Well, thanks for clearing that up about you not being a Xu Feng fan, honestly, to me, he's the worst ML written.

I never liked how fans compare ALP to AOL lol and say they are similar, because I have to highly disagree with them.

We can agree to disagree in terms of Run Yu's character, for me, considering what has happened, I find his actions justifiable, because of what Xu Feng and his mother did. If he wants respect, he needs to earn it first. Considering he didn't even respect Run Yu's feelings or happiness in any of this, then why should Run Yu respect him? I find it fair. But this is how I see it, also because I am not a fan of Xu Feng on my end.

To me, I actually love Shang Gu > Jin Mi, seeing how Shang Gu works hard to cultivate and get stronger, but Jin Mi..... She gets this all handed to her on the silver platter. So that is one reason why I don't like Jin Mi on my end, although I understand she have fans lol, so those fans can like her, not my problem. I don't though. I do love the 2nd FL in AOL though.

Errr, different opinions here, even if you don't like Run Yu, I don't see him as a Yandere.

His character is toxic af? Seriously? You want to go to that direction??? Don't blame me for this reply, I wanted to stay out of writing AOL by keeping it simple, every time, but your reply prompt me to make this reply. If you hate Run Yu, then that's your problem (feelings/opinions). Not mines, just want to say that Xu Feng is not a saint or the best either, he is problematic in his own way too, but since he is the ML, he gets the free pass in the end. Ofcourse fans don't see it if they can still love him at the end of all this. If people can love someone like Xu Feng, without being put into a certain 'label', then we can love Run Yu too without put into a label. So you should respect our different preferences without labelling a fan in a category, yes with that said, I would appreciate if you could stop with the hypocrisy here.

We love Run Yu because his character is sympathetic and deserves the love. He was so mistreated in AOL that pisses me off in terms of writing and how the writers mistreat him like that.

For me personally, I love the 2ML (Run Yu) on my end!! :P I am not a yandere lover, since I don't even think he's a Yandere here. Run Yu have suffered so much injustices/mistreatment in that series. If you want to see Run Yu is toxic, then that's your problem, not mines, for me I don't, because he's sacrificed so much for the FL, to that extent, and was willing to wait for her to love him back. The reason why I don't even want to get into a discussion with the AOL fandom, is because it's full of hypocrisy/double-standard. They only see Run Yu is the bad villain, and Xu Feng is the "Good Guy". When in actual truth, it was the ML who actually stole everything from him(his happiness/love). Note, Xu Feng and Jin Mi would have had my respect if they waited until the engagement was called off first before having s*x, but, nope, they are so horny for each other, they have to do it, while (1) Jin Mi is still engaged to Run Yu and (2) Run Yu is still mourning for his own mother's death, oh, which by the way was killed by Xu Feng's mother!!! So naturally, can anyone not relate to how hurt Run Yu was? They literally did NOT consider his feelings in this while doing it behind his back. If they didn't even consider Run Yu's feelings, I find it fair with how he wouldn't need to in the end. When Run Yu didn't consider their feelings, he get scolded, but when Xu Feng and Jin Mi didn't, they never got scolded, nor did people find it problematic despite it's wrong and scandalous to do so... Where's Xu Feng's love/respect for his brother here?? I find it cringeworthy how fans can love that scene, and find it romantic tbh. The ML (Xu Feng) just annoys the hell out of me, so much with his hypocrisy, and how spoil he was, yet, manipulative when it comes to him using his uncle to tie the red string around their ankle, those fans keeps criticising Run Yu's behaviour when their favourite character is problematic too. Oh, and supposedly, that Xu Feng turning Jin Mi into objects and abuse her with, is "romantic" to those fans eyes too LOL. Honestly, I can go on listing this, but it's not the topic here, so I will stop here.

You can love Xu Feng (ML) for all I care, I don't even want to elaborate in here why I dislike/hate AOL, but you were the one who replied to me about that in your comment, so if this is how you see Run Yu, then we can agree to disagree. Personally, I don't and will never love Xu Feng and Jin Mi, because they are so horribly written that made me cringe, this is why for me personally, I love ALP better, in terms of story and main leads.

The only loveable thing about AOL to me is the 2ML/2FL love story and Run Yu's character. But honestly, overall, I don't understand the love/praise on that show. But alas, I don't expect AOL fans to agree with me here.

My friend just gave me a rating out of 10, between 'ALP' and 'The Legends', since I got him into these two dramas hahaha

ALP = 9/10
The Legends = 7/10

But in terms of pairing, he said he loves both Bai Jue x Shang Gu and Li Chen Lan x Zhao Yao equally.

In terms of characters (ML/FL) and Story as a whole, he told me he loves ALP better. Currently he's re-watching ALP again hahahaha. Well, I am too (the 9th time now)!! Let's see if I can break the record here! 🤣

You know, strangely enough, while I did enjoyed FIYS and was catching onto each episodes while it was airing, when it ended, I'm like "okay", "back to ALP now" 🤣 I wasn't even bothered by that ending too, seeing how I wasn't a fan of the pairing (Tong Yao and Lu Si Cheng), if I was then yeah, I would have wanted it to be better hahaha, but since I wasn't that invested in it, I was like "oh okay" hahaha. I won't spoil it for you, but it's a happy open ending(not a conclusive one though), you can see for yourself when you watch it. When I finished "And the Winner is Love", I was happy with that ending, but still went back to re-watching it, so if you're asking me, between FIYS and And the Winner is Love, I love And the Winner is Love better. But I honestly did love Xu Kai in FIYS, like I said, he practically carried the whole show for me, I also love ZGDX too, each member is loveable, I think my second favourite male character would be K (I think is his name), he's also the actor that played in ALP, not sure if you noticed 😂

Yeah, that part where Zhao Yao gets back her body took forever, definitely draggy, so I didn't like it on my end. But when Mo Qing (Xu Kai's character) found out and realized it's her, it's not so bad, still in terms of plot/story it is definitely draggy for me, in the Legends. Yeah, there's definitely plot-holes, and questions that make you confused after watching the ending 🤣😅 I actually have to rely on a video and someone to explain to me to see what exactly happened, because it's THAT confusing!!!!! 🤣😅 Watch on Viki when you feel ready to watch it. Although I definitely recommend, And the Winner is Love over The Legends though. You won't be disappointed with And the Winner is Love, since Yunxi is so charismatic in that one <3

When you do end up watching And the Winner is Love, yeah, tell me what you think of it ^^ ALP is the way to go, although my feelings for that ending being unsatisfying, and wishing Jing Zhao bitch gets a better punishment, but aside from that, I do love ALP alot hahaha <3

So you finally see what I mean now huh? 😅 Good to know that I am not alone in this, although others have also pointed out, but they didn't say anything until I made a comment about it with my honest opinions ahahaha then they agree 😅 Cheng Xiao definitely have a lot of improvement on her end, she failed to show me her emotions of 'being in love', like honestly more than half the times, I felt like she's just awkward, I don't see her 'in love' phase the way Lu Si Cheng was able to show me, I mean, does it hurt her to express her 'in love' self more like she's in love??? Like when she's alone etc. I get the public she wants to keep it private, but when they are alone, she looks like she doesn't want to be in that relationship, So really from her side of things, it is awkward, and honestly the only reason why I am not a fan of the pairing is because of what she failed to show me on her end. Xu Kai acting in being in character (Lu Si Cheng), is literally what saved this pairing for me, like if I think about how if there's another male actor who acts like Cheng Xiao of not being able to express their love, then it will really be the most awkward pairing ever 😅 She really doesn't show me much expressions of how she expresses her 'in love' with Lu Si Cheng to be honest, so yeah, definitely needs room for improvement when it comes to the pairing chemistry for her in expressing her love/in love phase. I don't hate the actress, but just being honest here. Like if it is not said they are a couple, and if Lu Si Cheng does not expresses his adoring love for her, and they doing couple things i.e. kissing, then you can literally take it that it's Lu Si Cheng one sided crush, and she sees him as a friend, which makes me feel sorry for Lu Si Cheng hahaha, so yeah, in the end, while I like the pairing (all thanks to Xu Kai's great acting), but I am not a fan and I didn't fangirl on the pairing(because of how Cheng Xiao can't show me her in love emotions, and she needs to express this better, because it does make it awkward coming from her side of things). To me, definitely Bai Jue x Shang Gu and Qing Mu x Hou Chi all the way!!!! hahahaha😂

When I see the CQL and Wangxian (MDZS Donghua) I was like "OMG!!! HOORAY for the Wangxian (MDZS love) and CQL love!!!" no complaints here.

Except with FIYS, I don't fangirl on the pairing in FIYS like I do with Shang Gu and Bai Jue, so definitely my heart is with ALP Bai Jue and Shang Gu 😂FIYS just felt like something I enjoy watching to pass by my time, but there hasn't been a day when I watch FIYS and don't think about ALP. LOL. Xu Kai is definitely what carried the show for me!! hahaha 😂 If I can like that pair (Tong Yao and Lu Si Cheng), it's only thanks to Xu Kai's great acting in showing me his love/adoration when he's in character, otherwise, with what Cheng Xiao failed to show me, I wouldn't have liked that pairing from her side of things (lol) 😅

This is waaaaaay better than Ashes of Love imo. So I can't relate to your preference here! For me, ML and FL is definitely better in ALP when compared to AOL. I actually think AOL is overrated LOL

Yes indeed! The first arc is the best to me, those who finds it boring, or skipped through it, surely missed out! But then, it's always good to rewatch the drama again once you finished the ending, since you do pick up these details that you might have missed when you first watched it.

I dont know how hahaha. After I finished rewatching from beginning to the end, and seeing how that ending left me unsatisfied, it made me missed the God Realm so much, when everything was so perfect back then, from that ending, I jumped back to watching from episode 1 again(because I love the beginning and the moments from back then, especially how Bai Jue came to love and open up to Shang Gu, not to mention his sweet and adorable traits back then) and since I am rewatching from the beginning again, I just followed through the episodes, and journey again, and then it became a loop for the number of time's I've rewatched it hahahaha 😅😅 although for the 2nd and 3rd arc, I did ff those annoying Wu Huan, Jing Zhao, Mu Guang and Jing Yang scenes since I don't need to watch their annoying blabbering again.

41 is the most painful for me too, but I DON'T blame Bai Jue at all in that episode. He already showed me he did what he did to help Hou Chi on his end.

To me, who I blamed was Wu Huan and Mu Guang! Both Bai Jue and Hou Chi have equally suffered in that episode, I actually felt for Bai Jue when she stabbed him though... :(

Yeah, watch on Viki when you decide to resume The Legends. Definitely recommended, since the editing / pacing in The Legends is really all over the place on the mid-later half of the story. I remember I was so confused and annoyed at how this episode ended, and then the next episode I was like "?????? did I miss something????" What happened???? 😅

I actually don't understand E-sports myself but watching FIYS kinda let me understand it a little. Now I feel like playing Pokemon Unite, since it feels like it's similar to Esports LOL 😅

Whenever you watch it, sure, although I recommend 'And the Winner is Love' >> The Legends hahahahaha since that one you will definitely enjoy it from episode 1, and get you hooked, because I sure did, Yunxi's character is so charismatic from episode 1 already <3

Hahaha, I am only watching Immortality for Yunxi, but from the novel side of things which Immortality is based on i.e. 2HA, from what I've read of the MC, well, from the portion I've read, I don't like the MC Moran😅 So, I was hoping that Immortality will enlighten me of his character, although I do love Yunxi's character in Immortality though, so looking forward to seeing it on my end when it's out. Who knows when it will be.

Oh, talking about this MDZS Donghua S3 will be out this month/soon! So can't wait to watch that! <3

Ummm, hahha, good luck with that😅, someone shared the link to me in here previously, and from the comment/spoiler section and how that person said she didn't like the 'ending' to the novel (for Yuan Qi), got me curious, after reading the comment, and the final chapter, I have to agree... I didn't like the ending on my end for Yuan Qi......But since you're reading the summaries now, I won't spoil it for you, you will find out when they summarized it :/ I do NOT even want to see that bitch Jing Zhao again! Although if she is going to get more punishment, I will so welcome it on my end haha! In Yuan Qi's novel, from what I've gathered, there isn't much moments between Yuan Qi and his parents, since it's based on Yuan Qi's adventures or something, but then I didn't read the entirety of the book, only the final chapter LOL. I don't want to jump into reading something if I don't like the ending so yeah, save myself the pain later 😅 I hope so too, in S2, I do want to see Bai Jue and Shang Gu again!!! But it needs to be Xu Kai and Zhou Dong Yu!!! >.<

The ML is definitely not as good as the 2nd ML, that's for sure, but he's not that bad, hahahaah, I mean I actually think he have more chemistry with Xue Qian Xuan than the FL 😂😂 Deng Wei definitely nailed it in his acting that's for sure! Lol, its not hard to rewatch this 8 times since its finished. And since I watched this in raws, I got a bit of a head start to this.

I watch it in raws. But I did check the subs from dramacool, from time to time, and their subs imo, when looking at the last 3 episodes alone (47-49) is better than Wetv english subs imo.
