Momentarily, I do see it from Chang Yi's pov, because that's how it looks like from his pov, however, I am someone who also like to see things from two sides pov, and while I understood from Yunhe pov, why she did what she did, doesn't mean I like how that scene was executed.
Not liking =/= not understanding from both sides pov here.
Just simply in the end, how that particular scene was executed, is just not to my cup of tea.
Yunhe never betrayed Changyi, rather she negotiated & spoke of how Beiyuan is ruled fairly by Changyi. She even…
Theres two sides to the coin here. Instead of being dishonest about your own feelings and live in regret later on, she should have been honest about it, and then they lived the remaining days in happiness instead of regret later on.
Changyi even asked her again, that as long as she explain to him and tell him she had a reason to do that to him back then, he will forgive her no matter what, but Yunhe is too stubborn and wont tell him the truth for her reasons which is hurting both of them and then her deciding to leave with Haoqing, what does this look like to Changyi? So ofcourse he's upset and angry. He's afraid of her leaving him, yet she not only did or attempt that but leaving with another man too. So this is what I personally didn't like on my end in that scene
Yunhe never betrayed Changyi, rather she negotiated & spoke of how Beiyuan is ruled fairly by Changyi. She even…
In "that moment", that scene felt like betrayal and what she and Hao Qing did had in a way contributed to putting ChangYi in that difficult position.
Honestly i know why she did it but doesn't mean I like "that part" and her hurting Changyi again when she chose to go with Hao Qing and leaving him, that already is showing him she chose Hao Qing over Changyi in that scene.
Have you watched last night's episodes? If you have, you will realised that Yunhe had a plan to save everyone.…
I made that comment when I watched that scene, it was just my way to let it out because I didn't like what I saw, and yes, I am all caught up to ep 32 now
I really don't like where the story is headed. The change in the drama isn't my cup of tea. I don't like, in fact I really do hate that Yunhe betrayed Chang Yi again and want to escape with Lin HaoQing that caused all this mess. And then the 'Fox King' said all this about his daughter did all this for Chang Yi, etc etc, he wanted Chang Yi to kill Yunhe and then have Chang Yi marry his daughter, like wtf. I felt so bitter at that scene, and didn't like it at all. I doubt that Chang Yi will go through with it, but the fact that Yunhe betrayed Chang Yi for Hao Qing and want to go with him, and Hao Qing even said that Yunhe's death is the solution to this all, I'm like "excuse me??? How selfish can you be, to use someone's life to exchange for the safety of your own clan/life???"
Imo, Yunhe not only hurted Chang Yi because of this betrayal, but from that pov, it is like Yunhe would want to go with Hao Qing / side with Hao Qing over Chang Yi... Do she know how messed up this is?! Because of what happened, she literally put Chang Yi in a difficult situation...
I wanted to post in that thread but it is closed now, so I thought I will just share this here, since this video shows that Cheng Yi is not indifferent and that he cares. It's sad that he's being misunderstood by some who don't know the full story.
I REALLY want to see Cheng Yi and Bingyuan collaborate again in another drama (LAR 2 even) as a CP because I love them and I really hope those toxic fans doesn't ruin for the fandom who loves them and to see them again in a future work. I also believe that while in public they can't show it, but they are still close in private
They are following novel, remember even in novel he is on shunde side for sometime. Shunde even believed him and…
He was, but faking it, however he was not the one who saved Shunde from the fire, it was someone else. I hated it was Hao Qing who saved her, because that's a change I didn't like. Hao Qing in the novel didn't care for Shunde enough to bother go save her in the novel, so it's a change I didn't like in the drama
Lin Canglan and Qing Shu have been experimenting on Yunhe’s Frost Poison for years. They have infused her with…
Oh yeah, hahah, there are some things / moments in the novel which was really interesting, the novel Changyi is a bit more blunt (lol). I still remember the scene where Changyi couldn't walk, so Yunhe offered to carry him on her back, and that surprised Changyi, but he was blunt and said "You're too short", and Yunhe got annoyed at that (lol), and then when Yunhe actually carried him on her back, she said something like "See, I told you, I can do it!" (to prove that she's strong too), and then he replied her saying "I never said you couldn't do it, I just said you were too short") LOL XD That was really hilarious in the novel (this part wasn't in the drama though).

No live action will follow the drama completely.
In the end its up to you (if you have read the novel) if you like the changes or not. Some change can be for a positive, some can be seen as a negative.
I can give you some insight between the changes to the drama and novel.
- Changyi in the novel was described to have silver hair. That was changed in the live action.
- Yunhe nine tails are black in the novel (not white), although I don't mind the change on my end.
- Yunhe in the novel wasnt interested in competing with her "brother" in taming the Merman for Shunde, since she didn't want to be put in a difficult situation, so she never carry the thoughts of deceiving or using Changyi for her escape, she was more sincere in this field without manipulation in the novel (or using him to gain SanYue trust, like the drama did)
- in the novel they didnt get together (as seen as lovers at that time, she didn't lie to Changyi that she loves him when Changyi ask Yunhe why she is so nice to him(in the drama)
- the whole date they had in the drama ep 13+14 didnt happen in the novel. I actually love that change in the drama because the sweet and happy moments before the heart break when Yunhe breaks Changyi heart to be even more touching.
- Since they never got together as lovers, there was no kiss/confession between them like the novel did (back then)
- Changyi subordinate (another Merman) was added to that scene when he was looking for their prince(Changyi)
- Haoqing only saw Yunhe as a sister(family) in the novel, he didn't have any romantic feelings for Yunhe like the drama did.
- The female character added in the second arc who have a one sided crush for Changyi was added in the drama, this never happen in the novel.
- Changyi haven't given his merman orb to Yunhe that early in the novel like the drama did. Him receiving the merman staff(weapon) was also added in the drama.
These are just a few changes between drama and novel.
But so far the core ro the story isnt really changed, to be honest I don't really mind the change if it's for the better.
But i guess we will wait and see how part 2 plays out.
They really did a superb job in episode 14 (and the sweet moments before that just made it even more heart breaking.
I think how they love each other already now just made it even more heart breaking. Both Dilreba and Allen did a Superb job in expressing the hurt and heartbreak in that scene..... 💔
Disappointed. If what I learn about the novel is true, then I am not going to read the novel. I don't even like the pairing Xiao Fan and Xue Qi (wtf....). Did the writers hit their head? You don't have Xiao Fan do whatever it takes to revive Bi Yao and then have that kind of change of heart... At the end of Season 2, In my mind, Bi Yao woke up and they live happily ever after.....
Is the airing date pushed back for the next episode? Why is there no episode from 26-29 Mar? Sorry if this was asked, haven't been on this page checking these past few days.
I think there are more side couple relationships coming up.
Sincere when it comes to love. I know she loves Changyi later, but I didn't like that she was using "love" to mislead and deceive Changyi to have him believe that she likes him (romantically), and this is not sincere, but a deception, because she wanted to gain San Yue's and Li Shu's trust to help her with her plans to escape.
This never happened in the novel, so I like that about her character better, because I didn't like how she told him/mislead him about the whole "love" thingy (and I already made that in another post/comment) previously about how I feel.
I know why she did what she did, but in comparison to the Novel her, she never lied/used Changyi on her end, she was sincere in that area where all she wanted was to get him out of there.
Don't misunderstand, I do like her in the drama, and understand why she did what she did, but I like her portrayal in the novel in that area better.
