Wait. Episode 22 and the FL is still annoying? Darn! I thought by then, her character would have been less annoying.
Really? She was not? I think after episode 18 or 19, I started fast-forwarding her every time she came into the scene… without the ML. For me, she was one of the most irritating FL characters that I have watched. I have a few of them on a list; her character definitely made that list.
Fyi: I know it will have gone against the plot but I really wish that her sister’s character was the FL instead of her.
Heartbreak in a form(felt bad for nan heng but great ending)I just finished watching *A Dream Within a Dream*,…
Well said. Liu Yu Ning carried that script on his back up the hill, down the hill, around the hill… On the surrounding hills.
I hope that he got paid extra for his character, Nan Heng, because that was rough. Nan Heng is one of the most mistreated male lead characters I have ever watched.
I love that they gathered all the ridiculous clichés and applied them as a sort of satire… That part is very entertaining.
I hate the way the ML is being bullied, ridiculed, and mistreated by every other character in the storyline/plot… That part is abhorrent.
PS: The FL is not working for me. Li Yi Tong can not do comedy. Her character feels very awkward. A better choice for that role (If she could speak Chinese) is the Korean actress, Shin Hye Sun. She would have made that character her personal b…ch.
FL character just gets out of hand the more im watching its so frustrating
I am only in episode 5 and I am already having a hard time liking her character. Her jokes are simply not funny. Not sure if it is the actress or her writing that is not working.
I dropped it at at ep 24 but I should have dropped it sooner. Like at the cliff scene. I honestly didn’t care…
I feel you. I watched up to episode 24 only for Liu Xue Yi. Then I skipped it to later episodes just so I could see how that ridiculous obsessive/mentally impaired prince got what he deserved. Well, I have to say… Even his death was absurd and useless. After that, I simply dropped it.
Not even Liu Xue Yi’s remarkable acting skills could save that idiotic production.
FYI: Why the hell did they use the same actor for 2 different characters? That was stupidly confusing.
Wow. Wow. Wow. I call this… Lee Jae Wook‘s redemption for that last horrible production “The Impossible Heir.” Bring 1 or 2 boxes of tissues because it is needed. My faith in Lee Jae Wook’s acting skills is still unshakable.
Whoever wrote and scripted the second part of this production (Episode 18 and on…) was on some unique and on some very special crack ( Or on some many many many narcotics). What the hell am I watching right now? This makes no freaking sense whatsoever.
I am in episode 10 and pretty much, every single character is getting on my nerves. Most of all, that sanctimonious righteous idiot, the 3rd prince… And the ML’s annoying sister… I feel sorry for Liu Xue Yi, such a great actor…. However, most of his project’ selections are mostly beneath his caliber.
“Kill Me Love Me” was not that bad; most definitely, better than this one. Can’t wait for “The Blood of Youth Season 2.”
Why is this drama 7.9 now it was 8.2 what's wrong with people. If you don't like action dramas please pass it…
This is easily an 8.7 rating. Both Kim Nam Gil and Kim Young Kwang gave 2 wonderful portrayals with multiple layers. One of the best that I have watched from Kim Young Kwang and many years.
This is simply a great production. A storyline where the protagonist and the villain are equally great. Both sides are well-executed and well-scripted. At least an 8.7 rating.
PS: One of the rare times where the villain’s character is so hot that it is difficult to hate him.

Holly Molly!
30 episodes with her bizarre acting. That is a lot… Even for Liu Yu Ning…
That was the same concept in “Mr. Queen” but Shin Hye Sun was simply hilarious with her entire delivery.
Li Yi Tong is just awkward here.

Seriously irritating.

They both look so alike that I thought that was the same actor. Ops

Their kissing scenes were awkward to watch.
On the other hand, in KMLM, the kidding scenes were fire.
Wow.

It is REALLY not good.
I have never skipped that many episodes from a Liu Xue Yi’s project… EVER!
What the hell am I watching right now?
This makes no freaking sense whatsoever.
I am in episode 24, they have kissed a couple of times now and they were laughable.
Most of all, that sanctimonious righteous idiot, the 3rd prince…
And the ML’s annoying sister…
