Meh, FL does not embody the character at all making the whole story implausible. She neither looks the part of a seductress (more like a lost waif playing dress up) nor capable or competent as someone seeking revenge. Feels more like a screen test for her. Fail
I don’t know what it is exactly but I just dislike the FL character. It’s nice to have a different storyline for a change and DGZ is doing great as always but I just can’t understand his interest in her at all. I don’t find her appealing but I’ve come this far so I’ll check out the ending.

It seems the ML is now saying he misunderstood her and wants to start over their relationship. After FOUR YEARS and pretending the other woman is the one he loves and cares about. REALLY? FOUR YEARS? No, that is ridiculous. No going back. Let him die for her! Who cares? I hope you are right! Let me know! I too will probably just watch the last episode.

Makes zero sense plus why wouldn’t one go back and think over who was around her father/family/herself all this time. The plot is unraveling quickly in an effort to reach a conclusion.
I was laughing when they go looking for GAO Shan Shan (the murderous criminal who is desperate) and go to the derelict building and You You is wearing tight black pants, fitted leather jacket and yes, tall spiky heel boots! Yep, CDrama level fashion and looks before reality. It’s no wonder people in China are obsessed with designer everything. Modern dramas are full of ads and product placement for designer attire. Truth is if she actually ran after him down the stairs and into the street she would have done more damage than twisting an ankle.
Her instructing the computer whiz girl how to search for the money was hilarious as well. This girl has been and should be far better versed in electronic investigation than her. Well, got to fill the episodes with something even if it is nonsensical junk that insults the viewers intelligence.
Too bad for the actors who are doing a good job. The story was going well but they have gotten sloppy.
Wow this is terrible all the way around. Script/plot/acting. The characters are not appealing at all. The FL is not likable imo and absolutely doesn’t reflect the ML’s supposed interest in her. Apparently, this is only worth watching if you have a crush on the ML/actor. Pass

Yes, there is more leeway with some formats including short form dramas. It is ridiculous to me that they want things both ways. Pure non-physical non sex before marriage in long form and S&M with physical and mental abuse in most of the short form. It is hypocritical and ridiculous oversight of a product that is meant to be artistic expression in the first place
I can understand rating a product for content for specific age groups but this IDK. Then there is encouraging grown adult women to act and talk like five year olds while dressing in revealing clothes (modern dramas) to project “innocence”. It feels kinda creepy to me. I steer clear of most of those dramas as my patience is limited., lol!
Meh. Lackluster. Two years pass before they marry? Why? Then she initiates it? If I wasn’t trying to read subtitles I would fall asleep. Still I FF through much of the last five episodes just to finish. Anti climactic to say the least.

The story is absolutely ridiculous and the FL will prove to be a sap completely opposite to her now accomplished demeanor. One would be very mentally unwell to return to the ML after four years of abuse and degradation. The parts that are supposed to be funny like the step brother are not and I laugh at the parts that are meant to be serious. Much of the support character acting is also over done and high school drama level. Next
