FL has already proven herself so what is the problem? It is completely illogical for the mom to continue trying to control the FL and ML’s relationship. What is so special about TEN years to the EXACT day? One month short makes a difference?

FL is a fool. There is integrity and keeping your word and then there is being a fool and a tool. FL is the latter. Not to mention who would agree to such a “pact” for ten years? This is NOT ADMIRABLE or NOBLE. It is being a doormat with no self-respect. It defies logic that such a FL who had purportedly matured and become a strong and capable businesswoman would interact with the mother as a doormat. Not to mention not disclosing the arrangement to the ML.
Even if the mother still has a stupid underlying reason for her behavior (such as she was once in love with FL’s father and he dumped her and married someone else…. so she is taking out vengeance on the FL…..or some similar plot twist…..typical cdrama made up nonsense) it still makes no sense that the FL would be such a tool while being smart and capable. She is in her 30’s, not 20’s!!! Has she never thought about why this woman would really do this to her for such a long time? Financially helping with the ill father doesn’t equate to ten years of servitude in the modern world.

I find it fascinating how well a soldier like Zong Qing and his wife can live. Nice apartment (rivals the older married military couple with two incomes), take-out food all the time as Princess can’t bother to learn to cook, International trips (wherein she is outfitted with all the latest hiking apparel and accessories plus complete camping gear), shopping trips etc.. and all on ONE soldiers income. Now she is pregnant…did she use birth control at all? She’s complaining and her bestie is defending her left, right and center and berating Zong Qing. WTH? Perhaps Zong Qing should tell Princess to hire a full-time nanny since they have so much money or Daddy and Mommy can pay for one since they raised such a useless human being (oh but smart enough and well-off enough for med school but knows nothing about birth control).

People can rate as they wish. The issue with MDL is allowing ratings for unaired unreleased episodes. They should be pulled and the accounts tagged/blocked from rating. Those are the “haters”. Just because you dislike the rating doesn’t mean these are “haters”. If only favorable ratings were allowed then what is the point of the ratings at all? The opposite problem exists as well, wherein sycophants and fandoms rate everything 10/10. Overall, everyone has freedom and choice here and it is clear the ratings are often meaningless so why bother bringing it up again and again.
I must say this has become so tiring and boring, I ff through 26 & 27. I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t really care about any of the characters especially the FL. I couldn’t care less if she lives or dies. I will wait until the rest of the episodes are out and check the ending only because I’ve invested so much time. The dramas of late just have held no long term interest for me. The quality overall just seems to be down for months now and I can’t finish them.
It’s a shame Zong Qing gained a child to take care of instead of an adult woman. I’m not blaming Yang Yang for not knowing how to do things like cook but she isn’t even trying at all and she is just plain ridiculous. That cooking eggs scene with her get up was way too over the top. Her mom could teach her, why doesn’t she ask?
