I think the editing was a lot better in this cdrama compared to others I've seen. In some others I've literally seen episode ending mid blink & mouth movement, & those were tv shows, not cheap webdramas. While I agree the switch from OTP to other couples & scenes etc was not cohesive, this was still much better than the mid movement awkward editing ones I've seen previously.

I watched four episodes & suspect no 3&4 and other possibles you mentioned are definitely spoilery. This isn't just spoilery in terms of characterization but character relationships too.

If they're so anal about factual version of events they should just go read their annals, why cancel a show over it? The show is portraying zombies for god's sake, ofc everyone understands things in it to be FICTION.

She's smart only when it comes to other people like Crown prince, Wu cairen & Qiniang. When it comes to her own matters it still hasn't gotten better till ep 29.

I read a few Chinese comments & they also think the screenwriting is lacking.

The China version is edited differently, so even if it's at ep 32 the scenes are lesser than the 29 eps on viki

It's harder to remind ourselves of that when she showed more smarts as a child than she has after becoming an adult! She grew up in the palace, even if she was sheltered at the court of misfortune its still unrealistic that she grow up into such a foolish person.

Considering that baddie no 1 wanted to rape her & baddie no 2 was a psycho that wanted to kill her to his requirements, I didn't find those 2 instances of clothing changes weird at all.

I followed Elaine the moment I heard her 1 minute ost from Just Between Lovers. Her LP came out in 2018 before her appearance on ICSYV in 2019 & she was easily searchable on youtube so I'd say it's lack of effort on people's part. Been subbed to her channel since 2018.

She also has some collabs with other musicians & performed covers regularly so again it's not like she was so nugu you couldn't find her on sns. She had content.

Yes Elaine is great. She's just as sweet singing in Korean as she is in English. Her music is also very good, I loved it the moment I heard it.
I'm glad Elaine & Stella Jang are finally getting some attention they deserve ; still not nearly enough imo.

Since this is supposed to be a fan girl's guide I thought you'd talk about her education, debut in 2015 with Won't You Stay, how she participated in kpop star s6, how she taught herself guitar, highlight her collabs with Brian McKnight etc & her duet performance with Ha Hyunsang (member of jtbc Superband winner Hopipolla & a ost + solo indie/kpop singer).
She really likes playing games like Overwatch & wanted to do a game ost as part of her bucket list, & she has one game ost now. Besides music she likes watching movies & surfing.
She also did a song for adoption of black dogs & a few other project songs. You can check out her performances on EBS, MBC nanjang, Kbs all that music, OnStage & 100 seconds with dingo music .

Gaho was not a make people gasp singer before his ost for Itaewon Class blew up, & the others you mentioned in your previous comment are all bonafide active kpop stars. Elaine is indie so it'd be more fair to compare her to Fromm , peppertones, Ha Hyunsang, etc whose osts also don't get hyped before release. (Jannabi, Kim Kong Wan of Nell etc get some hype but then they are stars of the indie scene who are popular & kinda mainstream)

There's a book for go princess go so I presume they'll fill in the remaining 8 eps from that. Since SK is likely to include more history in this drama that would also fill up some time.

Rest maybe they'll fill it with girl bonding or date time, or they might do half an episode where the MC is back in 2020, & the og queen gets back who knows.

The writer for Mr Queen is an accomplished writer in their own right, they'll probably enrich it with their own sub plots or imagination.

I haven't seen GPG but since this is a TV drama vs a cheap Web drama I think they'll have enough material to keep us entertained for 20 episodes.

Mdl should list viu in where to watch too. Viu may only be available in Asian countries but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be mentioned. That's 6-7 countries more than kocowa.

Kim Ji Won is too good to be a sidekick to the likes of IU. Same for SSR. Sorry but your dream cast sounds like typecasting.

The novel itself, I've read it & it gets super silly & convoluted towards the end. It's basic set up isn't that good to begin with either. Now Trial Marriage husband is nicely written & coherent. It's similar in the face slapping genre, but 10x better.

1) The FL - IU can't pull off looking like a guy. Amber doesn't act or else she'd be perfect looks wise for Ning Xi.
Somebody like Kim Dami & Lee Joo Young could pull off both girly & naive & the badboy. Hani too could pull it off looks wise but her acting isn't there yet.
Ryu Hwa Young would be a great choice. She is a very good actress, can pull off any look & has good chemistry with everyone.
Esom or Kim Seulgi too. Such phenomenal actresses .

2) The ML - KSH is good but I haven't seen him with kids so I dunno. Now someone like Lee Seung Gi or Lee Joon Ki can pull of shameless & parental & overbearing CEO behaviour.

3) ML Bro - V would fit the role but even hypothetically I don't think he can give dates. Ryu Deok Hwan or Henry or Rowoon could work.

4) SFL - Moon Ga Young or Lee Sae Young for the bishy sister. They can do sweet acting & evil both.

5) SML - I like Kim Woo Bin. Another option could be SSR himself. He's wonderfully versatile.

6) nephew/ex bf - L is fine.

7) The infatuated cousin - Lee Yoo Bi works

8) The ex fiance - Lee Ji Hoon, Yoon Jong Hoon or Park Ki Woong

9) she's fine.

10) The designer - PHS is in the army so Im Siwan or Ji Hyun Woo or Kim Dong Hee.

I am in the middle of episode 1. As soon as I saw the FL I was like she looks like she's 30, & indeed she is (30 in Sept). She looks too mature for a young noble lady. The actual princess, the leads & the other cast all look younger than her.
