Whenever Cheng Xiao is in a drama, there is always all sorts of drama... Poor Xuxu! Was it a smart decision for him to accept to play this role? Now, I don’t know.
One thing that I have to say; I LOVE Yu Zheng‘s reactions to all of the rumors. This is how K’s producers should have reacted against the vicious rumors about him during the filming of I-Land...
This novel is so so so funny. I can not stop laughing at Mo Ran’s idiotic banters. I was worrying about Arthur portraying Mo Ran at first... However while reading the novel, it is clear that they made the right decision by selecting AC for the role. This kid is PERFECT for that role! I can already picture AC doing all these devious shenanigans.
As for the romantic/bromance parts... Well, we will see... Fingers crossed.
How do you rate a modern rom-com drama where the only 2 good things about it were the romance between the main couple and the charming smile of the male lead... Everything else was unneeded, unnecessary and superfluous.
My number 1 question for this drama: What exactly did Kido Gao do to the writer, the director or the producer of this drama to completely destroy his character in the last (Unnecessary/Extra) episodes? This drama had the same finale as “Song of Glory.” Where, the major parts of the plot were OK; until, they added some superfluous episodes that degraded the storyline.
Have u watched The Untamed? Its my top #1 #1#1 dramaaaa
I am reading the novel right now. I agree their decision to change ShiMei into a female character is a cop out decision.
Due to censorship, it is expected to be a bromance with some vague romantic innuendoes. However I do hope, like The Untamed, even without any vivid interpretation of their attraction for each other, the storyline will flow effortlessly.

Now, I am anxiously waiting for Immortality. With fingers crossed... With toes crossed.... Praying to all the gods and deities from all the realms... Hoping they did not mess that Xianxia storyline up too bad.
No worries about Leo, he is perfect for the role. However, my worries are on my baby-boy, Arthur. Based on his last project, kido needs a lot of fine-tunings and improvements. Also, I am not too keen with the revealing and the introduction of the FEMALE love interest. The Untamed had the perfect minimal proportion of love interest’s innuendos from that female character.

And dramas seem to follow her... directly or indirectly.
I am not judging her; I am just stating the reality. Also yes, you are right about this modern drama; it is not her fault this time.
And the dramas around it.
I was so hoping for a smooth release.

That actress just loves strong colored lipstick...
It can not be helped because Xuxu is simply is!
Even when they tried to uglify him like in the Dance of the Sky Empire:)
Fingers crossed, indeed!
In blue!
And finally, they gave him a beautiful flowing wig to wear.
It is a water-down bromance with romantic innuendos; like they did for The Untamed and Guardian.

We don’t get to experience these kind of male lead’s characters very often in DramaLand.

It has all of your expectations PLUS intelligent dry-humors.
Thank you for the 411.
I am trying to read it before the release next year.
