You know, I personally find Na Sheng annoying when she tries to pair up Zhen Lan with Bai Ying....
For me, I don't like her for that because when she encourages Zhen Lan to chase after an unrequited love and keep pairing him with Bai Ying, this is giving him false hope and make it harder for Zhen Lan to move on, which will only end up hurting him even more later on.
It's best to not step into something when you already know the answer. He knew the answer, and honestly what made Zhen Lan likeable to me is, he's respecting Bai Ying's love and decisions and he's not those typical annoying 2ML where they will do anything to win the girl over. I like that about him, he is being selfless instead of selfish but Na Sheng actions, she was selfish in my eyes, because she only see that Zhen Lan loves Bai Ying, and she completely ignored Su Mo's love for Bai Ying even when she met him first.. And she knows how Su Mo felt about Bai Ying too.
So in conclusion, I have somewhat a neutralish feeling towards Na Sheng on my end...
As for Zhen Lan, from what I am seeing so far, he is likeable and I hope it stays that way, I also hope he can find a girl who can love him and he can love her too, because he also deserves that happiness.
I am not a shipper for Zhen Lan and Bai Ying, because when I came to love a pair a lot, I only ship them as the only one, in this case it's Su Mo and Bai Ying for me
Even after 18 episodes, I still can't like Na Sheng. Girlie takes nothing seriously π
I have somewhat a neutralish feeling for her, but I do know I DON'T like her when she encourages Zhen Lan to chase after an unrequited love and keep pairing him with Bai Ying, which makes her dislikeable since she is giving him false hope and make it harder for Zhen Lan to move on, on his end. It's best to not step into soemthing when you already know the answer.
It's poorly explained. Merpeople are supposed to be born genderless, and they then transform into one gender when…
Thanks for the explanation there, that whole part about whole heartedly loving each other (Su Mo and Bai Ying) is appealing to me, so I will see how the drama unfolds later on.
I don't think it was ever explained in the drama, or maybe I might have missed that part? But at the beginning, Su Mo had that mark on his forehead (and that's the mark everyone in his tribe has) had disappeared; so does that mean, that it is a representation or giving off that sign that it will only disappear when you find your soulmate/truly fall in love with someone? It is similar to how Bai Ying mark was placed onto her and then disappeared, because the seal broke since she gave her heart/falls in love with Su Mo.
Su Mo did said that for Quan Xian people, they only love one person in their life time, so the fact that the mark had disappeared on Su Mo's forehead, means that he truly fell in love with Bai Ying and will only love her in this life time. I actually love that, it's romantic, where you only love one person in a life-time.
P.S: I think someone in here mentioned that episode 20 is romantic, after watching that episode, I agree; because I do think something simple like this can be romantic, I love the sacrifices Su Mo put into making that orb for Bai Ying so she can be protected from the sun, and as angsty as it can be, I love that Bai Ying doesn't know it (for now) the sacrifices Su Mo put into making that for her, because I know it will only be touching later when she finds out. I do like the chemistry between Su Mo and Bai Ying, and Su Mo, looks better in black IMO (lol).
P.S.S. Zhen Lan is a good character, I do like him, I hope it stays that way and they won't ruin his character for me.
One of the most off-putting scene in this drama... The ML gotta choke the FL to near death to make her fall for…
Let's just say.... We(some of us) can forgive that scene because Su Mo was NOT in his right state of mind i.e. he was NOT sane when he did that to her. Anyone who watch that scene closely will know that he was being controlled by this dark magic.
Yes, it comes from his arms/hands, but at the end of the day, if Su Mo doesn't have complete control of his own body, then that puts him as if he is being controlled by something, so it's not him doing it.
When he was partly sane on his end, he told her to leave, because he know he didn't have full control of his body at the time.
That is the difference, to why some of us can forgive and understood why Su Mo did what he did. If one don't have control of their actions i.e. being manipulated by something / force or power, then that makes them innocent in my mind especially when I look at the real Su Mo will rather die and protect Bai Ying than to kill her with his own hands...
You don't have to like that scene, but when you judge a character, then you need to take these into considerations as well... Take context into account, as well.
Danmei translators: Please download the chapters of the novels you are translating now. The ccp has put new rules into place for entertainment, including webnovels, and based on what's already happened to some big name writers, novels on jjwxc may get locked for editing to comply.
P.S: I hate the CCP decision for not giving the writers the freedom to write their own story!!!
Antis coming for Gong Jun but dont know he is most patriotic & purest person ever. Not to mention his studio &…
I hate that they are using the same method to target GJ that way.... like what happened to ZZH, I felt so sorry for him... honestly it shows that being popular is not as blessing as it seems... I hope ZZH is doing okay and I hope GJ is there for him, I believe he will, even if he can't openly show it..
Are they starting to target BL Adaptations in general? I mean, first what happened to The Untamed, and Xiao Zhan being the target and now ZZH in Word of Honour... It makes me suspicious that they are being targeted and those who are targeting those actors/drama is because they can't accept a BL Drama adaptation for being so popular i.e. they are homophobics..... I mean, if that's the case, then I honestly dread for all future BL dramas, and Immortality, TGCF is one of the dramas I am looking forward to, but I love Yunxi, so I don't want him to be the next target!!!! Still hoping ZZH can see the light one day, and he have others around him who cares and support him still even if it have to be private and can't do it openly. Sucks I need, reassurance that he's okay... I understand if he don't want to engage in Weibo.... But why his instagram too? T__T
Well if youre chinese i hope by erasing ZZH's whole career & 10 years of hard work it has made what the Japanese…
Okay, next time you do something that offend someone, not intentionally, then may karma come to you for it. If you don't know the facts, then just shut up. Treat others how you want to be treated. Do you earn money for bullying someone like this? If you don't know the facts, then just stay quiet. If you want to hold the grudges and can't forgive, then that's your problem.
I've been sad a lot about what happened a few days ago. Still think of zzh and how he must be feeling. I know…
I recently found out since I am late to the fandom and I am just sad about what happened. I can't get my mind off this, I hope ZZH is doing well during this time. I hope those he loves, those people who loves him won't abandon him but believed in him and send him the love/support even if it's just privately instead. I am really concerned about him right now, it's already sad that his Weibo account is deleted, although the Weibo part is for the best since he won't be cyber bully anymore, but his instagram too? Is sad, since I don't know what's happening right now, to reassure me that he's okay T^T
Omg, I just found out what happened to ZZH and honestly, I am so sad for him. I really hope there will still be people who he loves, and those who loves him send him messages to show the love/care/concern privately. I hated whoever did this to him, and hope that person gets his/her karma one day, and those solo fans/fans who can abandoned him like that and not believe in his words, or show empathy, they sure are shallow fans!
Please stay safe ZZH! We (international) fans still believe in you! Hope you're okay!
(This still hurts though... It hurts, because he's among the actors I came to love/care about...), how CN handles the situation, imo, really shows how heartless they are IMO.
Same ending for novel i heard. It would be nice if this drama has an extended ending, although they did a good…
The drama at least gave them a hug and in each other's embrace, the novel ending didn't have that unfortunately. They just end with words to describe how happy this moment is to Shang Gu now that Bai Jue has returned.
so far I have only watched the trailer. But from what I see Bai jue, Ziyang and Tianqi are all technically Shanggu's…
Here's an advise for you, don't judge the characters or pairing if you only watched the trailer. The main pair is NOT incest. Bai Jue have a brother kind of relationship with only Tian Qi and Zhi Yang. Shang Gu sees both Tian Qi and Zhi Yang like her brother, since they raised her up, but not literal blood related kind. She never saw Bai Jue as her brother, since she didn't meet him until she's almost 10,000 years old. Bai Jue don't see her like a sister either. Shang Gu and Bai Jue is a master and disciple relationship when they first started, since Bai Jue is her master.
Another evidence that they are not an incest relationship is because their son (Yuan Qi) is perfectly fine and smart, he was not born with a birth defect, like incest relationship who gives birth do.
Say whatever you want, Qing Mu is better than Bai Jue
While I love both Bai Jue and Qing Mu, but between the two, since you made this comment, I will just add my opinion here, I will always choose Bai Jue, because he's more mysterious, badass, and also because through Bai Jue, I can also see those Qing Mu traits early on in the God Realm, and secretly (as well), so for me, Bai Jue is better since he's the complete version that have Qing Mu traits also, whereas Qing Mu being an extension, a side to Bai Jue who can love more freely/openly because he don't carry Bai Jue's memories and him being tied down to his responsibility as a True God, that's why he can love freely/openly like this (how I see it)
That being said, Bai Jue in the end, post canon, after the whole Tribulation of Chaos is over, he could be more open/free to love Shang Gu now, since the whole tragedy has ended
This is how I personally see it though, but those who can't see it, I don't expect you to agree, just adding my opinion here.
If anyone wants to read an extended ending to ALP in here, I made a thread to share on my end (which is based on a fanfic from Douban). You can head over to the thread to read it, translated, if you like. Enjoy!
There are some dramas where after you watched it, you can't move on. For me, it's TMOPB, CQL and now ALP lol.…
Yeah its a fanfic in Chinese. I'll find some time to summarize that fanfic for you because I know you needed that addition to the after ending and also because I love that fanfic so much ππ got to share, and I do know the pain of it being in a language you don't understand. But it will probably have to be tomorrow or when I find the time to or something, since its getting late for me now hahaha π
I love that fanfic so much and wish it was canon in ep 50 to wrap things up ππ

Which has all the scenes to make it a perfect/fulfilling ending.
