This is a rather simple and straightforward storyline... It is not hard to guess who the culprits are; however, the writer threw so many twists and turns that we need a GPS tracker to find the end of the story.
To me, it is not really the most interesting police thriller out-there but what I am most impressed with... Are the spectacular performances from both Shin Ha Kyun and Yeo Jin Goo who portray our 2 leading protagonists, Lee Dong Shik and Han Joo Won. Shin Ha Kyun is a veteran actor with phenomenal acting skills and a vast array of ranges. Clearly, this is a role for him. Yeo Jin Goo, on the other hand, even with an extensive portfolio as a child actor... His ranges are getting better and better with each project. The subtle nuances in his acting are becoming more and more distinctive.
The only missing character is... Techno portrays by Mild Jinna Pichit-o-Pakun. I feel that he is the one who can add that abrasive rawness of words to any scenes that are too intense. He is a master of explicit comedy. He would have perfect for this drama.
Best cinematographic piece of 2020...And I mean in all categories! The Oscars (The Academy Awards) very much need…
Usually, I don’t particularly like high school BL; however just like HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count... I Told Sunset About You is really really really well made. Teh and Oh-aew’s chaotic emotions and attractions for each other felt like a Russian roulette. Their struggles to learn about themselves and to accept their preferences were palpable, raw, realistic and relatable.
With the vast array of commercialized BL drama clichés that are being released recently... Only a very few can stand on their own, as almost a different genre all together. I Told Sunset About You is the third one after Addicted and SOTUS that I have rewatched. And probably will rewatch again; once the second part is released.
LEO WU is Fantastic, I can't believe people over looked this talented young man. Many haters was on this same…
That’s right! After watching Leo Wu in Cross Fire last year... I absolutely did not have any more reservations for his coming performance as Ashile Sun in this historical period drama. Absolutely no reservations! I knew that he had it in the basket...
*Interesting enough, I am more skeptical and more reserved about Arthur Chen for his coming performance as Mo Ran/Mo Wei Yu/Ta Xian Jun in Immortality. Although ecstatically, AC looks exactly like the written character in the original novel...
It’s because of the Fei Liu effect. There something forbidden about it. Intellectually, A Sun is hot! Emotionally,…
- Hotel Del Luna - The Crowned Clown - My Absolute Boyfriend He had kissing scenes in all of them and in the last one; his well defined abs and torso were exposed just like Leo...
@kairiofthesky I can totally relate with this as I am always attracted to characters with darker personality traits.…
Although I was utterly displeased with the bizarre road that they took with the romance part... Darren Wang’s performance as Chu You Wen/Prince Bo was breathtakingly beautiful, dark and intense. I just kind of blacked out the unnecessary rival scenes.
Billkin’s voice is so beautiful and so soulful... He reminds me of some of the great American pop/soul vocalists from the 90s. On top of that, the kid can certainly act. PP is also good but Billkin’s vocals are much more grounded. I rarely see young singers with vocals like these, anymore.

Good Evening, Viewers! This week, on 'The Long Awaited Uncensored Kiss', we shall be exploring fauna of the Prairie.…
Ahhhh... The oh-so forever well known and never failed to disgust, the “Little B#tch, Mommys Boy.” Shifu She'Er, it is time to let go of mommy’s boobies...
More reports will follow in next week live of “The Darn Long Awaited Uncensored Kiss.”

This rival love triangle went one step further... Which was way too far for me... The leading lady married the love rival and had her first matrimonial bedding scene with him, instead of the leading male. In a matter of less than a scene, she ran back to the leading male and of course, he accepted her... It just felt dirty and icky. Like the leading male got himself something that has been already used.

Oh! I love that. “Intellectually, A Sun is hot! Emotionally, I feel dirty.” For wanting to see it. That is exactly how I feel about Leo. I also call it the “ Noona/Namdongsaeng Effect”
I have the same feelings about Yeo Jin-goo with his intimate scenes.
I am on the other side of that spectrum...My problem with Liu Yuning is that after watching him in The Lost Tomb:…
Exactly. Wei Shuyu’s character is like the back in the days American tv show, Seinfeld. A show about nothing but very much talked about. His character is also about nothing but very much talk about... LOL

Wei Shuyu is one character that I am still not getting why he is even in the drama...? Is it for eye-candy alert...? I mean there is more than enough good looking actors with substance, already.
That alone, was enough for me to enjoy that police crime thriller.

What the hell was that?
*Well, I did like the ending OST.

They do tend to have a better body image.
Very manly like Darren Wang and Leo Wu.

Back to you,

I Told Sunset About You is truly an exquisite story and production.
Sharing my thoughts about it helps me with the wait for the next part.
Green grass
Dried grass
Wet grass
Thick grass
Lean grass
Bushy grass
And the least favorite... Dead grass
Anymore types of grass? Because we are still waiting for that darn “Long Awaited Uncensored Kiss.”

However the writing and the depiction of Lord Bo’s character were on themselves, a masterpiece.
His darkness was exquisite.
You might want to try if you don’t mind stereotypical stupid rival love triangles...
That part was a complete let down for me.
