She was mischievous and bubbly around her cousin, only... Not around the king. Her deeds with the king have nothing to do with her temperaments before her royal marriage.
But that was not even my question. My question was about Jang Bong-Hwan’s state-of-mind, after returning to the modern era? Not about Kim So Yong’s earlier dispositions.
Why? His soul did not feel anything that night? And what about those assertive and aggressive kisses... You actually think that was Kim So Yong doing the deeds (a timid maiden from 200 years ago) and not Jang Bong Hwan (a modern man in the splendeur of his youth)?
To our 2 brilliant writers, Park Kye-Ok and Choi A-Il, Thank you for not ruining this phenomenal historical drama. It was only 20 episodes long; however, they were the most enjoyable and the most hilarious episodes that we have seen since the release of Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People in 2017. Indeed, it has been a while since we had a great Sageuk. And Mr. Queen most definitely brought it!!!
Now, let’s address the pink elephant in the room: Jang Bong-Hwan slept with a boy and got pregnant... LOL Does that make him gay after he transmigrated back to his modern self? *Not there is absolutely anything wrong with that... ;)
It is nerve-racking... Waiting for the last 2 episodes to air and to be fully subbed before I can watch them both, together.
And praying every gods in existence that they don’t ruin a phenomenal drama with these 2 last episodes... I feel like taking a trip to the infamous “Bamboo Forest” just to scream... • mama (hangul 마마) and (hanja 媽媽)
Is the FL supposed to be smart or super dumb? I mean WTF! She’s so annoying
That is exactly what I am thinking. Giving that I am at the beginning of the drama... Maybe down the line, this FL will get smarter; however so far, she is a complete idiot with way too much make-up on. How in the hell, she is passing for a man with that much make-up on... is beyond me...
I’m really excited for this!Though I have a random thought/question maybe you guys have your opinion on. Do…
I have never seen Leo in a kissing scene before. He has always been the lovable and charming little brother to me. I guess; it is about time for him to break out of that juvenile mold. That is going to be interesting to watch...
Yeah, she deserves daesang award. Also, for kimjunghyun ,they haven't given him any award yet despite his brilliant…
I agree that he is versatile. Because you wrote that he has not gotten any award yet; therefore, I answered that he had received one.
Anyway, there is no way that this drama does not receive the maximum number of awards, this year... Unless they categorically and royally MESS UP/RUIN the last 2 episodes... From writing, casting, acting, directing, production and even OST... Everyone deserves an award for this project.
*The last time, I think that a Sageuk felt so great in its entirety was with Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People.
Yeah, she deserves daesang award. Also, for kimjunghyun ,they haven't given him any award yet despite his brilliant…
Kim Jung Hyun got MBC Best New Actor Award for Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People.
I remembered noticing him in that drama because he has that very lovable face that can turn vicious in a matter of seconds. I thought that this actor definitely has those attributes to portray a complexed psychopath.
People came to know SHS from My Golden Life. She has won multiple Excellence Actress Awards of respective channel…
I was never a fan of hers; however, I have to admit that Shin Hye Sun freaking deserves an award for her role in Mr. Queen. There is playing a character and there is becoming a character... She became that character. Same goes for Kim Jung Hyun.
Only 2 episodes left... So far, best Sageuk of the year.
Now, to our dear 2 brilliant writers, Let’s not kill this heavenly gorgeous young king for the sake of Korean history. Let’s change his miserable historical ending for a more joyous one. That is why we created artistic freedom. We used it for The King: Eternal Monarch so surely, we can also use it for Mr. Queen.

Cocaine, heroine, opium, opiates...
Whatever the popular substance was back then.
Dude was the definition of a crack-head!
I will probably finish watching it, at some point...
Fyi: Great insights.
I have not watched the last 2 episodes, yet. I believe you:)

Then, it’s going to be February for ever.
Do we get a second leap-year this year?
Leaving the nest:(

It is similar when people say:
“I am not attracted to men; I am only attracted to him.”
It is not about the physical appearance (The gender); it is about the deeper connection to a specific soul.
