How much of "Minning town" & "This thriving land" vibe does this drama have? i was thinking about planning to start one of these 3 as I've watched none.which one is more recommended?

I want to watch it since forever...so many good old Cdramas to watch in life,so little time

Listening to this ost & Rewatching some fav clips, this is my favourite version of 沧海一声笑 Ever since this drama aired.

While organizing lists for top dramas of 2025, seeing this 'flop' drama in almost all Top charts of 2025, whether cumulative effective views or average views per episode, made me chuckle and smile!
I miss Li chen zhou, Zhao Shirong & Xiao Qui shui, Liu sui Feng, And Shenzhou sworn brothers 😵 Time to Rewatch All the Martial Arts scenes bcz they were EPIC 👌

haha I do not remember anything from this dramaa so i started watching (or Rewatching, bcz technically It's the first ever kdrama i watched) i watched it on tv in my childhood days (back in 2010/11)

So far this is being less Depressive than the original version (not that i want it to be more)
FL actress Isn't really giving me any major feelings about her character.

Anyone who watched it in airing days know how much this drama means to viewers & what a global phenomenon it became right afterwards! i remember in Italy when BWS was attending prada show on June or July 2024, my friend who was on vacation & stayed at the same hotel he did, said at least hundreds of fans were waiting outside the hotel for him & they couldn’t even pronounce his real name but they said they were there for Lovely Runner's seonjae...& how BWS & KHY's fan meetings became basically LR fan meets in japan, Taiwan,Thailand,Philippines.. how National TV channels of south korea were discussing about the success of this drama in every shows possible...whenever i remember how much this drama was loved in every corner of The world among kdrama viewers, i always get nostalgic, the ongoing waiting days,the feels,the vibe,the emotions we felt with the characters are incomparable to anything.

If the ending is dissatisfying, i won’t regret not watching anymore. This has never been on my radar, randomly found it today on IQiYi & started watching, after ep 1 i lost my motivation to go further & went to check it out on Douban. I Nearly choked on my coffee in surprise.
