Same, I watched HCCC before MY.

In fact, I watched it while it was airing, as I’m a Kim Seonho’s fan. I almost dropped it in its last 4 episodes or so. But I enjoyed it.

I watched MY without any expectations. Went in because of Li Xian after Go Go Squid. 1st ep got me in heavy tears. Early episodes felt slow, but I never decided to drop it and it left me with a very high sense of satisfaction and cured some broken parts of my soul.

The scriptwriting of MY is top notch, I wish I could get my hands on the script. Sad that it wasn’t adapted from a novel like most Cdramas.

Yeah I also never thought of HCCC when I was watching MY. Tbh, I see no dramas could come close to MY. Meanwhile, I thought of my top fav Thai drama “To Me, It’s Simply You” when I was watching HCCC.

I’m already doing it. 🤣

I am going to rewatch this drama. I suddenly had some nostalgic feelings about it.

I really love the scene at the bench, where they show Xu Hongdou falling for Xie Zhiyao while they were staring at the starry sky. So beautiful.

Maybe you’re not into slow-moving dramas. I’m usually the same but this one is just different.

The pace is consistent, but the storylines gets more interesting and the ending is happy and satisfying.

The ML’s face is like a mix of Yang Yang and Chen Feiyu. With that haircut he’s still good looking, IMO.

I’ve only known the FL actress in You Are My Glory. She reminds me of a Thai actress, Bua Nalinthip.

Hahaha I totally understand why you’re torn. When I was watching it, there were times when I binged a few episodes, and other times I took my time and watched 1 episode per day. It felt sad to reach the ending but I had to. 😂
