Yeah I believe in Jing Yuan's love for Xing Yue back then. I also saw in the trailer as well where she disguise herself as Bai Shuo(I know I will be so annoyed when that happens), but I am looking forward to Fan Yue seeing through her like in the trailer he pointed the sword at her and said "You're not her, who are you?"

There was a period of time where he lost his memories and he's not pretending(that was during the Outlanders(Yi) Arc.

If you are referring to his memories of the past, then he definitely do not have memories of it as well so he is not pretending.

I don't know which episode you're up to but ARP acting convinced me he is a good actor in the later half of the drama.

But I love his acting already since the beginning.

The turtle master said to BS at the beginning that everyone here said she is a goddess that have lived for a very long time. And that she's waiting for her "lover" from 60,000 years ago to return.

Then the next scene jumped to

FY asking that bitch who she is, and what is her relationship with Jing Yuan.

She have explained to FY that since ancient times, 100 years of accompanying Jing Yuan, did you really forget about it all? (And she refer to herself as Xing Yue) in that scene...

At the end, I think that looks like a flashback scene... she said to Jing Yuan, meeting you, loving you, is the most happiest thing that happened to me.

My take on this, I think it is her unrequited love for Jing Yuan and Jing Yuan doesn't feel that way for her... because he loves Xing Yue

In the official trailer, she said she will take everything away from "her"(Xing Yue/Bai Shuo), and that just shows that she's a greedy bitch, where she will go as far as "disguising" herself as Bai Shuo(Xing Yue)

I dont know how I will feel about this "greed" arc but I already am annoyed at her.

But I still believed in Fan Yue(Jing Yuan) love for Bai Shuo(Xing Yue). Guess we will have to see how this turns out.
