The Uncanny Counter most definitely needs a season 2... 3... 4... As many seasons as possible. I utterly and thoroughly enjoyed and loved this drama. OCN killed it with this one!

From day 1, I didn’t like that kid. I always thought that there was something not right about him. However aside that initial unfavorable impression of him, experiencing that toxic and destructive environment from these 2 parents... There is no way that he does not come out more messed up... more unbalanced... Actually leaving them for whatever how long, was probably the best way for him to survive them... to survive himself...
On a side note: How in the hell, you were about to commit suicide right in front of your kid? Like that kid was not already damaged enough... What the hell is wrong with you? What the selfish bastard.

I so wanted this to be a serious spy thriller drama with the added adorable new family for our best (crème de la crème) NIS black agent, Kim Bon. However, that is so so so so so not it:(
Instead, it is a comedy spy with absolutely no logic... Whatsoever. And I am using the word “SPY” very loosely. It is more like a “What Not To Do” James Bond/Jason Bourne 101 course.

JH has a wife, 3 young kids and he is a legend in the Korean film industry... I doubt that he will do a romance, again. But yeh... It will be nice to see his fabulous abs, again... as well as his back-in-the-days sensual kissing scenes;)

A parallel movie to that drama is Empire of Lust. He plays Yi Bang Won’s characters in both of them. JH is extremely diverse; he is unbelievably astute at playing protagonist as well as antagonist characters.

Agreed. This movie came out during the pandemic; hence, the low viewing. When things are back to normal, they should definitely re-release it in theaters as a big blockbuster.
