Chemistry? What chemistry? There was biology but definitely no chemistry...hahaha
I don’t think is about candy boy looks or pairings. Her features, body type and facial, are just too strong for any male counterpart. All those need to be subdued drastically first, unless she plays a villain. Then her looks are perfect. She is going to be with Xu Kai, an another gorgeous looking man and talented, in Falling Into your Smile. I don’t know how this is going to play out... A female gamer as that... God, their portrayals in the Chinese drama industry have always been obnoxiously rude and annoying. I think Love O2O was the only one where the female lead (a female gamer) was calm and collected; hence, their immense success.

Yes, you are right. You are one of the very very very few. As for the make up’s strategy, I do not agree at all. Chen Xiao already has very strong facial features; what she needed was a makeup that subdued those strong features. I don’t agree that all female warriors or all female kung fu masters need to look like an overzealous made-up female Amazon. Example: Master Chu Min; she was exquisite as a kung fu master. And her makeup could not have been any simpler.
FYI: General and I is my top of all time favorite drama. And BaiPingTing is my ideal of energetic, intelligent, proactive and charismatic female Wuxia character. Similar to Master Chu Min, the lady was exquisite and definitely “not cute.” She was not the forever stereotypical strong but annoyingly/obnoxiously rude and bratty female Wuxia characters.
I feels like I wasted 2 years of my life waiting for these highly promising Wuxia dramas. - Novoland: Eagle Flag - The Great Ruler - Guardians of the Ancient Oath - Legend of Awakening - Ever Night 2 *Complete and utterly disappointment from every one of them. *I will watch Immortality; however, my anticipation and expectation are at an all time low...
For starters, the sound is great. One thing I hate about modern Chinese dramas is that they almost all have horrible sounds. So far so good... Johnny is playing Johnny and they got my attention.
I don't remember if there were any in earlier scenes, but there's one in ep 44
Good. I was afraid of that atrocious shade of lipstick. Wow... Putting her obvious inexperienced acting aside, they did everything wrong to that poor girl. Her horrible and unattractive wardrobe, her old fashion matriarchal hairstyle and her atrocious makeup. Who the hell did she piss off in that production?
Yes, exactly..So sad of what happened for the whole episodes.. FL totally ruined it. she need a lot of acting…
God, I hope that Cheng Xiao aka Bringer of Destruction does not ruin Falling Into your Smile like she did to Legend of Awakening. If Xu Kai can not save this one either; then, she will be living up to her name...
Their scenes together were not awkward enough? You are asking for kiss...
Up to episode 40; thanks the gods, there haven’t been any kiss yet just some trials and errors. However, there are still 8 more episodes before she finally dies. Unfortunately there are still chances.
After more than a year long of waiting for English subs...
In all the tomb raiders series, there is always one character usually the best friend of the male lead who is unbelievably annoying and stupid. However, in this one - Tomb of the Sea, we have 2 idiots and yes, including the male lead. Wow... I understand Li Cu’s character played by Leo Wu is still in high school but Oh Lord... - He is stupid, annoying, useless and incredibly slowwitted. His character is my least favorite male lead among all the series and I have watched all of them; of course excluding the upcoming one - Lost Tomb 3. As for the female doctor, her character is soooooooooooooo unnecessary; there is not even a single reason why she should be mentioned. It is really a party of 4 idiots.
FYI: I basically fast forwarded every scene that did not have Wu Xie and his gang, Captain Zhang and his gang, Lay and Master black glasses.

The major criticisms isn't all about the drama itself. I agree that the drama did start out well until episode…
It might be cruel to say but her unnecessary character did not die soon enough. The title is Legend of Awakening; however, that awakening took so damn long (please, pardon my French). I thought if she dies mid-way or three-quarters of the way; that would be enough motivation for Lu Ping to have his six powers awaken... but well, we know what happened...
I am at episode 40 and I can no longer fight for this drama. The writing went from: - Average - Disappointing - What the HELL!!! There were lines that did not even make any sense. Some of the characters’ reactions to some tragic situations were just baffling...
*What I loved about this Wuxia drama were the entering and the ending OSTs and the actress, Wang Jia Ning, who played Chu Min’s character. She showed so much complexities in her acting. It is regrettable that I have not noticed her before. *As for Arthur Chen... Well, I just have to wait for Immortality. This one was not it.
Can you please explain what really happen and why he cant remember .. his he the demon investigating himself ?
Ever Night 2 had great potentials too. But we all have witnessed of what happened. If it is going to be the same usual Chinese sequel scenario, they should just stop right there.

Any scene.

Really?
Did he get painted all over by her overly exaggerated dark shade of red lipstick?
This is ridiculous; why married an actor if you are going to get jealous? He is been married for some times too, right?

Lately, all the Chinese sequels have been so disappointing...
He was like a big and adorable goof-ball with martial art skills.
