Would love to punch Shi Qianlu in the face. What right does he have to get angry and act like someone stole his…
This actor has spent an extensive amount of time at the VAUDEVILLE SCHOOL OF ACTING which is causing me to ff through most of his scenes. It is too over the top.
I'm only on episode 9 - thinking of dropping it. ML's acting is amazing but the FL can't act, especially when…
Slack face, eyes open like a deer in the headlights, just reciting her lines and weak as a kitten plus dumb as rocks, what more do you want from a FL? lol who does this girl know in the industry to even be cast?
Another family massacre, FL out for vengeance but incapable of critical thinking, rash and dumb as a bag of rocks. Of course, she has two men who will pursue her as she has good looks. The men are as dumb as she is. How many times does this same storyline have to be regurgitated? Lack of any originality in most dramas. It is boring.
Clearly meant to be comedic but just comes off as amateurish and ridiculous. Four equally silly women pursuing him thrown into the mix Gave it a chance through four episodes but just too poor quality for me.
As usual FL is dumb in these type of dramas need the ML to rescue, talk somesense to her stupid impulsive actions…
These female revenge short form dramas are nearly all the same. The FL “thinks” she’s smart and capable but in fact she needs the ML to bail her out and save her over and over again. I can never really understand the ML’s continued interest in such a FL, smh.
There are also SF’s where the FL gets cheated on by ML and he lives to regret it (lol how often does THAT happen in rl). Then the abusive ML who mistreats the FL physically and verbally but she still falls for him. They probably have five storylines they make over and over again. I’ve seen SO MANY that I only watch when I’m bored or see an actor that I’d like to check out. I can’t honestly say long form is significantly better with all the repetitive tropes but every now and then there are some very good ones. The actors are also more experienced or just have a natural talent for acting.
I think of these short dramas like screen tests and a way for actors to get noticed. The story is recycled over and over with some small variables. It is definitely the way to create product on the cheap. Unfortunately, for the majority of actors that show up in these they can’t move past it to long form dramas. It is interesting that they can’t even move up to supporting roles in long form dramas. They seem to get stuck. Perhaps they can’t get agencies to back them and they don’t have any industry connections.

Waste of time.
