Omg, you noticed that too, glad someone pointed that out and I am like. What the heck is going on???

The ending and how the finale plot was handled deducted a lot of points from me, so can't give this an 8 sadly. Su Mo is still my favourite character in this, even when I don't agree with his decisions and his wish in the end, because it really defeats his love for Bai Ying imo, but at this stage, I blamed the script for the inconsistency :(

You said basically whats on my mind. Su Mo deserves a happy ending with Bai Ying but I hate the script for making it tragic and unrealistic and making Su Mo OOC in the end (for me personally) because it really could have been done differently.

I cant make peace with this ending to be honest...

I only like SML and SFL and the second leading couple in that one

This is a matter of opinions. If you don't find him attractive then thats your problem.

Then I don't recommend this drama because to me, this ending for the main pair is cruel and unnecessary... 😖

This is my first time seeing his acting and drama but I probably won't go into his drama intentionally in the future knowing this.....

Tbh I never understand how people can see it as a happy ending. This ending is just cruel

I wouldn't say they dont have chemistry, because at times I do see their chemistry but also at certain times (maybe the scenes you've seen), I agree, they lack that chemistry, not so much on Yukee side but more so on Li YiFeng side......

And i thought Miss the Dragon was worst..... this one is just... *lost for words ...* -_-

For me it declines towards the end, after Bai Ying lose her memory, after that it started dropping for me...

Umm.. Even them both dying at this stage is considered a more acceptable ending than what we were offered. I personally dont support that canon ending on my end...💔

Thats what I was thinking and why I hated his decision so much to become rain!!! Like it made NO sense to me given with how much he loves her... it was cruel but at this stage I BLAME the writers for this because they made him SO OOC!!! And this inconsistency is really off putting!!!!

I did to some extent and because of this unjustified ending, I didn't get any sleep last night.... 😭😭😭

I'm not at peace with this and won't ever be. I doubt there will be an extra clip sadly but if there is, I will check to see for myself.

You know the sad thing about it all is... it actually made me questioned....

Instead of finding ways of having a future and getting back to Bai Ying.... that's what he's decided and it was clealy (a slap in your face) no next life or a future for them....How the heck do you expect me to see it as a happy ending?!

I think I would have accepted if Bai Ying watch over Su Mo's body and it is "hinted" that Su Mo can come back later (and he's just in a deep sleep or something), at least it gives a miracle and hope instead of this shitty ending.

I would even accept an ending where both of them die together and reunite in the afterlife or something...

But this shitty ending? I will never make peace with it. If I knew this was the ending, I will definitely not invest my time in this drama or start this drama on my end.

I hate what the writers did, it was unnecessary and cruel... Not one I can defend or support even when I was one of those who wanted a miracle, but this is not the kind I am asking for. If it made sense than sure but this ending made no sense to me. Heck, Su Mo decision makes NO SENSE to me! I am sad that I have to question Su Mo's love for Bai Ying at the end, and this goes to show how messed up and crappy the story is in terms of being illogically inconsistent....💔💔💔

It frustrates me when it was all leading to a HE since the enemy was defeated etc, and then....

Writer/script writer: "Oh wait, let's make this a tragic end!"

Honestly, what Su Mo want in the end made zero sense to me, it feels like he really has given up entirely to have a happy ending and he's insistent to walk that path, even when he can wish for a happier ending...

I really dont like it seeing that Su Mo is literally the ONLY ONE who sacrificed so much and contributed SO MUCH to receive that kind of ending, it is just unjustified in my eyes....

I hate that he have to relinquish his title as the sea emperor and gave it to Yanxi because Yanxi really didn't contribute anything on his end worthy of that title...

I want a happy ending for Su Mo not because I like him but also because he deserves it after all that...but this ending is just a slap to the face... and it made no sense to me. I can't comprehend how some people in here accepts or see this as a "happy ending" when it isn't....

I would accept it as one if it made sense, but it was illogical, at this point, I hate to admit it(since I always prefer my favourite characters and pair to be alive) that both of them dying and reuniting in the after life and it showed them reuniting in the after life to be a much better and happier ending than this shitty ending....😭😭💔💔

If I am going to use one sentence to sum up this drama/my feelings....

"Promising start, but a complete disappointing ending".

I asked for a miracle, but that's not really the kind of miracle I am asking for. At least make it believable.... (╬≖_≖)
