Same thoughts with you. I guess I'd better watch The Lost Tomb 2.
Me, I am waiting for either Viki, Amazon Prime or NetFlix to license it.

I want to watch L&R again on a bigger UltraHD screen.
Those sets of alluring eyes of his need to be watched on UltraHD...

I am not going to touch it again until they pick it up.

You know what... I have the same question.
Why the rating is not 9.5 and moving upward yet?

Come on, people!
This is the best Xianxia drama this year. Even better by far, compared to many from previous years.

Oh my Lord!
I completely went brain-freeze here.

Silly me was thinking that Cheng Yi was playing, Zhang Qiling, the second male lead in Reunion: The Sound of the Providence season 1 and 2.
However, he was only in The last Tomb 2; which was released last year.
I have been waiting for the completion of something; in which, he was not even part of... Dowwww...

Can you tell?
More than a month after the completion of L&R, I am still suffering from the “Si Feng’s After Effects” aka SFAE...
LOL

At first, I don't really understand why everyone is having a problem with the second season. Surely it's not going…
The big difference of appreciation over the 2nd season was not really about the quality of the production...
The new male lead’s fanbase was dead set at giving him recognition for whatever reasons that might have been.

Anyway, I have yet watched that second season. Still, i can not bring myself to do it.

Surprisingly, the third season is scheduled to be released in 2022.
I wonder who is the male lead they are going to choose this time?
I’ll be damned if Arthur Chen comes back for season 3.
HELL No!!!

Me too.
I am about to tackle The Lost Tomb 2.
Hopefully, I will enjoy it.
Usually I enjoy the tomb raider’s genre.

Yeahhhhh...
In K-DramaLand, the sequels or the continuing seasons are more than often not up to par or just plain peculiar.
Example: Voice

L’exception à la règle... Kingdom.
Where the 2nd season was just as fantastic as the 1st season.
That one was produced by Netflix. Maybe this was the reason.

1994 called and they want their drama back. I initially dropped this but I wanted to give it a second chance.…
This drama is so bad that I come to realize maybe that was the result they were aiming for...
From A to Z... Everything is bad.

It’s like watching a train wreck. I should stop watching but I want to know how much of a wreckage; this will end up being.

I would not have minded watching it for Cheng Yi.
However, I can not stand the female lead’s character; let alone her son/juvenile bratty emperor, later in the storyline.

So yes, Promise of Chang'An is a BIG NO for me.

I wanted to watch the Promise of Chang'An, but I couldn't even get through a short trailer. Sifeng and Madam Dongfang?Sorry,…
This is a big NO for me.

I am not going to waste the precious hours of my life watching this utterly absurd tragedy like I did for Royal Nirvana and Goodbye My Princess.

At least in Love and Redemption, the female lead’s character was very much lovable in their 9th lifetime.
However in this tragedy of a drama, the female lead’s character is way too self-centered. I disliked her from the start.

Poor Cheng Yi...
Enough misery with his characters, for one year:(

I did not find Hospital Playlist as good or as funny as Prison Playbook was.

To me, this one had too many cooks in the kitchen... with a lot of old Korean songs.

My favorite remains Prison Playbook.

Well, I hope his character gets more responsive down the line.

So far, there is nothing really interesting about his character.
As you said, it could be bad directing or his acting skills are not really that polished yet.

Oh...
Thanks for the info.
This is the first time that I am watching him in a drama.

Lol
A Grandiose Introduction for a very stale character.

I have never watched Meteor Garden because the whole Boys Over Flower’s genre has never been my cup of tea.
Is this actor, Caesar Wu, always that vapid?
