Deng En Xi is very likable; she reminds me of Tan Song Yun. I am keeping my eyes on her. She has great potentials. Arthur Chen is always getting the best actresses to play his family (biological blood related or not...) Now, if we could get him the right actress like, Rachel Wang, to play his female counterpart, that would be just peachy...

Don’t let his grandiose/privileged background and his good looks fool you... This young man can act. That is what I call INNER TALENT. Very rarely, we get to witness talented young actors like Arthur Chen who are simply borne with IT...
Also, Deng En Xi, the young actress who plays his little sister is only 15 years old? 15 years old?For real... So young and so captivating. Wow... This one is also going far... Apart the FL, I am definitely enjoying the cast.

In a way, I kind of piety her. The whole production crew seemed to have been out to get her. Her entire wardrobe for the drama does not do her justice. She already does not have a long neck but they dressed her in high collar dresses. She looks like a torso and a head without a neck - not attractive at all. Also she has unusually larger bosoms than most (not sure if they are real or not); her wardrobe accentuated them too much and not in a good way. Slightly inappropriate for that kind of setting. Lastly, why they gave her that matriarch, old woman hairstyle? That is why I piety her. Beside her obvious lack of acting training, it feels like they went out of their way to make her unattractive.
I had the exact thought. She should have been the main female lead in this. First, her body is much more fluid…
True. They both were filmed in 2018 - 2019. Well, we cannot always have the best of both worlds... Hopefully, they will both have a project together. They really complement each other very well.
I really want to watch this for Cheng Xiao but I'm super confused by the difference between the comments and the…
No. The story is really good. I am at episode 15 and at this point, I really don’t mind that Cheng Xiao is playing the female lead anymore. The rest of the cast is so likable that it is easy to ignore her rigid acting. My favorite characters are Su Tang and Mo Lin; they both are just so adorable and funny.
By episode 12 ...little bit improvement in cheng xiao. But emoting love scene is what gona make or break her acting…
I had the exact thought. She should have been the main female lead in this. First, her body is much more fluid and more suitable for choreographic fighting sequences. Second, with Rachel Wang‘s ever so expressive eyes and Arthur Chen’s smug demeanor; they could have portrayed a more powerful power-couple.
so far i have only watched 2 episodes but I dont think its that bad in terms of storyline, will see how it develops…
These days, those mediocre actresses get cast for lead roles because of their popularities from their fanbase. Pure and genuine talent is becoming a rarity in the film industry... Very Sad...

It is a world consensus that the worldwide audience will be watching Legend of Awakening solely because of Arthur Chen!!!
The rest of the cast is good... Cheng Xiao is very stiff... I think that I am going to ignore her completely because I am enjoying every one else. I hope we don’t get a “Guardians of the Ancient Oath” scenario where Song Zuer‘s one dimensional horrible acting utterly killed the entire drama... In any case, we all know that we are just waiting to see how much better this young actor, AC, has possibly improved.
His charming swag was very much missed in Ever Night 2.

It is going to be very, very, very hard but I am going to restrain myself from writing anything about this drama. Because ANYTHING I write is going to be biased... Therefore it won’t be fair toward all the rest... Great entering OST by Wang Sulong with the chorus of children...
He really does. He looks like the manly version of Xiao Zhan. No disrespect intended... Xiao Zhan is the juvenile version whereas Wang Yan Yang is the more charismatic version.
I think we may have our next, Zhang Ruoyun - Good looking and unbelievably talented. These 2 combos do not come…
Good luck with the binge watching... hahaha I certainly enjoyed watching both of them, myself. Me too, I am planning on rewatching AMA. I can’t wait for his next projects. But I am assuming with the worldwide pandemic, all projects have been placed on hiatus.
She was a gymnast... Now I that explains why she looks short and stocky. She has a mesomorph body type.

And indeed, I am at episode 15 right after Lu Ping started to suspect that his mentor might have betrayed him.

I don’t think that we are watching the same drama...
Lee Jong-suk is the same way...

Yeahhhhh...
I am still at episode 2 and I have yet found any inclination to go back...

I watched the first 2 episodes of EN 2 months ago. I have yet found the courage nor the persistence to go back. Hahaha...
