shows me he cares for Liu Shao's life.
And this whole seeking out the truth about the "repairment of the Bone corroding harp", has a subtleness in his actions there that he wanted to prove her innocence to those people that doubts her. To me, it actually does show he cares for her , in a subtle sense. He believed in her innocence that's why he lure her to reveal the truth.
Luo Ge is not supposed to have feelings as it will distract his ascension to being a God, but truth is, he is not indifferent about Liu Shao and I love every moment that have his scenes in the drama. Every time when an episode is drawing to an end I didn't want it to end I just want to watch the next episode!
To be honest I am loving Luo Ge's character so far up to ep 16. I am loving his stoic and cold personality but at the same time he's not completely heartless because although he doesn't outright express he cares for Liu Shao, but at the same time his actions shows me he does care for her. Her sadness can affect him too and I'm just like <3
I think the fact that he doesnt remember adds freshness to this trope, it brings out the theme that memories may be forgotten but feelings still remains(although this is hidden deep down in his heart)
You will know if it's a good drama if, after watching one episode you feel like watching the next and want to just go to the next episode and not wait for the episodes to air....
This is how I feel about this drama. So in my eyes, so far, this drama is worth the watch. I haven't felt this excitement since........ Ancient Love Poetry.... not even Immortal Samsara (which was a story I've been trying to get into) can have this same effect on me when it comes to the characters/story.
Memories may have been forgotten but the feelings he experienced in the mortal realm will stay with him.
I think he will somehow learn about his life in the mortal realm later when the story progresses. I've seen the later scenes(spoilers), he seems to be holding back his feelings for her. But his actions shows in those scenes he do (still) love her.
Omg I cried in episode 13 and 14!!!! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ but I really love Luo Ge!!! He's so charismatic! I love him so far hope this story arc won't disappoint! I am surprised he doesn't remember though but that makes it even more interesting
Fluffy - yes, but not too sure about the acting,,, I only watched a few episodes, so there's room for convincing…
Maybe you will be convinced when you watch on. I've watched up to ep 12 and saw some spoilers of the later scenes and from those scenes I can assure you that he's good at acting out his emotions and those micro expression is good too. He also have great chemistry with the FL imo
His master is so cruel... I mean I get that he wants to revive the Supreme God of the Moon (so he(Luo Ge) can be complete again), but Lu Li never resented or hated his master for placing that curse on him... He still care and respected him, what his master asked and lied to him to give him hope about having a future together with Liu Shao is just cruel ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ because he didn't know that the one thing he is going to do is all a lie from his master.... I am feeling for Lu Li here... 😢😢 The master he treats like a father will do that...
Well without this, there won't be a next arc... But still.... ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
You know, after watching 10 episodes, I am getting an ALP (Ancient Love Poetry) vibe here, from the drama. Not that I am complaining since I LOVE ALP!
Similarly how Qing Mu is Bai Jue, where Bai Jue split his soul into two, and have Qing Mu do what he have to do, and Bai Jue falls into a deep sleep "Until that time comes".
Lu Li is for Luo Ge(which is his immortal self).
In this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5x2pz_y-EU, it was revealed that Lu Li is a Soul Created by Luo Ge (his Immortal Self), and the Narrator(if you can even call it that) said in that video "Lu Li is actually soul created by the Moon Immortal(god), that is why he doesn't know his true identity". "But his master told him, in order to find out about his identity, he needs to pull out the Moon Sword".
Both Qing Mu and Lu Li didn't have memories of their past, and who they really are i.e. their real identity, because they are both souls that is split/created by the real figure Bai Jue and Luo Ge in their respective story.
Luo Ge - In Seclusion, and won't be awaken until Lu Li supposedly "dies" or return to Luo Ge (kinda like how Immortals undergo a human trial before they ascend?)
Vs
Bai Jue being asleep because his other "Soul" Qing Mu is out doing what he needs to be done.
Also, Liu Shao have said in one of the flashback scenes where both Lu Li and Li Shao was transported into the 'Illusion realm inside the Moon Sword" or something, they both saw visions of their "Past" (If you can call it their past, it's either real or is an illusion, but I am leaning to, it was there for a reason). Li Xiao express deep sadness and disappointment on who Luo Ge(his Immortal - Moon Supreme God) has become, she said something like "You are not him anymore... You're no longer him... One has compassion for the universe, while the the other brings chaos to the three realms... You are no longer him from a long time ago".... <-- Here, indicates that Luo Ge (which is his immortal self, the him in white, who has compassion for the universe/three realms, has became dark/went dark for whatever reasons is still a mystery to all of us. But with how Li Shao expresses that, sadness and disappointment, shows that they would have at least had an intimate relationship in the past (wouldn't be surprise if it was a romantic one)...
Why Luo Ge (the him in the past, in white clothing) went dark... Is still a mystery. It could be a lot of reasons... I haven't read the novel, so I don't know why either. And here is another difference between "Song of the Moon" vs "Ancient Love Poetry", where in Ancient Love Poetry, it starts in the past, where the first episode introduces to their backstory and what happened before chaos befalls upon the God Realm vs "The Song of the Moon" where, they already started in their human realm (present time). Which is kinda funny because in Ancient Love Poetry (Novel), they start of with Qing Mu and Houchi Story just like how in "The Song of the Moon" is right now, the story of Lu Li and Li Shao before their immortal past so it have the viewers guess what exactly happen to them in their past life. I like to hold onto that belief that the reason Luo Ge (The Supreme God of Moon/Immortal of Moon) is doing this/goes dark could be to protect the FL (Li Shao), because I personally find that romantic lol... but this is my opinion, guess anyways, it could be very different, who knows. Like I said, I didn't read the novel on my end
I think with how Song of Moon is at the moment is really interesting because it makes us viewers guess and tries to put together the puzzles and this whole mystery is kinda intriguing... I hope the story later will not disappoint. I have seen the scenes / clips on Youtube later where they return to their immortal self, and looks like there's going to be a lot of angst / heartbreaks or somthing T^T
I actually found it hilarious how Xu Zhehao just want to eat his meat, at the hotpot dinner in the last episode, lol, like just give him a break and let him eat his meat 😂😂
Its unfair to judge a character based on those episode's especially when if you watch on Xu Zhehao turns out to be more gentlemanly and mature which respects and helps Xia Tian fulfil her dreams, Guan Xin on the other hand always resort to punch first instead of talking it out.
If you drop it thats your choice. But just trying to tell you what happened later, the male lead is NOT cold that you make him out to be...
I have to say, I do love this ending. I love how she went to Xu Zhehao at the end, because it shows me she's putting in the effort (chasing after him) to win him back.
But I agree that I wanted to see more of their sweet moments after they are back together. Well, at least we get a passionate kiss between them in the end.
Both Qin Jun Jie and Janice Wu played their roles well, and I do think Qin Jun Jie (as Xu Zhe Hao) is handsome
Personally for me, if I am the FL, I would never have accepted to marry Guan Xin, especially when I know my heart still loves someone else(Xu Zhehao).
I would have told Guan Xin that "I'm sorry. I cannot marry you, this will he unfair to you" and break it off then....
NOT drag it off like in the drama....but then reality is different.. in the drama, this needs to happen for drama sake....not that I support the dragginess though...
Can i punch Guan Xin on his birthday?! Given what he did on Xu Zhehao's birthday.... Honestly, I really can't feel sympathetic towards GuanXin because he knows how Xia Tian feels, but he ignores her feelings... and Guan Xin is abusive, given with how he's ALWAYS the one who start the punch first!!! ðŸ˜
You know at this stage, I'm just tired of Xia Tian for not being honest with her feelings...
Although I blame her friends, that guy friend, like why the hell is he pressuring her to marry the 2ML 😑😑 just because they're friends?!?!?! So he and Xu Zhehao aren't friends now?!??!? When they were before and when they're together, he calls Xu Zhehao "ge" too, so that shows that they're at least close or is this just all fake 😑😑
Xu Zhehao is her true love and soulmate, when she's with him, she can be herself....
It is obvious in comparison that she loves Xu Zhehao more
And at this stage, she's really annoying me so much!
I don't like the 2ML either! I want them to break up so bad and soon.......
I am not complaining though since I love ALP on my end.

I don't know how the real life ex partners will think, and that's not my business either.
She's an actress so her husband should respect that much at least to separate her real self from her fiction characters that she's portraying..
Who is Zhang Yujian??
I would have told Guan Xin that "I'm sorry. I cannot marry you, this will he unfair to you" and break it off then....
