Ep 12 contest of zhixing & his team was so fine! reminded me of one of my fav The double's contest of FL's teammates.For some reason I've started to get attached to Marquis of pingjin's character.
I became even fonder of the strange squad of 4, zang hai zhixing shilei & Guan feng, i hope Antu gets included in their team soon...Zhang jingyi's role should flesh out more,Xiang Antu is a Minimalized character so far, looks like just a visual Relief among the overall tension.

Ahhh LOVED the scene of This two beside fireworks in front of Lady shen's digged remains..A Proper development of how they're now becoming allies. The dialogues of their conversation and the Portrayals both are so perfectly done.💯
Ep 10 zhinu setting up traps in the ancestral hall to kill marquis was way too unhinged haha they even showed…
yeah sadly,I'm already seeing it being unsafe (already pissed off at the other irrelevant reply but decided to ignore 🤷♀️) there's always that one good way to block but ignoring is another way, lan zhan's "You're not qualified to talk to me" is still fresh in my mind haha (will eventually block if needed)
Obviously the direction is solid,this director is one of the most well known recognized directors of china.... i have a thing for 榫卯 so the idea of geomancy here is Cool, but by far the process of development of revenge has been weak, escaping by luck is my least fav trope, i kept questioning myself why 10 years of planning only to start from the Bottom line! then this idea came into my mind that maybe the people who were safekeeping zhinu and gave him lessons to take revenge were actually doing it for their own sake,not his..they never got the 'thing' for which the family was massacred,so maybe they thought they'll find a way to get it back by keeping the only surviving member close to them?this are all my guess though, will see what happens later,but i certainly do not like that Lead character is passive here in a revenge thriller of his own! At least till now he is! (Acting is good so Hopefully i can overlook the characterization )...

Ep 10 zhinu setting up traps in the ancestral hall to kill marquis was way too unhinged haha they even showed his imagination of marquis getting shot with that mechanism 😅😭 i was in panic for a sec in the thoughts what i'd be watching for 30 episodes if he dies or zhinu gets exposed now,although i was sure it Won't happen any soon haha....the masked man is creepy, Don't tell me he'll be a villain later?that would make the whole script a big mess for me. So far, storyline is average but the execution is okay. going forward with ep 12 now.

i just read the extra chapter 1 from the novel and it gave me a complete closure of the story....such a well written thing :) now i understand why it got so many adaptations :)
