My very first BL drama was Addicted. And I watched it 3 years or so after its original release. At that time, without being informed about China’s peculiar and complex BL censorships and regulations… I was utterly outraged when the episodes just stopped abruptly. Which in turn… brought me to read my very first BL novel, Addicted: Heroin.
Simply the best. Every year I go back and rewatch favorites: right now it is “Fated to Love You” after rewatching…
I think the role that transcended his undeniably amazing acting skills is… Money Flower. Jang Hyuk is without any doubt “The God of Acting of the East.”
When it comes to Jang Hyuk… I am absolutely and irrevocably biased. I hate when JH plays the second male lead or the antagonist character. Even-though, he always ends up, without exception, stealing the spotlight.
Darren Wang… Just like Darren Chen, he is one of the most underrated Taiwanese actor in the Chinese film industry. He is unbelievably versatile with his acting craft. He deserves much more popularity and recognition than some of the fragile, pretty and pearly faces… Out-there.
I can’t wait to watch him in his most newest and recent projects. Hopefully, they won’t take 3 long years again; before they are finally released.

I remember dropping it back then. Is it that good?
I have lost count on how many times that I have watched this drama. I get emotional every single time. And the OST could not be anymore perfect for the storyline.
My thoughts exactly.I was fooled by the misleading summary and I thought this drama had a serious dramatic plot…
Exactly! When I see these unpolished and unskilled actors and actresses in mature cinematographic productions… Where they rendered the finished products ludicrous… Fluffy dramas like, The Sleepless Princess and Bright As The Moon should have been their starting points so they could acquire some darned needed first experiences.
However these days… These unskilled noobies only need an excessive and overpopulated fanbase, in order to get cast.
There is something so very irritating when those production film companies cast valuable, skilled and outstanding actors and actresses like, Thomas Tong or Zheng Yecheng in insignificant, fluffy and ridiculous cinematographic productions. Meanwhile, unskilled and completely novice actors and actresses are casted in better and more mature productions.
Just like Zheng Yecheng in The Sleepless Princess… My incredible well-versed, Thomas Tong, in an incredibly idiotic and fluffy production… So very sad.
Surreal, unrealistic and exceedingly farfetched… However, it was so fun to watch. One of the best Chinese and Western movie collaborations that I have watched. And their synchronized modern kung fu dances at the end were the best.
Why would they make a season 2 and 3 for this half baked romcom/stiff romance drama? Trying to make up for how bad season 1 was🤣🤣🤣… My Roommate is a Gumiho was great in every way… The casting, the writing, the acting, the storyline, the directing, the editing and the CGI; however, I think one season is enough. About other dramas that deserve a second season: Signal, Vagabond, Taxi Driver, The Guest, Gu Family Book and many more…
That production company must have a massive amount of money to waste.
It has to be Jang Hyuk.
Very amusing, indeed!
Well, thanks for the laugh.

With the one and only, Kim Soo Hyun.
😊😋😊😋

Anything Jang Hyuk’s is most absolutely worth watching.

I was reading it some times ago; somehow I lost the link.

Was the star power of Lee Dong Wook and
Jo Bo Ah from their respective fan-clubs😉.

Using the same cast from the movie, of course…
Like Squid Game. More times for development.
