A good amount of readers actually felt this way Lan zhan was out of character in some of his kissing/ intimate scenes with wei wuxian but i totally found these scenes aligned with his character. People who are binded by 3000 rules since childhood are supposed to be that way in private lol, and only With that one person on earth.For him,he can break his section's rules,receive punishment, ignore the whole cultivation world, goes against his only elder in family and only to him he becomes unpredictable, vulnerable & do these "un-lan" behaviours ever since :p

good to know that. Drama should've put some sense into it, at least making him sit there for the whole time would be more or less logical. As there's a lot of editing issues in recent episodes that already was disturbing, i had to rewind that scene couple of times to make sure it was just after surgery, not 3 months later.
