For the survival of mankind, I agree. ;-D

First time watching something with Lee Min Ho and it's really not giving me a good feeling about him. It seems…
Pas si nul que ça, mais bon... I don't like too this writer, and Goblin is my favorite boring nightmare drama. In TKEM, after some analys of the script : there is no real flaw about logic, even if for now, it's too early to say that about all, but I was surprised. I've already been to much upset about this writer in the past, so now I'm much more peacefull and curious. In the past she writed some good drama, like "secret garden", "on air".

lol yeah they sound generic but I love OST part 5 "I Fall in Love" Ha Sung Woon, it reminds me of DOTS for some…
Unfortunately I don't like this song either. I classify it as "optimistic songs", but nothing original.
Three successful examples of this kind of song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S97Qryt1kfY

I heard a song in the drama, with an interesting classical guitar intro, but I can't find the OST.
I think I'll end up liking one or two OST songs after hearing them more during the drama.

This one:

There's a whole passage so similar to this:

Except the Hotel Del Luna song is much better and more original.

TE - What happens ?
LG - Two parallel worlds.
TE - Damn, no joke here. And why me ?
LG - Time travel plot on top of that. Look at your ID card, it's 25 years old.
TE - Geez... And what is this place?
LG - A supernatural place where time is different, with a pillar of light.
TE - And a balloon.
LG - Yes, a red balloon, like at the carnival.
TE - The perfect place to plant seeds. (drops seeds)
LG - You plant the seeds just by dropping them on the ground?
TE - It doesn't matter in this kind of place. Anything else to add?
LG - I have an enemy that never gets old.
TE - Woo! How does he do that?
LG - He's got a piece of flute created by lightning in a tree.
TE - Oh yeah, obvious... But don't you have the second piece of flute?
LG - Yes, I do.
TE - Then why are you getting old?
LG - Probably because of Euler's number, according to Einstein's laws of relativity and quantum physics + a packet of 0 and 1.
TE - Huh? Einstein was against quantum theories.
LG - Doesn't matter, it's MY Einstein in MY parallel universe. He's also a pastry chef, a rowing champion, a sniper and a professional basketball player, just like me. Besides, I remind you that your character is not supposed to know that.
TE - Ah yes, it's true, the earth is flat.
LG - Don't move now.
(KISSSSS)
TE - Get undressed now.

This drama has a cult feel to it. There are so many moments that can be parodied.

- You love me.
- Huh? Why that?
- I'm the King.

- This horse is called John Henry Charles Maximus.
- Woo !
- And it's a girl.

They can breathe even if it's mysterious. The hero evokes the subject and thinks that the area of limbo has different physical laws. That's not put under the rug. There are relatively few logical errors in this drama. Even the fact that the heroine had little money. I was mistaken, it was actually intended. I was more blamed for the confusion generated by a poor presentation of information and a pace that was too slow, or without a clear plot.

OST songs are so bad. No originality. Soup that's already heard, ultra mainstream. The chord lines are cut and pasted from other songs from other dramas.
I hope that new songs will appear and that there will be at least one good one in all of this.

I'm not totally feeling the vibe of this drama but at the same time i can't stop watching it either -_-
Same. It's bad, but there is enough good points to keep me watching. I'm curious to see if the writer do some good plot with all stuff of exposition, or if it will be just lame in the end. I bet on the last, so I prefer and won't be disapointed.

It still TRENDING on Netflix at 4th place. So haters dont be sad .....haters are still confused why it is still…
You got it all wrong!
This writer's previous dramas were very bad, and yet they were very well ranked. I was very surprised that this was not the case for this drama. I observed that the drama was slightly better than her previous ones. Maybe that was why the ratings were not as good. A real blockbuster drama in bad taste has theoretically good ratings. It's supposed to be of a coarse quality designed to appeal to the masses. The lowest common denominator.

Also: she is a cop, surrounded by armed guards, and the first idea is to aim a gun at the King?:-D
It is not a problem with the explanation, it is obvious and it is said. But the method she uses makes no sense. What cop in the world would do something so stupid and dangerous? That's more than enough reason to get shot without warning...

It's just a trick by the writer to get the audience's attention. She uses that kind of trick in descendant of the sun. Very hackneyed, no logic.

It's still better than Goblin!
Anyway, it's hard to do worse...

The negativity this drama is getting on this site is frustrating .
I see a lot of people complaining about negativity, but I haven't had a chance to read a negative comment yet...

Why doesn't the King give her enough money for a taxi, or a private phone number?
The only rational explanation: because otherwise he couldn't come to her rescue unannounced by helicopter. :-D
To add other elements to the complete lack of logic of this situation: the King's bodyguard stalks the heroin everywhere. So he can see that she is in trouble, and could have sounded the alarm. But............No. T T

read my "Goblin" review if you want a good laugh about this. ^^

Man to man wasn't good drama.
As for Goblin, the only person I could advise on this is my worst enemy.
The most boring drama imaginable, devoid of any plot. Childish characters, no humor. I don't call the forced, childish agitation of the characters "humour". Totally artificial, consisting essentially of filler from episode 2 to episode 13. Even if the drama was summed up in a 2-hour film, it would still be boring.
I rather advise people to watch Empress Ki since they have time to deal with 51 episodes.

Thanks for your review.
I was afraid that the script was bad, because this happens regularly for dramas adapted from a manhwa. The main thing that could be fun was a gifted actor, able to have cat-like attitudes.
Not taking a fantasy situation seriously and logically is the worst thing. A lot of comedy scenes could have taken place if the cat had difficulty getting used to his life as a man. Just like the mermaid character in "Legend of the blue sea".
If you saw the drama "Master Sun", there is a comedy scene in the last episode, where the female lead is possessed by a cat. I'm sure she's much more talented. The scene is only 5 minutes long, and it was very good.
