yeah lots of sensual scenes & the drama itself (except the ending) was good as well...romantic scenes director shot in The Forbidden Flower were too much intimate for the censor board that almost half of it got cut 🤣 the compiled deleted scenes were released later and i think that had a record of views or something haha...the chemistry of leads was on fire in the drama, director's mood setting & style was noticeable

Ahhh so I'm not the only one who's getting a Boss & Me vibe from this drama !!! They're very different but something in every other episode of SOM somehow reminds me of that drama!! Boss & Me was the first ever cdrama i watched many years back,i loved it so so much...! i entered cdramaland with Gu man's story,& i think i watched all live adaptations of her works,not a fan of every dramas though, but honestly she writes the best when it comes to character's personal growth & how beautifully a healthy relationship grows & matures!

The Novel is so much FUN to read, specially wei wuxian's monologues make me laugh & swoon Everytime! When he first woke up in Mo Xuanyu's body, MXY was already considered as a lunatic, i couldn’t stop laughing at this lines... "When it came to outrageous behaviour, wei wuxian was an expert.In the past,he'd had to maintain some form of decorum so people couldn’t accuse him of having a poor upbringing, but now he was a lunatic anyway, so why'd he care for shame?he could go wild and cut loose to his heart's content. he went out the main entrance of The Mo manor & strolled around the Mo estate to show his heavily powdered face,scaring innumerous passerby & enjoying Himself while he was at it.He became to understand the joy of being a Madman and was even pleased with the hanged ghost makeup,not wanting to wash it off"
i was laughing out silently in the whole scenes of the initial Mo manor chapters, and i couldn’t stop imagining xiao zhan as WWX, this is usually not a case for me to imagine the live action adaptation actor while I'm reading the original material but this time i just can't help myself. i even took a break after finishing the drama to start reading it in chronological order.

The difference is the target audience, LA was for a mature audience as That involves marriage matters, adult family matters, not anything to do with young love of youth or doesn’t give off a coming-of-age vibe... so target audience wasn’t teenagers or younger generation
