The unsavory situation here is a minor (An actor who is under 18 years old) has been placed in a storyline that is utterly inappropriate for his age. What makes it worse is that his counterpart is 28 years old.
The casting department for this BL production is undoubtedly questionable.

The bonified idiot who casted these 2 actors to play each other’s love interest should have been FIRED, HIRED, and REFIRED again. Once, I read the 2 leading actors’ bios halfway through the show… It was incredibly difficult to watch them together in any of their scenes. That was pure stupidity to couple a 28-year-old actor with a 16-year-old actor… Basically a child actor. It is morally wrong. Finally, the screenwriters and the director should bypass, altogether, the whole “Judgment Day” thing… To go straight to HELL. What they did to “Are You Addicted?” A mature, dark, and profound novel is simply unforgivable. NO, I DO NOT CARE FOR A SECOND SEASON. “Stay With Me” deserves a second season… Not this.

Have you watched “One and Only (2021)”?For me, that is Allen’s best work.
The novel adaptation aka, the modern version did not do it for me. However, “One and Only” hit all the right spots for me. Without one single kissing scene, “One and Only” is one of the most romantic… Yes, tragic… However, realistic in terms of the 2 leading characters’ doomed romance… That I had the pleasure to watch.
Am I the only one thinking that this show is unbelievably slow? The power of those immortal beings does not match the low intensity and the low progression of the story itself.
I practically don’t bother to follow the lines anymore. They are repetitive, boring, long, and unexciting. This show has become one of my unfortunate “white-noise background” shows. I simply let it play in the background while I am doing something else… Like putting an IKEA piece of furniture together.
What can I possibly say more about this series? Whether it is “Joy Of Life” season 1 or 2; it doesn't disappoint. - Unbelievable cast 👌 - Sublime writing 👌 - Amazing production 👌 - Incredible directing 👌
(If only they could release the seasons faster… That would be great. But I understand that great things come with patience… Same for “Nirvana In Fire”).
