I see people doesn't follow much weibo on this page... Xiao Zhan mentioned in his latest interview on Sweet Tasks a couple days ago that this year he will have 3 dramas broadcasting (if everything goes well as he said) one of which is The Wolf. Of course the year is long, but is still encouraging that he confirmed the broadcast news.
Just a personal consideration: Due to the epidemic crisis running in China at the moment all the TV Shows and Dramas/Movies filming has been suspended to prevent contagion. This might come in handy for us, as the entertainment industry being in shortage of shows and with the huge population constrained inside their homes, The Wolf is already filmed and ready to broadcast. It can be launched on the market any moment to cover the lack of shows and to keep people entertained at home. Just a thought.

Quite popular. It was one of those dramas that had ban issues due to reincarnation/time traveling theme, but because of Xiao Zhan's huge popularity gained after The Untamed, the producers managed to bring it out from the closet and broadcast it. Although Xiao Zhan is only a small appearance towards the end, it has a great importance in the drama, hence his fans all was looking forward to watch it so the drama trended on weibo for a while at its debut. Also, once the drama aired and the hype for XZ calmed down, everyone agreed that the drama is highly worth watching, with or without Xiao Zhan in it. I recommend it if you didn't watched it yet.
