It was around 8.4 or so but it significantly decreased by the same reason you pointed out, they squeezed in a…
Thank you for your response! I’m watching penthouse atm and already my heart is going at 100mph each episode lol so I’ll save it for after penthouse ends.
I feel like KDJ was meant to feature more in the last couple of weeks' episodes if it weren't for his COVID situation. It feels odd with his absence because the main couple development feels less organic?
Wow 2020 sure is full of polarising dramas... i'm a sucker for a mystery series, so i'm going to give this one a go! Interesting how they manage to squeeze in 17 episodes, which seems to be a random number.
Does anyone know how the ratings did when this aired?
I think this is a drama better off binged because I'm not following the plot super well. It doesn't start to connect…
I had similar struggles with the pacing of the recent episodes too. 1-8 have been a great watch however. I’ve got big hopes for it coming together in the second half!
I feel like this is more of a dark parody of TWOTM & SC because this is taking all those makjang qualities and taking it to the extreme. This ain’t half hearted folks.
I’m liking this a lot more than I thought I would. Honestly it’s refreshing to see a bit more complication than your average drama fluff. Like it injects a bit more realism in how our main leads are dealing with it:
Joon Soo feeling insecure even though he’s with Woo Yeon. Woo Yeon finally coming to terms with her one sided love but nervous nonetheless. Lee Soo dealing with the harsh reality of timing and maturity.
I’m liking the fact we aren’t straightaway seeing things fall into place because people & relationships are way more complicated than we like to admit. Let’s see how this one plays out.
LoL tbh I think this is better than TKEM but still both are not worth watching. Tkem was badly written from 1st…
I think the fatal flaw of both is its inability to stick to one rule or at least a basic foundation of time travel or parallel dimension rules. Changing it up for the sake of the romance or melo plot you want to shoehorn in does not work- as we’ve seen here.
Absolutely on same page with you and viewers who enjoyed the journey. I like thrillers, time travel and sci fic…
It’s great to see them trying something different and it seems to have done well ratings wise in Korea. I know they base a lot on ratings so I hope this doesn’t stop them from making more sci fi shows on the future. It can only get better!
I like the show too and appreciate that this is one of the 3 shows that kept me interested as the year 2020 ends.
I’m so torn over how to rate this. I had a similar experience with Born Again, where despite how these dramas have ended it hooked me with its premise AND kept me watching EACH week. I stuck with it and there’s so many I drop or put on hold because it ain’t captivating me.
Sure they aren’t always perfect (neither are all my faves) and I have my frustrations but seem too much to let it destroy my overall experience or entertainment value.
It’s interesting seeing how we’re responding to it all.
Although I don't totally get the ending...I mean, just trying to make it all fit sends my brain into a tizzy,…
I agree, the cast was incredible and excellently created some impactful emotional scenes. Hard to do considering how hugely inconsistent the show and writing has been. The cast have done well.
a) JG didn’t exist in this reseted world (he shouldn’t following the lines of the finale that everyone forgot him/ time travel didn’t exist in ‘this’ world so he was never born.
b) THEY JUST LET THE JG TY SHIP SAIL AWAY TO OBLIVION!!
Dare I say the parallel worlds theory in TKEM made more sense than this mismatched time travel world fusion?! And TKEM hardly set the bar high in that regard...
I’d happily watch a spin off series where each of the freedom fighters protect a village each & we see the four musketeers + honorary fifth one joon ho find missing people. Make that 4 extra seasons lol
Sounds like a good one to pass the time.
But then who knows with this unpredictable crazy script lol

Correct me if I’m wrong are both from SBS?!
