Title 2 Moons Spoiler
Does anyone know the reason the cast was changed for the new adaptation, 2 Moons 2? JUST CURIOUS!
Yes, I was watching the series as it aired and everything that happened, it was because of a scandal.
Basically one of the actors was filmed in an intimate situation and then someone posted it on the internet illegally/no permission, and people associated him with adult videos. As a result while the cast were already promoting the second season in 2018 one day they just found out that there were casting processes for other actors, they found it randomly. Most of the original cast was quite sad, some even cried. The people handling this series were just ass holes and kicked them out, they were all just victims.
I joked around that this series in cursed because now there is a problem with the new cast as well at least with Earth... He said he was fired randomly as well... as you can notice he is not in the cast of 2 Moons 3...

ruined it? qq
Wait I saw a lot of Japanese BL but I don't remember ever getting to see something similar... was it just a manga that I missed? Also, Japan did not seem angry or to think they plagiarized something... I mean the 2 main actors from MODC had a short appearance (as their characters) in a Japanese BL that just came out in 2020 the title is "Life Senjou No Bokura"...
I heard the production team left but there was no official announcement... If Japan is ok with it so am I :)

I'm so disappointed... I was really looking forward to seeing this sequel... TT_TT
Me too!! I decided to stalk any Chinese youtube channel that seems to do content on BL series and ask in ENG if they have news about this or what happened, I will wait for answers :))

Thank you for your kind words! I haven’t seen the drama you mentioned with the car accident, but it made me…
It's an old one... called "Lucky Romance" and she has the role of a superstitious girl that thinks she is unlucky and brings bad luck to all the people that care for her, so that is why she thinks it's her fault that the man that she loves and loves her back, will be cursed in a way ... and it manifested by the car hitting him. The production did a very bad job with the scene cuts in some places particularly in that specific scene... Her character in the same as always whiny and cries all the time. :)
Truthfully her dramas can be barele if watched like 1 in 3 years but if you watch them in a short spam of time you will go crazy :))
Along the years (a lot of years) I managed to see 6 dramas with her as main role and I have "Endless Love (2014)" in my "plan to watch list" but I did not dare to watch it because almost all of the 6 were frustrating and annoying.

LOL your review describes perfectly the way I feel about almost all Hwang Jung Eum projects. :))
I made the mistake of watching 3 of her projects in a shorter period of time and I was traumatized :))
When I saw a new drama was out and I looked at the cast I was so afraid to watch it, I immediately came here to see if this is ok or just her classical work full of exaggerated plots that became more and more exaggerated, incoherent character development, absurd decision making and what she is best known in Korea, crying scenes.
In all my history of watching film and drama projects, her's are the most absurd, and every time I see her I remember this scene from a drama where the love of her life gets hit by a car, she sees this happening, starts crying blaming herself them runs away without calling the ambulance... she just lives him there!!
I was so angry and frustrated that I ranted to my mother for an hour...
I studied scriptwriting so when the plot is bad, the characters are bad and the directing is bad, it's like torture to me (and most of her projects are like that). Thank you for your review I will not be watching this :) I need my sanity.

Title Secret Love
I tried this, and dropped it... there’s nothing wrong with it, I’d probably say it’s well done, but I didn’t…
OMG :)) I was slapping my self every episode to push through it...
Every drama the main actress chooses to accept is always filled with super exaggerated plot lines, tragedy, and a lot of crying. Her projects remind me of those Latin-telenovelas that have dramatic plot lines, and everyone loses their memory, and people just push each other down the stairs, and they would do everything for money :))
It took me some time to actually finish this drama and I felt the story was too absurd, I think it was because I saw 3 of her dramas in a short period of time and it was just too much.
I think the actress is considered the best in Korea when it comes to sad scenes or crying, the cast did a good job, but the plot just made me want to slap my self :))
Every time I see her I remember this one scene from a drama she was in that was the dumbest scene in drama history I ever saw :)) I think people need extra patients for projects like this and literally not to care about any logic in order to push through the story.

I think it's because it's short only 6 episodes and their universe seems complicated and so diverse and it was…
For me, I feel like the basics should be settled at the begging. I get a bit of mystery but for a full season not not have the info of how this universe functions, gives the viewer no sense about the environment and why things happen like they happen.
And as I noticed some people gave up on this series because they said it was too random.
Because it's how it is, the viewer can"t even say is the writer did a good job by making the world coherent and always respecting the same set of rules, but as I know this was based on a written project, graphic novel or webtoon or something similar so I bet there is more info there.
The story was different and that is why I liked, but I love when there are projects that are full of fantasy or supernatural or even SF that are so well written and coherent that it makes you think you can step into that world, no matter how un real it is, it's done so well that it seams real and plausible (and for that you need certain details that for now are missing here).

wth??? why is the rating so low?its a great drama. with good Animation scenes and a new refreshing plot. also…
I think it's because it's short only 6 episodes and their universe seems complicated and so diverse and it was not that well explained.
You kind of get a sense about it, you think you understand it, but then you actually don't have any information on it... that is how you feel after watching it :)) I would have wanted more details about this world and it's origins... all they say it's about the pond... what is it: a curse, demons, monsters, magic... ? I want to get the laws of their universe :) for that, I only gave them an 8.

OMG!!! This drama has a beautiful story and is good but then they top it off with Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu from history3: MODC, wtf I had a heart attack, made me happy and sad at the same time!! Mind-blowing!!!

Review Life: Love on the Line Spoiler
You are right!!! This series is super good, I read the manga and the manga is ok, but compared to the TV series, it just comes off as flat.
The series focuses on the feeling and development so well, it touches the heart, even if the manga has emotional parts and a similar feeling because it's a BL and has erotic parts as well, it always pulls you out of the romantic emotional part and it pushes you in the other intimate/erotic parts (so the viewer does not have time to ponder a lot on the serious situations). I did love some of the beautiful ways the mangaka decided to convey the idea of "passing time" and how in the last chapter she actually showed us about destiny and how the characters were basically closer to each other; than they knew and how things progressed even beyond life and death (but that was the most emotional part of the manga, basically).
As for Xiang Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu from history3: MODC omg, I had a heart attack, was happy but also sad... I loved their story so much that I wanted it to never end and have multiple seasons... but I guess I will have to be happy with "history2- crossing the line" new movie.

Yes, I know, but I am sure they will get the evidence since they are in the middle of reinvestigating the case and the reason why they jumped to conclusions, is because the people already knew of the father's condition and because Hyunsu was already labeled as having some kind of personality disorder as well...

I really wonder what show was that, just pure curiosity, I'm not trying to be rude.
Sry, yes, my comment was not meant specifically for you, it's just that you mentioned the show first and then I did remember, as you mentioned, that a lot of people said that it's overrated and compared it to other dramas, so I wanted to write in general.
I did like the writing in this show more than the other drama but I still consider "It's ok not to be ok" one of the best dramas in recent years, it is unique, the perspective is interesting and it does show care a lot of difficult subjects (mental illnesses, PTSD, people with disabilities, people with addictions) that are usually not highlighted in dramas. For the same reason, I also like the 2019 "When the Camellia Blooms" even if it's a slower show the character development is one of the best, and the show focuses so well on the relationships between the people of a community, on family (good things/bad things), marriage, and many other aspects from human life in parallel with another story that makes things more mysterious and scary. I thought this show is so realistic in portraying how people have smaller problems in their lives that impact them (and are important) while there are some that live through tragedies and are marked for life, how things go on and some just end abruptly and people have to commentate and react because that is life.
All 3 of these dramas have extremely good points. :)

well his wife and the other detective know the situation (our main guy is innocent/the sister was the one), the 2 killers are known now (so this proves that non of Do Min Seok's children are not like him or involved in the killings), if she comes forward and confesses the answer would be obvious because basically she was a highschool girl alone in a remote place with a strange man... if she did not have any bad intentions (as it was proven) then he was the one that did something in order to end up dead...

It's Okay to Not Be Okay is a good show , the story is good the acting is good, people should not compare them since they focus and highlight different things.

Every time Kim Ji Hoon is on screen, I look for my comfort blanket. It's silly but I'm really scared of him. He…
Choi Byung Mo - for some reason I find him charming, like for the things he does he seems so in control :)) (His character has dimension). Compared to him, his little pupil (that looks truly deranged/ and does not give a shit about anything) is scary you are right, Kim Ji Hoon did great.

But he never covered a crime, basically the sister it was just defending herself but he was scared the police will not treat the case fairly, since they had a psychopath father, so he took the blame and for the longest years, he was believed to be the accomplice. Basically he took it on to himself and that is how it became a murder case without reason.

A hermaphrodite is someone that has partially or fully both sexes. So basically if the character is someone that is both female and male fully and she damaged her female reproductive system I guess the doctor advised her to remain as a guy because those parts work just fine.
In these cases, one biological sex can be more dominant, and after you hit puberty the dominant part can be more obvious, for example, let's say as a kid appearance while you look more boyish but as a hermaphrodite, once you hit puberty your breast start growing and you decide to change into a girl completely and you make the medical decision to go under surgery and only be a girl.
There were some scandals about parents that panicked and decided the sex of the child as they were only a baby and as the child grew up it turned out the other sex was more dominant and obviously they had problems. There are some intersex people that chose to remain as both sexes.
