I read somewhere it’ll ease the work conditions for the actors & crew! It’s been full on jumping from one season to the next- by the time season 3 is done airing, they would’ve done over a year of work (incl. the prep time just before season 1 started)

i've got a feeling je ni's dad is going to be a wiiiild one! i'm not sure he's too happy he had to go to prison for JDT, and i wonder how much he's heard of what's happened when he was inside. it'll be interesting to see how he reacts when he's heard about je ni being bullied and i'm sure he'll try to get ma ri out of prison! excited to see how his relationship with JDT is expanded next seson!

ugh JDT used his daughter as an excuse to hide behind how he wanted to kill BR. i'm still not convinced with his reasoning and he's just one hella big baddie!

that was an epic twist about HYC- irony at its highest when he realised what he did! so much for protecting your children when you couldn't protect the one who 'died'.

it'll be interesting to see if any of the parents will be willing to team up with JDT again or whether he'll be the main villain at all!

i think it might be a MDL thing, where reviews are released on the day of viewing & it doesn't matter on the time the finale is aired. (honestly it's a historic thing, people review the show early on but it's not 'visible if that makes sense!)

ikr it's so sad :( i was looking forward to a ro na & je ni reunion- not quite as planned. looks like the twins have got ro na's back (well seok gyung is kinda dragged in by her brother lol, but tbh she can't hate ro na now that SSR her mum is back! and the fact JDT is now in prison!) however i trust that SSR will look after rona well.

when you get a chance to watch the finale, i recommend you do because it's a nice bit of editing! essentially JDT got a life sentence and OYH got I think ~ 3 years (SSR spoke out and she showed 'redemption' for her crimes) and the hera club got various years between them.

what was the icing on the cake was they got the estate land bribery malarkey charged on top of their MSA escapades!

JDT is certainly planning his way out, and season 3 will either be another time skip or the hera club will find a way to come out early.

yeah OYH admitted her crime and as a result SSR showed evidence of the hera club admitting their crimes in making MSA's death look like suicide (it's a flashback to the epic episode in season 1 where SSR gets them talking on the bus!)

je ni & min hyuk essentially 'blame' ro na & her mum. their reasoning is if it was OYH who killed her why on earth drag their parents down too? sadly it also means OYH's relationship with ma ri has broken too...

it's a great bit of foreshadowing into season 3 as whose parents will be vs. whose!

Binge it! I’ve just finished binge watching it & the super fast pace means you’ll get through it quick!

The twins helped bae rona move back in. Sadly je ni & bae Roma’s friendship has broken as je ni & minhyuk blame her mum for killing min seola and dragging their parents to jail (although let’s be real they made the choice to cover it up). Eun byeol needs saving from the creepy obsessive maid but that’s another season for you!

Honestly as I watched I was like oh no it’s gonna explode! And bam it’s bye bye logan

Justice is finally served with Hera club in prison, eun byeol is under the creepy maid’s control (lol logan should vet his workers), Queen SSR reclaims her rightful place in penthouse, new characters are shown & JDT is planning his escape.

Oh and they decided to rob SSR’s happiness by blowing up logan but that’s penthouse for you ;)

Finale observations:
- that was the noisiest law scene ever lol! so satisfying seeing them face justice
- save eun byeol. omg she needs to be punished for slashing at bae rona but that maid is too creepy
- finally je ni’s dad is baaaack and stirring some mischievous tricks
- my heart hurts at the broken friendship of bae rona & je ni :(
- yaaass to queen shin soo ryun coming back to penthouse
- there’s always time for a quick sponsored nescafe ad ;)
- seok gyung’s fashion is on point & her bad ass one liners

And lastly...
- rip logan. I liked you more in the first series but even tho penthouse works on a strict no body no death policy, safe to say he’s been blown up into smithereens
- I just want shim soo ryun to be happy but we can watch another badass season of revenge hahaha

Honestly I think the penthouse could’ve ended before logan gets blown up but I gladly indulge into another season! Come on June!

Moment of greed and old ways sunk back in... although I have my hopes once je ni’s dad catches wind, all hell will break loose on the hera club!

Eugene posted on Instagram with the episode 13 script in her hands! Although it remains to be seen how much she’ll feature in the final episode. Having said that, no one in Penthouse really dies unless we see a dead body, an autopsy and cremation/ burial! It’s soo much of a risk to kill one of the leads permanently too- they managed to bring back SSR so I’m sure OYH will be back :)

i was thinking this! ngl a huge part of me would indulge into more episodes because i love the penthouse so much. however chances are JDT can worm his way through things and mari's husband has yet to make an appearance. anything can happen in this show

when i said 2021 will be the year of sageuks, i had no idea it would actually be the year of problematic sageuks! there's more drama in the BTS than in the dramas themselves!

Honestly the acting is spectacular and we end up getting this multi dimensional antagonist. Have to say she’s had it coming with all the crap she’s pulled
