Good that you can read Chinese - sadly, I can't :(.... Will try looking for it but maybe after YAMG. Chasing after airing drama is so tiresome.... I don't even have the interest to look at other dramas before finishing this uncompleted business....

I can understand if they speak basic Mandarin (s-l-o-w-l-y...) but avoid dramas without english subtitles in order to do them justice while watching. Just like the drama Hello Debate Opponents S1. I kinda enjoyed watching it with my daughter who's into debate even though the cast was relatively unknown then. Thankfully it has english subs or else I would have given it a miss.

Reading posts by both of you seems like inside scoop to me cos I really don't seem to see it anywhere else. Thanks for sharing though I think I'm being such a busybody over celebrities' life that shouldn't even concern me. It does make an interesting read compared to those current depressing news of the pandemic, war and countless conspiracy theories.

Dunno if i've been influenced by shippers but I really do not see them treating each other as siblings. But I feel it's a wise move by Reba if she was against the kiss scene in the drama (I do not feel the drama is lacking because of it - just hated the fact that they have so little screen time).
Getting all the hate just for a simple kissing scene in a drama is just not worth it.

I haven't really shipped any western couples before after watching their movie. As for drama, the only ones I remember following for each season were Criminal Minds, The B from Apartment 23 and Supernatural. Not being judgemental, but western dramas seems to have too much promiscuity and it doesn't sit well with me so I don't really watch after that.

In your case, maybe you should stop reading comments/reviews here and just focus on watching (if you have yet to drop it). I find that sometimes if we read too much our expectations will be set too high and then when it doesn't live up to what we expect, we'll be disappointed. Do try Ep 13-16, then 20 onwards if you only want to watch the romance parts and how it begins. If watching on WeTV, fast forward and only read subs to ensure you at least know what's happening.

Yes. Everyone should give Gu Man a shout out. If both of them really do end up together in real life, she deserves a big red packet for ensuring what she visualise in the book come to life on the screen and in reality. Hahahaha...

That's crazy shipping right there lol.... This person would probably check out apps where they combine pics to come up with pics of what their babies would like like. I read that such app exist.

King's Avatar is more on e-sports and focused on teamwork as well. I was surprised I love it despite me not being a gamer or e-sports enthusiast. There's no romance in that drama. Do give it a try if you have the time to watch. A few songs in the drama is good too.

If you're curious about all the hype and excitement over this drama while you find that it bores you, maybe try watching clips on youtube (if you don't mind spoilers). That's what I usually do before I really give up.

After all, don't really know them personally and well aware that the characterics they portray whether on- screen/off-screen may be different from what public perceived.

I've been watching quite a number of kdramas and chinese drama. Honestly, have not really felt like shipping a drama couple to the extent that I wish they're together in real life except for TLB and YAMG (Chinese drama) and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim - did not watch Crash Landing On You so can't comment (Korean). Because the looks and expressions seems so real as if they're really into each other.
The intimate kissing scenes blows your mind away even though they're fully clothed and makes me feel like I'm invading their privacy.
When watching other dramas, I may enjoy the couple's interactions but after that I wouldn't even think of shipping them together in real life.

Me too. Probably because of the outrage i felt towards the anti-fans trying to sabotage the production team's efforts in making this great drama.
