This production was a real gem among the very few gems.

I only enjoyed watching Song Wei Long in “Go Ahead” and Angelababy in “General and I.”
“Love the Way You Are” and “Divine Destiny” were ok but her counterparts did a much better job than her.

That first episode was very difficult to watch. Her facial expressions seemed to have been frozen in some kind of liquid nitrogen mixture. It remained constantly the same.

3 things to take away from this Greek tragedy:
1) Chen Zhe Yuan absolutely and undeniably nailed his character. To put it simply… The dude took that role and made it his own personal B..ch.
I am utterly impressed by his acting and his stage presence in this production which could have been so much clearer with a bit of more manicure.
It reminds me of Darren Wang in “The Wolf” with a subpar writing/production but his acting delivery was simply phenomenal.
2) Our favorite BL/🫢…NON-BL couple was a great addition to the storyline. Their interaction, chemistry, and synergy made up for the complete lack of those traits from the main couple. Kudos to those 2 actors.
3) In relation to the BL/🫢…NON-BL couple in this action-military setting…
To the Thai and the Taiwanese BL producers and directors📣…

For me, it is a fantasy -costume piece that is definitely boring at times. FL is too impulsive and too arrogant in a lot of the scenes.
For me, just watchable.
