I get where you’re coming from and empathise with you!
I enjoyed the series because I’ve not watched the webtoon. I hear it’s way more expansive and because of the differences too im keen to give it a go :)
no matter what, this is a bad adaptation of the webtoon. the way they went on government conspiracy route again…

The first half can seem like a clunky cgi mess but I urge you to stick at it because the second is almost impeccable. It builds up on the characters and relationships built, whilst packing a punch with heavy action and emotional scenes.
honestly stick with it- it does get better as it progresses. it does have a clunky setup but it is a long drama, so how the plot unravels is at a different pace to your usual 16 eps drama.
get to know the characters a bit more, and prepare for some heartfelt scenes too!
Sure this wasn’t perfect but there were some good scenes, and the plot kept me watching to find out.
I know I’m in the minority here but even though things got messy towards the end, I found myself having a much better viewing experience than some other dramas that have aired this year.
For example, sadly More Than Friends wore me out. It’s a matter of personal taste.
I love Jang Hye Jin and I wouldn’t mind watching a spin off of her experiences as a mother & how it shaped towards her becoming the director. I’d watch her ‘origin story’!
This was refreshing a watch and one of the best series of 2020. humour was excellent in highlighting the struggles mothers face and the prejudice society has. 10/10
This is definitely not signal lol. Yes they have the phone as a link to the past but this ain’t for the faint hearted. Man I’ve still got heart palpitations after finishing it 10/10.
Exactly ! It's a refreshing drama from all the other cliches. Underrated
I struggled to get into it at first but this is a perfect example of taking one simple idea and executing it well! It exudes its own charm and honestly faring better than some other airing dramas atm.
Honestly this is by far one of the most interesting dramas this season! So addictive to watch!
It’s like the most watched drama in Korea currently! I think they planned a season 2 before it aired but with the amazing ratings it’s cemented another season! I can’t believed how entertained I am watching this haha. It’s way more spicy than a couple of bland ones airing atm and I’m so glad I stuck with this
