Not gonna lie, the fact that her boyfriend didn't even consider her cheating on him a possibility is really heartwarming. The trust in that relationship is incredible
I'm actually only 6 episodes in and the more I watch the show, the more I feel like the editing team is the reason why she seems so mysterious and aloof. I'm thinking that she has been a lot more talkative but just got cut out because they wanted to create a mysterious persona for her.
It does make sense, but I do hope that list won't stress you out and that you are enjoying watching. In my own…
Strangely enough, plan to watch lists don't stress me out at all! So my drama viewing experience is pretty chill. Since I add basically everything I'm even remotely considering watching, the list has dramas that I'm probably never even going to watch.
I know it's technically a happy ending but I think it's bittersweet because I still can't stop thinking of how sad he was to let her go back into her world. Like damn he must have been lonely for the rest of his life until he reincarnated isn't that depressing?
Ah the struggle... It always feels like such a waste of time whenever I'm not working through my ptw list of 560 and instead rewatching a drama. I also have an oddly competitive streak when it comes to watching a lot of dramas so I'm constantly trying to increase my completed dramas list, almost to feel like a "real" kdrama fan if that makes sense.
Some interesting topics, but the relationship between the leads is too toxic for my taste.
I agree lmao but it's kind of why I love this drama. The FL is so different from anything you ever see that I can't help but fall in love with SYJ's performance. The only weird thing is they played it off as a happy ending in the last episode and I sort of wish the drama was a bit more self aware of the toxicity of the relationship. Because toxic relationships are fine as long as they're not normalized, y'know?
I feel like people got mad at Jin Taek for openly flirting after acting like he was committed to Soyeon while Soyeon was just being friendly with everybody and was trying to keep her options open. She wasn’t as explicit about being committed to Jin Taek as he was to her. With that said, I didn’t really like Soyeon that much, but I really appreciated the fact that she wasn’t unhealthily stick thin like the other 3 girls. I’ve had my own struggles with undereating and body image so Korean beauty standards really bother me, especially when they continue to be reinforced by shows like these. I digress though
