In the novel this character does change, he drops his villainous plans after finding out some truth (I don't know…
Well, I won't say I agree with you about Su Mo's character, since I personally love his portrayal in the drama. I don't find him boring at all, and I enjoyed every moment of his appearance in the drama.

We can agree to disagree on that part about Su Mo appeals. I will respect your opinions, even when I love Su Mo on my end, and don't feel the same like you about the boring part.
On Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities Feb 10, 2022
I do think that Su Mo and Bai Ying are reincarnations of Chun Huang and Bai Wei though.

I know Chun Huang and Bai Wei are ancestors, but that doesn't stop this whole reincarnation imo, it's just means Chun Huang and Bai Wei are the first generation of the family tree, but they can be reborn into the family again.

I would say that Zhen Lan is Lang Gan reincarnation, but then Lang Gan is alive for 7000 years, so I guess not... But imo from what I am seeing now, I prefer Zhen Lan character >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lang Gan.
On Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities Feb 10, 2022
Chun Huang biggest regret was giving Lang Gan that Heaven Sword. He placed his trust in Kong San, and it all ended in tragedy because of Lang Gan jealousy...

I usually don't mind jealousy plots if done right, but Lang Gan jealousy annoys the hell out of me. I know Lang Gan loves Bai Wei, but IMO, he didn't love her enough to trust her love for him... She wasn't even betraying his(Lang Gan's) love, she was even married to him... I don't really have any sympathies for Lang Gan to be honest, I do, have sympathies for Chun Huang, Bai Wei and Ya Ran because they are victims to Lang Gan's selfishness...

Well that is good to know, honestly, I have a somewhat mix feelings for the novel from what I know.

I don't mind if the changes were for the better, better as in to what appeals to me more but if the changes were for the worst than that is off putting.

One thing I do know is that I love Su Mo portrayal in the Drama better when compared to the novel (looking at Bai Ying side of things).

For Yun Huan, I guess I will find out later when I watch on.

Liu Hai Kuan... I love you in CQL as Lan Xichen but honestly your character really disappointed me as Yun Huan, I was keeping an open mind about you and hope you will change to be honest...

While I don't like you as Yun Huan, but I dont like Lang Gan more... he's worst... I hope Zhen Lan doesn't turn out like him though ...

Yu Huan is such an evil character. Even a mermaid that was good to him and served him faithfully, he only used…
Yu Huan and Lang Gan are similar in that aspect where they will use those mermaid people that was good and loyal to him.... I dont like either of them.

But imo, Lang Gan is worst...

Let me just say, I just absolutely love how Bai Ying can tell the real Su Mo from the fake Su Mo. I love how they have that kind of mutual understanding where no illusion can confuse them of each other.

And I also love how to Su Mo, Bai Ying is the 'only one', I mean, he didn't even confuse Bai Wei with Bai Ying despite they look the same, and how Su Mo reassured Bai Ying that they are not the same person, because truth is they aren't the same person.

Su Mo and Bai Ying really do understand each other; that's why (imo) they make a great team!

in real life, no man is as calm as su mo wkwkkwk....
That's why fictional characters are great in this comparison.
On Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities Feb 8, 2022
Haha I honestly love how Bai Ying was mad at Su Mo for going there by himself and how she fought back and have Su Mo let her go with him 🤣🤣

I do love Su Mo's character and how understanding he is, and will see it from Bai Ying perspective. Thats really a good trait and I love him for that

Her sister is so dumb and selfish, I hate her for playing the victim card and well lets just say to me, she's a hypocrite, I don't like her

Lin'Er, i hate you for cursing Su Mo like that, I will curse this back at you!

But waaah, I love seeing Su Mo turned into the black mist Dragon form like that, looks really cool!!

And I wasn't expecting a kiss between them, but that is just 😍 i love the bgm playing during those scenes.

I am loving Su Mo more and more!

Here I come with a little hope, the person who uploaded the video with the possible ending, just commented to…
Let's pray hard it will be a happy ending for Su Mo and Bai Ying. A miracle is all I ask for. Even if they end it like Ancient Love Poetry drama ending, I will be content

It is highlighting it won't be a happy ending... Omghttps://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1uY411b7pw/?spm_id_from=333.788.recommend_more_video.2But…
Nah I disagree with you here, not sure if you have seen that ending where it shows both WKX and ZZS physically together in the end, that ending tops CQL ending, because CQL ending where Lan Zhan character is involve was OOC when compared to the novel.

Each to their opinion here, I have to force myself to accept CQL ending like that, but with WOH, I am satisfied and content.

To be honest, for me, I understand why Su Mo reacted that way. To hear this from the person he hates the most,…
Yeah I do agree it was hard to tell Su Mo the truth, and I really do believe her when she said that she will tell him eventually, it is just under the circumstances, because Su Mo heard it from the third person, and from the person he hates the most, that makes Su Mo 'doubts ' on Bai Ying that she didn't trust him enough to tell him this sooner. Su Mo deserves the chance to know, because he don't want to regret to be the one who indirectly pushing her to her death. He was justified with how he reacted. Also because he loves her, he only wants to protect her, not be the one to destroy her future.

Let's take a step back and see this from both sides pov. Su Mo anger is not without reason. From his pov, I can understand because I also don't want to find this out from another person, except from that person. When that person don't tell me the truth, and I find this out myself without hearing it from that person, it actually hurts me, it happened IRL. All I want is for that person to be truthful about it, it's not like I won't try to understand or see it from that person's pov, because I will, but trusts is crucial in a relationship, whether it's two people who love each other or friends. Being truth about it, will also avoid any misunderstanding later on.

You see that Su Mo later understands and see this from Bai Ying's pov, so he's not unreasonable. He is angry, because Bai Ying chose to hid it from him, when he wanted her to be truthful about it.

Without a doubt, I do believe that if Bai Ying was the one who told Su Mo without him having to hear this from a third person/especially from the person he hate, then he wouldn't have been that angry. Yes, he will be hurt, but he will also understand her because he understands her, and what she wanted. Bai Ying being the one to tell Su Mo, will just show him that she trusts him to tell him about this crucial information. Since it is crucial, this is her life here. Yes, understandably, it is not easy to tell this to someone, and she have hinted this to him, but again, let's try to see it from Su Mo's perspectives here.

Bai Ying also doesn't want Su Mo to hide anything from her, that's the same for Su Mo as well. Su Mo even told her before he found out the truth, that he wants there to be no secrets between them. Yes, things was escalated, I am sure Bai Ying plans to tell Su Mo this, but due to what happened in that situation, Su Mo being angry and questioned her is not without reason. That's all I am saying.

Okay but Bai Ying really cares for her people. I understand Sumo is hurt but tbh that's like her duty so she did…
To be honest, for me, I understand why Su Mo reacted that way. To hear this from the person he hates the most, instead of Bai Ying, it does create some sort of doubt in him, that Bai Ying didn't trust Su Mo enough to tell him the truth.

Bai Ying wanted Su Mo to not lie to her and tell her everything, so it's only fair that Su Mo felt the same. What they want/how they feel about each other, is mutual understanding, without any secrets between them.

Su Mo is helping Bai Ying to unlock Colourless City, and that came at the expense of Bai Ying's life, and never to be resurrected again, Su Mo didn't know about all this beforehand, he helped her because he wanted her to have a future, and give her that freedom, but what she doesn't have is that future, so I can understand why from Bai Ying's pov, she can't tell him the truth on her end.

BUT seeing this from Su Mo's perspectives it isn't without reason, for all said. His anger, adding on to his despair when this truth is reveal isn't without reason. He only reacted that way (imo) is because he loves her; and he wanted to have a future with her, at the end of all this (so does she), her inner desires already spoke the truth when they were in that misty forest, but when he have to find out the truth in that situation, anyone can react the way he did. For me, I can understand his situation, even if it hurts to find out the truth, but I want to hear the truth from that person, and not from the person I hate.
On Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities Feb 3, 2022
I felt so sorry for Su Mo to be honest, to hear this out from a third person, and from the person he hates the most is not a good feeling. I have a feeling that if Bai Ying told him this in person earlier, then he probably won't misunderstood her on his end.

What Su Mo wanted to give Bai Ying is a future, where she can be happy. But what Bai Ying doesn't have is a future.

That feeling of being hopeful becoming hopelessness, and the feeling of despair in losing the person he (Su Mo) cherish/love the most adds onto his anger and hurt, so I honestly don't blame Su Mo on my end...

I mean I knew through spoilers what's going to happen later, and I understand why he will go through great lengths to protect her from her fate that is already pre-destined....

I hope that there will honestly be a happy ending for Su Mo and Bai Ying in this drama, a miracle please... Because Su Mo and Bai Ying deserves to be happy at the end of all this....

She almost got everyone killed several times in that underground water cave just by being sloppy or not listening…
I'm getting so annoyed at her, that even when she open her mouth now, I just want to put a silent spell on her so she can shut up.. I can't stand this type of character to be honest....
