Preach!! People do kind of forget about context and are so sensitive they want to censured stuff ( the original version was doped already even thought the image was the highest level).
I will be canceled but this is a fictional story, the world in general can be messed up and peoples opinions are not Fact.. they should shut up and not watch if they don't like it and let the people with common sense that know the difference between a drama and reality watch in peace.
Also I have to say I know people that had horrible experiences even sexual ones that they could not care less about, they were not traumatized they have families now and no problems... I was more shocked then they were and I guess people just cope differently, when it comes to death, violence, abuse and so on...
Bad things can be represented and toxic relationships as well and people know it's not romantic but there are some people so dumb out there they need instruction on how to open a bottle, which way to twist the cap :)) and I am not concerned for them at this point if they believed this series is an example on how to live in real life.

There is this stereotype in Asia, where the well developed Asian countries say that the other less developed Asian countries are dirty and uneducated, obviously young people today are not that close minded.
There was a scene in this series where the Korean team was competing against the Indonesian team and it ended up with a heated trash talk comentery where they mentiones something about " dirty, uneducated, vulgar bla bla" about the Indonesian characters. So the country boycotted the series, I don't even know if after that they ended up cutting that part out or not...

Omg :)) I was shocked of the IMBD score... this drama diserves way more, it's actually super good but people sometimes love nitpicking :))

could be he was not married then, but was engaged and married soon after, or that the guy in question was not her mail partner but someone like a guy friend or a guy with a crush on her character (the excuse of chemistry can be used by males that her character is supposed to get along with.

good drama :) the abilities in the game and the visuals of some skills remind me of Guild Wars 2 game :))

He was framed for something he did not do. And he was silenced and unable to tell the truth.
He fell so fast because China is a communist country where truth does not matter, because they can fabricated anything they want, God knows what they were after by attacking an inocent person, they did the same to Xiao Zhan... so creepy .

I watched the first 3 episodes, and from the first episode things apparently made sense but by the third, it became a story without balance.
So, clearly, this story takes place in an alternative world. Our world is governed by the rule of duality /opposites... if someone does something good they are rewarded, if they do something bad they are punished, and obviously, there are the chaotic events exercised by the existence of free will where people get affected by others' decisions.
In this universe, the balance between good and evil is non-existent, everyone is a target literally and randomly. So I am left with questions and not knowing what to expect. I like the vibe of the show, the production is good and the acting is good as well, but the premise of the show makes the characters feel completely helpless...
So frustrating, but I will start with the 4th episode.

Loved this drama! There was no need for sappy romance, the beautiful friendship was enough. The action is good and I think it's perfectly pared up with silly parts, the comedic relief is done in good taste (it's actually funny). The character growth is visible and all along with the storyline, I felt there was a purpose.
I appreciate the suspense moments as well, all in all, a good drama :)

From what I think, he would not back out from a project if he would have the time to do it, I mean he did secondary roles and also short films after The Untamed, if he would hold a project dear to his heart he would do it, but I am annoyed that he did tons of projects and China keeps dragging the air time... we are waiting again for 3 projects.
And with the "ban of pretty boys" God knows what type of dramas China will push on the screens.

I am curious which version they will go with, or if they will make a new one... because Boys over flower (Korean and Japanese versions) have a different ending, compared to Meteor garden (Taiwanese and Chinese versions)

You are right, usually in a show or in writing a story, feels like there is a purpose, the good characters usually achieve their goal and the bad characters eventually get punished (what goes around comes around), all characters are balanced when it comes to having good parts and bad parts... but in this show, they were so unrealistic and the characters just remained the same along the entire development of the story (the characters were unrealistic and they did not learn their lessons...)

I know, but it has to do in the trilogy because in the book it's written like that :) and originally they wanted to make the book and all the 3 stories with the same actors but they were not available.

Yes, I watched both series, even if both seem to have a few similar elements, Evernight is darker.
The set up for this series seems light, teens that are students, while the main characters from Evernight have a dark past and were kind of seen as loners (main guy always going to "war", while the girl was brought up a bit like a servant), they were viewed like pariahs untill they make their way into the "school". The way they are hunted it feels life threatening, the enemy is always "god like" and I feel they used more efects and fighting scenes. As for the pacing of the story rhere is a big difference between season 1 and 2 and but the changes were made for for specific reasons such as character developement and so on.
The vibe of the series are different.

well, now the articles say it will come out in 2022, at this point I am just waiting... I mean I waited for "The Wolf" from 2017 and it came out in 2020 :))
So it could be this is just dragged along, then after years and years it will air
