He clearly did since he was acting like drunk, but if one has a discussion back and forth while staying on the subject means he is conscious enough. He did not push Kinn away :)

Well people are not surprised about this because they are not students, they are in the mafia and the original source is way way more than the series. Also this is not free so less children have access to it.
As for TharnType I thought it was dumb that people judged that hard without researching... plus both shows are fictions based on erotic stories why would they think the plot is realistic? It plays with fantasies first then romance is second...

They say that but don't make it easy for fans that don't have money or access to certain platforms
I think this is the most crucial time, could be that after the show airs they will make it accessible on other platforms...

So.... are we going to have a rape scene next week????
Don't think so, as I know one of the reasons they changed the writers and stooped with the first version is because the series was close to the novel and not easily digestible ... so they made sure in this version to change them.

James Prapatthorn Chakkhuchan is back, he did a great job in The Effect, I am curious about this project because it's the opposite, also it reminds me of a BL Japanese one-shot manga.

Title Plus & Minus Spoiler
I think Zheng Ze Shou was drunk and his inhibitions just went away, he was young and hormonal, he cherished Fu Li Gong, his feelings overflowed, and kissed him out of happiness.
Zheng Ze Shou seems to me, from the first episode, he is the type that does not care if it's a guy or a girl, he just wants to be close to the person he cares for.
Fu Li Gong on the other hand is more self-aware and serious, I also think his feelings developed after the kiss because he does not know where Zheng Ze Shou stands because of the involvement of alcohol, he is unsure and not ready. I think he is aware of his feelings but he is scared for their friendship.
Zheng Ze Shou at the same time is picking up on Fu Li Gong's reactions and so he pretends not to remember :) They are both kinds-of waiting on each other's clear action and commitment to their feelings.

Yes, I don't remember well, I am in the same situation and now I don't remember the reason he was participating.
Also, I don't know if he is indecisive or guarded, he had no problem presenting him to his aunt with whom he is close and supports him without judgment.

Yes , it's good people have different opinions :) I did not get that vibe from the movie and the screaming thing I did not tale literally, it's just someone's vision (like a metaphor). :)

Why does it matter what his job is in the first place?
The only reason it matters here is because his partner is a young fired up protester. He tries to calm him down, give him another perspective... but Xiang is dead set on his track, if a conversation would have flown it's very probable that he would have opened up, but as the the scene where they both scream shows, did did not manage to reach each other.
Kind of like hearing something but not actually listening...
Vic could see from the start the his partner is already riled up against the system (while Vic was part of it) and he did not feel Xiang would listen. We also don't know what drives Xiang to protest no matter the consequences, why is protesting so important to him that he would risk himself getting hurt or even fighting with his loved one?
As you mention "mind-fuck" there is no way Vic had bad intentions towards Xiang, he just felt he was talking to the walls... from my perspective. But yes I guess people could interpret is how they want. But I thought one of the themes of this project is the difficulties in communication, in feeling unable to open up or in having opposite views.

You can disagree that it's bad to give a platform to someone who romanticizes rape, but it's not petty. It's a…
Yes, it is true :) As for pedo good thing it was not in the BL's but I saw it in the comments for other projects, there was confusion whit the word college in some countries used as description for grade 11-12 which can mean under 18 and some countries use it to describe university so after 18... It was this BL recently when a younger guy falls for another guy that took time off from college and came back years later so he was older than the rest... people in the comments were questioning the situation not understanding well how old the characters were and if the relationship was between an under age person and and adult. Also I am watching now a Korean series that takes place in the 80's or 90's and the student girl falls for a guy that is 22... people were enraged in Korea by the idea, even though the girl is 19 in korean age (17/18 in western age) and the guy is 22 (give or take 1/2 years as well for western age)... so 3 years difference between them.
Also it made me think that the people from the 80's were marring faster, the more you think of the past the faster they were marring... People had to get their life together and mature way faster... My mother was 20 when she married, I am older now and I am not thinking about marriage at all.

I was saying in general that just as you mentioned there is a group that seem to blame her, while we know that normally people at 14 know that the behavior shown is not ok, so they would not easily be influenced like others think :)
Also now that you mentioned, I remembered that I discovered that "rape" is defined differently legally in countries... and I founded interesting that what you may define as rape it may not apply in other countries, so strange right?
To tell you the truth there were a few situations in which people were angry but were not considered abuse/rape in my country... I think it was "TharnType" and "Love mechanics" (I don't remember the title clearly) anyway the comment section debate made me curious so I was searching the laws in my country on the matter and I found they were different... Basically it all comes down to the way the victim is affected, if there is trauma and the victim feels abused the police will act, if the same thing happens to another person and they don't feel like things are bad the police will not get involved (the idea of rape and abuse is decided particularly in each case by the victims).
The same with pedophilia... in my country the age of consent is 14 or 15 so there are teens that have sex, if they initiate sex whit someone over age it's still legal here, pedophilia is described as an older person sexually aware that grooms or sexualizes an under age person that is not sexually aware, corrupting their innocence...
I found it so strange...

I get where it comes from, but as someone that is from a different culture than you, I can say teens are not that sensitive at 13/14 they should know that fantasy is not the same as the real world, if they think that tv-shows are meant to be taken as a role model for life and behavior... then they have been raised in a bubble.
This type of thinking I encountered at 4/5 years old that saw characters flying and wanted to try themselves, no way did I see it from a 14-year-old person that was well raised. Adults should stop acting towards their children like they are dumb, they should give them small responsibilities, communicate with them and let them mature a bit, at 14 they should be able to know what is right and wrong, they should be able to make small choices... not be in the state where they can be influenced by stories.
It's clear that there is not only one correct way of raising a child, and this is proven by so many different countries that we have on earth all with different cultures and laws, where children grow up so differently and they ok.
So if some people don't think this is right for the children in their country, the parents should monitor them... we can't blame the writer from a culture based on the mindset of other cultures.
People in Thailand don't have a problem with her because the content is not problematic for children there, it's not problematic in my country as well... but I know that teens are more sexually aware in Europe and the communication on the subject is open and not a tabu like in America for example or some other Asian countries...
In the end, it's not the writer's responsibility to cater to all the Planet... each parent should be attentive to their kid.

yest that is why I was confused that they only hinted things between Ichiro and Shiro, while they showed clearly Shiro naked in bed whit the other guy... they were censuring the main relationship but not the side thing... A strange decision made by the production team :)))
